"Join Job" Should Never Make You Host

If I select "join job", that means I do not want to host a job...especially an empty lobby...

 

If no job can be found it should automatically send you back to free roam.

I 100% agree. Such a load of bullsh*t that after waiting 5 mins to put you in a game it puts you in an empty lobby as host.

 

Also there should be a system in place so after 1-2 mins of searching for a job it gives up and goes back to freemode. Can't stand the annoying occasional 5 minute wait that wastes time.

I agree it's a bit annoying, but it's never bothered me all that much. Sometimes I think this communities expectations are just too high. It's a pretty damn good game with a lot of moving parts. Easy to find stuff to complain about if you look.

Matchmaking has always been a HUGE issue for GTA:o and, given the amount of players, I see absolutely no reason for this to happen. I hope to see snappier, smarter matchmaking on New gen.

I think when it happens to me there were others waiting but they all leave because I'm level 372 seems like one person is left or I just see them go?....

 

But yes there's an issue were it takes so long that a game either launches for those waiting or times out that you just end up hosting which defeats object of this option.

This is the main reason why I stopped playing this game... In Free Aim, if I join a job, I instantly get placed my myself most of the time.

 

Traditional GTA, it's a 50/50 chance of finding a match, or waiting 1-2 minutes of waiting for the game to place me by myself. This sh*t started happening when On Call got implemented.

 

I can find MP matches faster in Halo 3 and Reach, Skate 2 and 3, and those games are ancient!

used to hate it when your waiting to start and someones taking for ever to join
