Nights744
Well I don't know what you're into but I recommend changing the timecyc because the one delivered with United 1.2 is very dark (probably because the lighting of LC2SA objects is so unoptimized). Download a VCS or LCS style timecyc or even use the timecycp from the San Andreas folder. Also I recommend getting modloader and looking for the "mobile vegetation mod". United uses most of the default San Andreas vegetation so with the mobile vegetation mod you get really high quality palm trees. Another thing you can try out is installing mods like "San Andreas Retextured" on your default San Andreas and then install United 1.2 over it. I did it back in 2012 and kinda liked it. What I don't like is how unoptimized and buggy the whole thing is. If you are using Silent's reflection fix for example you will see that all of Liberty City hasn't got reflection enabled. So you won't even see a bumpmap in LC when using ENB. A good timecyc cannot fix the unoptimized lighting of objects but it can make it look "better". Also some ASI mods don't work with United 1.2 because of the altered exe. That's the biggest drawback in my opinion! If you're into some coop action, I'm making a cleo version of the 2 player missions from the console versions at the moment and maybe I will also convert it to some total conversions like GTA United and Gosttown Paradise. You could also try out GTAUMP if you like multiplayer games. If you already played GTA on a playstation I can also recommend Ginput! It works with TCs and you really get a great feeling when hooking your computer up to a TV. Some people still write cleo missions for United so you could check that out if you like playing missions. Also there are car packs that convert all VC or III vehicles to San Andreas. So if you like that you can get them into your game very fast using modloader.
