How do you invite someone to a job that you got invited to?

If someone invites me to a job, how do I invite people without being the host?

I don't think a game invite will work, those seem to be for sessions/lobbies. For PS3, you can (I think, I'm away from console...) go to the PS menu > Friends > Friend "A" > Invite to game

 

As far as I can tell though (my experience), unless the Host is using "Auto-Invite", your friends can't join unless they are in another category (Crew/Friend/Same Session) of the Host.

I suppose you can't if you're on PS3...

You can do "Game Invites" on PS3, but those seem to only work for bringing people into the same Lobby.

or if your on ps3 when you join the mission from your phone it gives you the option now to join with friends and it auto sends them an invite.

But I think they might have be in the same session.

I have wondered about this to. Because I get friends inviting me that aren't the host to. I would love to know how to do this.

If your friend goes to the Friends menu in-game and selects you and then Join Game, he should be able to join the game regardless of host. I've been able to do this on many occasions. This is provided that there is a slot open.

Also the Auto-Invite and Play feature in the lobby will invite the hosts friends AND the other players friends if the host allows it to cycle that long. Just my observations.
