I think they just want you to spend money on ammo, others insurance and spent most of your time doing jobs which they even charge you for.

I feel ya but to be fair this game is based off money and it was stated way before release (everything In the game points to that)

 

So I guess it is what it is, gta 4 and V are different games

The police are there to stop the griefing, shooting things attracts the police. If you want to shoot players without the police, there are DM's and LTS for that.

 

The game is designed to me more about co-op with limited shootouts over targets like the HPV, crates etc. not jut all out war

I told him to stop ramming my car and was trying to run me down too supposly he was pretending to be like cops. So I blew his nice car up and left XD

The reason they hunt in packs is because they suck dick at the game. I have stood toe to toe with large groups of crew members due to the fact they cannot fight alone and have no skill.

Then I get accused of hacking and cheating.

Honestly, I find that the most fun I have in free roam is when I play "attack and defend" with random players. If someone comes along and kills me, I know there's a 90% chance they're repeat offenders, so I go and hide within a cluster of buildings or at some vantage point and wait for them to come again. I really enjoy and prefer the feeling of trying to survive against other sentient beings over predictable AI, and I get no more satisfaction from this game than knowing that I pose a challenge to people who try to kill me while I camp in a "safe" zone (assuming that I'm better than or equal to them at the game, which half the time, I'm not).

 

Just try to make a mini-game out of it. The only time I get upset is when someone repeatedly spawnkills me without giving me a chance to get away, but even that is fixable with passive mode.

 

Also, I don't like it when other people say "go to an invite-only lobby: problem solved," because if you're like me, then you'll almost always prefer public lobbies because you understand that it just "feels" better knowing that you can come across other real and unpredictable players. So if it's really an issue that the real and unpredictable players are not playing how you hoped they would (i.e. killing you), then your 2 main options are to either fly to your destinations or to put on passive mode, or both.

I'm fine with Free Mode as is, but we really need the BS/Insurance system of 1.16 back. I generally ride around on motorcycles, and it was great being able to fight back against super car griefers and NOT get punished for it.

The only thing that annoys me is when you turn the tables on someone they leave the session or go passive. If I'm getting owned I try and see If I can get away the old fashioned way, by running or driving to safety (or flying too!). It's funner for me that way.

In the real world, if someone shoots me, I call the cops on their ass. So we need the same thing in GTA0.

 

I want to be able to make a 911 call, not like we have now in GTA0, but one that has the automatic text (since the game knows who just killed me), like "Hello, is this the Police? I just got killed by xXsh*tHeadXx" and the guy will get a wanted level of at least 3 stars, if not 5 stars. Repeat offenders in a short time period should get more stars.

 

When some sh*thead does come along and kill me, I slap a $1000 bounty on them, if I can. But some assholes are either low level or specifically have not done Lester missions, so they can't be bountied, however. The other problem with the Lester bounty system, is the cool-off period is way to f*cking long.

 

So, I would rather have a system where, if someone kills me out of the blue, I can put 5 stars on their ass immediately, no cool-down.

That's the beauty of this game: we can do whatever the heck we want, when we want, and how we want to do it. I can bother you if I so take the notion because YOU DECIDED to play in a public lobby where it is free to do so. It's like the dude I encountered a while back in a battle in a public lobby. I pretty much spawn killed him before he could do the same to me. I then heard this voice say "Please don't shoot at me, I don't like it". That dude died a lot that night. If you don't want to die go hide in a private session.
