Anyone else sick of those people that kill you for no reason in free r

It's annoying AF. Especially my last session blown up when leaving garage and griefed by invincible group in a vehicle a bit later.

Yes, I'm sick of these same people. In a way it makes me look like a hypocrite, but I cause chaos in lobbies mainly when I'm playing with friends.

 

I usually try my best to combat them, but eventually I find a new session and/or go into invite only.

If this happened to you then I bet you would be saying why did this person kill me when you killed that person earlier on.

@above..you can not kill other players that are in a gang attack nor can you be killed by other players if you are in one

@Trefactor - Who said I was crying and what id you were robbing store and when yu get the cops on you. Then someone suddenly some random player kills you because he want to be a dick. Also saw a person yesterday getting clothing in a store. A random player comes near the store and what does he do, kill the player in the store for no apparent reason.

 

Also I bet you can kill them in a gang attack if you run them over with a car. It's the only way to kil someone during a mission if your not able to gun them down

I know some people get randomly killed, but in all honesty I haven't been randomly killed in months. If I don't want to get into PVP in freeroam I can usually avoid it. If I am on my bike as I usually am I use the wonderful map we have and avoid driving down roads that have other players. If I go into a store, I have a rule where I don't spend more than 10 seconds buying things, in a clothes store I check the map every 10 seconds to make sure no one is around. Have a bit more awareness in the game and you can avoid being griefed.

This is MY frustrations in a nutshell. I try and host ALL kinds of different things like races, tennis, golf, you name it and all most wanna do is just sit in free roam ALL DAY & grief people until their eyeballs fall out. Public Free Mode should be renamed as Bully Mode.

 

It's filled with bullies and they don't care about you, they only care about themselves and if you can't cater their fun, you have to leave. Typical school bullies way of thinking. Some people need to seriously grow their brains.

Or killed with polygonal bullets repeatedly. If they want a fight, give them one. It's unavoidable, really. The likelihood of someone coming after you because your dot is or isn't moving is pretty damned high.

 

Oh, sh*t. I just had an idea (that someone may have already had, LOL...). Everyone keeps saying Invite-Only. Why not go to the group/meet-up section and set up a peaceful meet. 15 other people that want to be chums in free mode. Imagine the fun you'd have with a lobby of people that just wanted to rob stores and have car shows.

@Lay - I always use that tip in mind also, if you don't want danger to come you, just stay away from it. becasue if you go near the players that are shooting at people that means your pretty much putting yourself in the middle of the chaos.

There are a lot of solutions to "Bullying" in GTA.

 

First off, find a new session. Pretty simple. Sometimes you get out numbered and there really isnt much you can do about it. Just find a new session.

Secondly, Join a Crew. Take note of the crew that is fu*king your sh*t up and come back with some back up.

Third, as stated above and really only an option for the biggies of pu*sies, move to a solo or invite only lobby.

Fourth, you just might not be cut out for thug life, check out Farmville or another similar game and eat a d*ck while you're at it.

I'm not one of those "this is Free Mode, we can do whatever we want players" but still... How are you gonna tell us what to do in OUR game WE bought just like you did? I don't understand this thread.

 

Yes, I made a account just to reply to this topic... Why do people complain? There is Passive Mode you know or you can either switch to a different lobby. No being an ass when I'm saying that... No disrespect to any of you guys.

 

Some of you all just of never played IV Multiplayer Free Mode. It's kill or be killed if you join a session with friendly-fire ON. This is why GTA V needs custom lobbies so it caters to everyone's taste in the style they play.

Not really. If Im not in the mood for it, Ill just go into passive as soon as I spot something suspicious on the radar. Had it the other day, a guy wouldnt leave me alone, so I went into passive and he went after a few minutes. The other option is just finding a new session and see if you can be left alone.

Worst I had was some tard drive up to me in the desert the other day and try the shoot out of the reverse a supercar to make themselves invincible trick..

 

I RPG'd his ass then he had the audacity to send a txt literally stating "Are you dumb>".

 

 

Obviously dumb enough to heavy sniper him and his buddy from half a mile away afterwards...

I don't mind since I take it as challenge accepted thing. It's GTA after all.

 

Though I 100% mind if these people, that started it first, get upset when I fought back, name calling, sending hard to read angry messages, voting to kick me out, and false reported me. The GTAO community are what's really wrong with GTAO, regardless of their age. I wonder that even if the Heist comes out, the community would still be rotten.

 

Granted and no denying, I had encountered some great players, did some missions with great randoms that doesn't have the word Rumble in it, and did some activities around the map of San Andreas, not just the middle of the city at Los Santos or Military base only. Though those things are very rare to come by. I highly appreciated and enjoyed some folks here that took advantage of the game from car appreciations to photography, which are excellent.
