Have not played GTA in a while, was considering playing for a bit, but decided against it at the thought of all public sessions being tug wars for the Jets.

 

I said since day 1 the Jet needs a cannon nerf to stop all these scrubs whizzing around & getting easy kills, is it still the same as a few months back or has it gotten progressively worse with more & more people realising that any old noob can kill with the Jet.

 

Also has Rockstar commented on any possible changes to this? Seen as it has basically ruined most freemodes.

Thankfully you get bad sport now for blowing up occupied cars with the jet and they added a Jet icon on the map so everyone can go passive when one goes by.

Lol... Not really jets, just anyone doing some lame sh*t like glitches, or going in passive/ragequitting/job jumping after dying in their jet. Its called manipulated the system, & I don't try, I succeed.

 

It was well known that 4 reports in the same lobby for Hate speech resulted in a ban, usually of 4 weeks depending on if you got in touch with R* through the support page.

Thankfully? No, don't fix a problem by adding another problem. Add a counter measure against jets. A lock-on missile launcher would do the trick. To avoid it being OP, just make it as effective as the jet's missiles, so they're easy to avoid but enough to make the jets try a different approach.

 

inb4 there already is a counter measure against jets. No, a sniper rifle is not a counter measure.

Not sure what game you were playing but it has been Top Gun since January.

 

Hoards of useless pilots jumping in Jets & getting easy kills... Then what happens when you put them in Helis, where the real skill is? They get mollywhopped.

 

& who said I die from them? I don't recall saying that at any point in time... I'm more sick of having to jump in a Jet to take down scrub pilots, I would rather chill & enjoy the game, but it is impossible when they will try and blow you up & then as soon as you head for a Jet to take them out, they'll try & prevent it, then when you kill them they will actively try & get back in the sky.

 

I got sick of it, & that's another reason why I went to Destiny on PS4.

we should join to try to ban a couple assholes...

 

there is one dude that should have been banned like months ago his PsN is CarimboHanky he's such an asshole, always glitching, cheating and griefing people!

 

lets get him banned!

Its really not that hard to avoid being killed by Jet Griefers even before the icon was added. Im mostly on one of my sports bikes so all i gotta do is put alleys and corners where they can't reach me. It's also safe to say that most can't fly worth sh*t and end up taking themselves out before even killing anyone lol.

So it still isn't nerfed enough? I guess whiners will whine. It's free roam... FREE! But of course, just like real life, people don't want freedom. They want protection from their fears rather than trying to overcome. C'mon guys lets see how many 'casuals' we can tend to, even though they have Find a new session, Invite Only session, CREW session and SOLO session.

Jet griefing is so boring, there's no challenge in it and you're pretty much unstoppable as long as you aren't useless.

The reason I want a nerf is so that there wouldn't be any explosive cannons, at least that way it would be more fun using it.

Jet icon is the dumbest addition to the game, including aircraft in general and helicopters. Not one sane person who plays this game would EVER ask for this sh*t.

Jet killing is quite far from being noob, it takes skills to jet troll, and when someone kills me with a jet, when someone killed me with a jet I wasn't even mad, I grab one myself and have a dogfight.

Jets need to be nerfed because you're unstoppable? Not really, If you are a jet pilot you would know numerous ways to escape them and combat them (I.E. Heavy Sniper). If you had Buzzard tier-guns it would take a sh*t ton of time to kill someone with it.
