How unplayable has the game become?

I've experienced some lag here and there but the game is still playable for the most part. I think the only issue I've ran into so far is ending up alone when I started a job with three other people. I have no idea what people are talking about when they say their game freezes, because mine hasn't in a long time now.

I don't have any issues often, just the occasional "couldn't find a match, please return to single player" messages from time to time.

It's deliberate. As the current gen is gonna be released soon their aim is to make the game run as horrible as possible to give the impression that the current gen will resolve these issues due to more powerful hardware.

Every time I expand the map on screen the game in whatever mode I'm in freezes for a moment.

 

It's funny it's got worst now when the current gen versions are coming soon

 

I get that too.

 

We need to remember though, we wouldn't have this game if it wasn't for R and we'd be stuck on Saints Row or some sh*t.. it's still far better then most of what's out there.

I only had major issues online when it was first released, just like everyone else. However, I do sometimes get laggy loading time when I'm doing missions.

the poll is 50/50 so obviously many of us are having issues. Luckily the rest of you are not.

 

I just want to know why half of us are having these issues and the other half are not,.. somethin fishy goin on around here..

for a few days after 1.17 gtao was smooth, the only issue i was having was random "unknown network connection" errors.

but lastnight after an about 4 hour session my console froze.

problem for me is, I tried loading online for 2 hours already, and I still can see the butt of my girl...

everytime I saw the game screen, is f*cking Michael and his god damn family...

huge lag spikes, the game freeze for like 2 seconds everytime someone leave the lobby, freeze for 1 second everytime i check the players list, lots of pop in and ofcourse my new best friend the unknow network error.

 

on the other hand the game seem to be loading faster.

i simply asked who has gameplay issues and who does not and why. You make the thread what you want of it.

 

When i can not get online for 2 hours at a time because of time outs to me thats pretty f*ckin unplayable. I dont know about you but the back of my game clearly says FEATURING GRAND THEFT AUTO ONLINE...which mind you i paid 60 bucks for. Id love to hear how you got your game for free lol
