How unplayable has the game become?

Alot of us have experianced some type of issues while playing this game. Im curious to see how many of us actually have issues .

I personally have to deal with most of these issues on a daily basis and my game is borderline unplayable most of the time. I try to keep my cache and cookies clear but the lag lately is just constant and basically unbearable.

 

Anyone out there who can still play this game without any issues or are we all screwed?

Every time I expand the map on screen the game in whatever mode I'm in freezes for a moment.

 

It's funny it's got worst now when the current gen versions are coming soon

huge lag spikes, the game freeze for like 2 seconds everytime someone leave the lobby, freeze for 1 second everytime i check the players list, lots of pop in and ofcourse my new best friend the unknow network error.

 

on the other hand the game seem to be loading faster.

1 up to 5 seconds freeze for everytime I check on players and expand the map(and I'm used to do that a lot), that's really annoying.
I'm staying out of free roam because of that reason and also the general lag that every players seems to have now..

they are just making the game perform as bad as possible to for people into buying the game again in the new consoles!

Yeah I get mini lockups of 1-3 seconds every time I check the player list or expand my minimap. Unknown network errors still appear but not as much as they used to.

 

I get timed out when attempting to connect to jobs more and more lately however, and the general lag when out and about in the world (or even in my garage) is way worse than ever.

 

Having said that I've played worse. WoW on Ulduar release day and SWToR release make this look pretty good by comparison.

 

Edited to moan that the queueing system is about as useful as tits on a fish. It seems to work whenever the hell it feels like it.

Lots of mini-lockups, increased lag and getting randomly kicked/separated from friends gets old really fast. Also, golf is still glitchy as f*ck. The vehicle physics also seem to be getting weird during certain races lately too, but maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me.

 

Anyway, I've seen MUCH buggier games, so this is not unplayable at all, but at the same time, I've come to expect patches to delete/break just as much as they add/fix.

Ever since 1.16 the games been freezing and hanging up all over the place. It's worst in lobbies with tanks and multiple Jets in the air.

 

I cringe anytime I need to open up any option that involves social club because that freeze my entire system from anywhere from a second to 10. And I have an annoying bug that won't allow me to use primary crew in any shape or form without freezing on loading. My biggest gripe is the freak network errors constantly knocking me back to single player that works flawlessly for me now.

 

Good news is I no longer have problems getting into large lobbies bad new is I can never stay in them more then 45 minutes before error out. I gave up on getting the LTS shirt at this point but at least the missions/jobs are still pretty solid for me.

I have thought this myself. Cause problems intentionally then promise how smooth the game will run on PS4. Basterds!!

 

Just pressing start to look at the map is a 10 second wait period, makes anyone easy bait.

 

Im actually suprised at the amount of votes with people not having any issues....Do these guys have better internet or somesh*t lol whats the trick dam it !!!

 

Ive read a few people say to unlink your social club account and this might stop the time outs but Dont you have to be linked to be able to stay in your crew ???

The game itself is a masterpiece. Best online game for the generation! (I haven't had any freezing issues for months)

I just got bored and playing other games now, at least until they release a decent DLC

I he timed out a lot due to my internet being sh*t and because if the servers, I experience a lot of lag especially from checking who's in the lobby, but I still enjoy playing the game

Clear your cache guys... Sure there are some spikes here snd there but for the most part its fine..

I just pulled an all-nighter and I froze once during Maze Bank Survival. It froze three of us and kicked one. I'm having major lag issues though, especially when killing NPCs. I'm noticing strange behavior in general. Like the boots that come with the Team outfits, if you stand on the helipad at Sandy Shores, the area surrounding the 'H' bleeds into the boots. I no longer get the helicopter headset when I enter the Buzzard.

The game is just a mess but i still find myself playing it. I just have learned to deal with it.

I rarely have any issues, certainly nothing that strikes me as being a problem. The game is far from unplayable.

The frame rate in general became slower in 1.16 and worse again in 1.17. They are adding too much useless code.

I honestly don't know what you guys are on about, the game has only ever frozen once, and i'm sure that's because the console over heated as the vent on top of my xbox was covered by a massive text book, the loading times are fine, i can wait 2 minuets no problem and i don't recall ever getting a time out error on any thing other an an event playlist which i start from the loading screen.
I honestly don't know what ya'll are on about.
