NOTORIOUS Rooftop Rumble

Hey everyone, it's being awhile! Hope everyone's going pre sweet.

 

Jumped on today and joined a round of roofie rumble and wow oh wow..

 

The first glitch happened when I was in a helicopter flying above the combat location, what was it? A notification telling me all lives had been lost. I was a bit shocked but I knew the game had glitches so I opted to restart. The next four times the round would end just after starting and it would say the document had been destroyed, funnily enough no one was actually in combat during the times these end round notifications came up. After about the sixth glitch and the second "No lives left" whilst I, and I assume everyone else were still alive I opted not to restart the round.

 

Anyone else having absurd glitches on RR?

Heh, it's as if Rockstar wants to break their own mission. I know people used to to grind it, but is Rockstar still upset over that?

Haven't played GTA really since they patched it. From what I've seen in the last day it's a lot easier to grind money nowadays anyway lol. I also see survivals a lot easier and FINALLY pays enough for you to comfortably cover your ammo costs.

Haven't played GTA really since they patched it. From what I've seen in the last day it's a lot easier to grind money nowadays anyway lol. I also see survivals a lot easier and FINALLY pays enough for you to comfortably cover your ammo costs.

 

You don't even need to spend a lot to buy ammo after a survival, anyway. You get a sh*tton of ammo just by picking up dropped weapons.

^ Not if you have your guns ammo maxxed out. You stop picking ammo after having arond 2000 bullets with a maxxed gun skill.

It's crazy but a lot of people still play it, quick jobs land me there about half the time. I run into those glitches here and there. Especially annoying since the mission really isn't worth the trouble anymore.

Spent a lot of time in game this weekend due to the crate drops and gotta say, the majority of times I got an invite from other players it seemed to be RR.

Either you already have all the weapons or its f*cked, I cant pick up any weapons if I already have them, hope that makes sense

Been that way for months if your ammo amounts are above a certain level.

I have more problem not having the coke to spawn in LSC.

Easy solo mission, multiple people increase the odds of screwing it up, like any mission.

You know that you can deliver the briefcase as soon as you can and do other missions and get more money, Don't you?

Sometimes I'll just run over the tard who takes the case 0.007ms after it spawns and drive all the way to the drop-off point and back.

Do they not know that speed-running the case to Martin's only nets you 6-9k?

The mission that Rockstar got no balls to remove and then add craps in it?

 

RR used to be Rooftop Rumble, but I think they should change the name into 'Rapey Rockstar'.

 

I honestly pity new players or at least players who do missions seriously only to get non-sense mission failed screen from Rockstar, yet they have no clue what's their mistake. It's like 10 year old kids entered a Free Candy van only to get raped by pedobears, and they don't have any clue why.

Maybe not. It's certainly not intuitive to people that the longer a mission takes, the more rewarding it will be. We know because we follow Rockstar's every update, but new players may just think doing as many missions as fast as possible is the best way to maximize payout, which it probably should be.

Simeon and Martin must have mated for the glitch I had. Got an invite for Holed up and Gentry does it I think. Joined Holed up and no markers on the radar. Then I saw that the apartments had been dropped, and then the host had picked up apartments, then delivered apartments to complete the mission.

 

Oh, the apartments was a Banshee lol.

You don't pick up ammo after 2k bullets I'm pre sure. It's a lot cheaper then it used to be so I think R's tinkered with the prices. Back in the day after doing a survival I was looking at maybe a few k with ammo, now it's only 1k with 30k on top which is lovely.

 

They must have made survivals way easier also as there's next to no difficulty in them anymore.

I love doing this, I somehow managed to stay in 4 missions and get about 30k or so, before they ended up doing a race. I won the race, but I was too scared to bet on myself.
