Well I'm unaware of how many people know about this, but me and my friend GaySasquatch had loads of fun with this today. At the Del Perro pier, go to the roller coaster and walk against the carts and let it happen. Your character will try and get up and just ragdoll for a bit. As you can see in my pic I obviously did it. Lol! The right side of the coaster keeps you ragdoll longer. Just a warning.

 

So go have fun with it and have a friend take a pic (you WILL nneed a friend for this) and share it here!

My friend bumped my ass with his car, then my character was dropping like has no muscle or something. And then when it's getting up, I fell again like the muscle stop working. This repeated so many times.

I wish we had the ability to ragdoll onto NPCs/Players in Online like we can in Single player

Ragdolling on the freeway is a favourite hobby of mine. If you walk into the traffic those trucks will kill you, but ragdolling can usually get away with two impacts. Its great when they all pile up and you just walk away.. Another good one is to call 911 and get the cops to come and then ragdoll into someone so they get angry and let the cops kill them.

I got a baller once and smashed up to hell on the train, I then finally got into the train with the car. I wanted to take a picture of me with the car, but I couldn't. So I decided to go back into the car, but I installed ragdolled under the car and began to somewhat hump it. After that I died

You're full of sh*t. I suppose you never experienced Niko going into an indefinite stagger after stepping off a curb? Or how about when the car you're trying to steal drove off and your character would spend the next 10 minutes staggering down the street until you bumped into someone?

IV's ragdoll was pure sh*t. NPCs would over-exagerate almost everything, hell if you killed them near a railing they would try to go over it just to fail and automaticly die or when killing them in a chair their body would spazz out.

That's your opinion though... Let me guess? V was your FIRST GTA?

 

As for NPCs... They are more "alive" in IV than V. And that's a FACT! KIFFLOM!

 

All NPCs do in the city of Los Santos is eat a donut, drink coffee, talk/text on their phones and that's it. Pretty boring atmosphere.

No. GTA V wasn't my first GTA, also don't act with that air of superiority as if playing eirlier GTAs makes you any better as a human being than me.

 

NPCs in IV felt a lot more robotic, didn't really do much apart from maybe buying a hotdog (OMFG HES BUYING A HOTDOG AI BETTER THAN IV OMGZZRR), they almost never talked, most of their 1 liners were stale and unfunny. If GTA V feels like a lifeless movie set, the IV feels like one of those goverment made bad CGs that show supposed everyday life which makes it look like the only thing they are capable of doing really is buying a hotdog and probably hold a newspaper with one hand.

This happens to me a lot, like once during a mission, it seemed as if my character was boneless. Had to wait a minute (exaggeration) to get up. -_-

I was in Sandy Shores or Blaine County, it's a construction site, I managed to land my bike on those elevator ramp things, my characte would stand and fall repeatly. No time for a snapmatic.

GTA IV had a softer more comfortable gameplay. Hopefully this feeling returns for the current gens.

I've been going back to IV coincidentally, and i have to say that shooting people in that game is way too much fun, they go everywhere and its great, and it seems more realistic. Also when they get shot in the head it feels 10x more satisfying, especially if they're running at you.

 

Also bailing out of your car in IV is god tier, that s**t is hilarious. In V its meh at best.

 

I've always been a huge fan of IV though, so take my word with a salt wheel.

But yeah, the ragdoll in V is too much. It's really like a soulless doll.

 

And it's quite annoying when the character have to make a faceplant when falling as if they slipped over..

Personally, I find ragdolling to be a real pain in the butt. No, really. I do.
