I submitted a ticket on it. It wasn't intentional, and it's a bug that came with the update. They will most likely fix it some time during the week.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that next gen will have a lot more options for paint (at the very least) for cars. It was never meant to work this way in current gen. Basically they are taking our toys away to make us go next gen to get our toys back. Yes I know, crude analogy, but it makes sense to me.

If the community doesn't make a stand against R* then they'll just keep patching them one by one. I think there's plenty of people how know these Snapmatic tricks, especially that gtaphotographers crew.

 

Remember how the community got their Ratloaders and bike physics back? it sure wasn't one person doing the job it was plenty of people complaining sending feedback to R*.

I got a less crude one..

 

Chick wants dude in the other room, so she gives him her cootchi, takes it back... Then goes into the other room and advertises her cootchi. Resulting in dude rushing to the other room faster then sh*t off a shovel!

 

Ok it was potentially cruder, but gets to same point.

 

A white console Destiny bundle worked for me... No cootchi involved

Thing is that they stated that non-harmful glitches would stay, and I don't think custom paints were harmful for anyone (except for some cars. They're f*cking eyesores).

OT: I remember them saying that they wouldn't fix harmless glitches...then the next update they began to take away the ability to easily wear helm's, hats, glasses, and masks all at the same time. (Though I could see why that could be "harmful" increasing the polycount of a character to proportions that are not accounted for...or something.)

 

If they gave a good reason as to why these "harmless" glitches became a problem for the game (not bull sh*t reasons either) I would be a little more understanding. But we all know how R* is about giving us information on what we want to know about.

Quoted from Spring Updates article:

"we are open to keeping unintended glitches in the game if players enjoy them and they aren't causing any negative impact to gameplay or fairness in any way."

They never said they wouldn't patch harmless glitches.
