Happened to me few times. Are you on PS3 by the way? I'm never certain whether it's my internet, Rockstar servers or PSN just being silly because I DC a lot in this game.

Im on PS3, can't acces GTAO at all.

PSN. every game i play is fine but on GTAO i get network error so often its annoying hopefully ps4 version wont have any problems

R* trolled me MANY times, lets start out with when i try to do that new 'event' it takes me to the sky view for 20 minutes and finally decides "Oh its not working, lets kick you back to Single Player." And i have to RESTART the playlist all over -_-

I never played any online multiplayer game that gives me long loading and then give me what I didn't ask or even disconnection in the end.

 

They're so innovative in design to implement something limited and ineffective, so maybe they're using USB drive covered by frying pans as server.
