Would seatbelts be a good addition?

For some of the really bad drivers i've witnessed in Los Santos runnings into trees & such, especially those under my heil of micro smg stingers....yes. For their safe-tee ofcourse.

What I want to see is an ejection seat which would launch you high enough to use a chute. Combined with a timed explosive option you can add to any car as long as you got a sticky. Better than adding a seat belt.

You're just going to add a couple seconds each time you get in and out a car. After a while it would be nothing far from annoying, especially if you're trying to make a getaway or chase someone and hopping in your car.

Seatbelts would be super sexy, but only if they implemented draw backs to having one and not having one.

Players receive a wanted level if they drive without their seatbelt on.

 

On a serious note, it doesn't matter as players cannot burst through windshields upon heavy impact. It only affects single player. It would take longer for players to get in and out of their vehicles in crucial moments.

 

For single player, sure. Add it for that small detail.

Why have so many people voted no? It could just be like putting on a helmet, if you hit the drive button it interrupts the animation or the animation doesn't start at all.

A seat belt option sounds logical and is a good idea, as is window wipers and turn signals.

But id scrap ALL of it for a separate brake and reverse button when driving vehicles (especially for

4×4s).

The damage to the player from crashing is incredibly minimal. Seat belts would be useless. I highly doubt a criminal gives a crap about wearing his seat belt.

 

I'm all for extra stuff in the game, but seat belts seem like more trouble than they are worth.

 

Oh yeah, windshield wipers would be cool though, but that's just a visual.

I think for most people it's just annoying getting thrown out, when it could easily fixed.

 

I understand it looks hella cool to get thrown out, but it's a useless/annoying feature.

 

I'm not saying it's gotta be made into a bid deal, just if you sit in the car for an extra second before taking off, you put on a seat belt... If you jump in the car and just take off, then no seat belt.. most people wouldn't even notice if this was added, and that's a good thing.

I hate getting cut and bruises on my face even though his face never comes in contact with the steering wheel I would love a seatbelt option if it prevented u getting all bloody and bruised
