Since 1.17 pegasus will repo ur transport if left somewhere. I used to enjoy landing\stashing Vestra and coming back to it later.

 

Does this impact ur playings style when it comes to pegasus transports or not really? You like this new "update" or not?

nope. actually makes it better when I order the wrong sh*t I can have it despawn and reorder correct vehicle

I like it better. Because if your near LSI, call a Vestra and it spawns in Sandy Shores, you can recall it in just minutes.

I think its a great addition honestly. Simply because I own every peggy vehicle and call up the wrong one all the time. It really bugs me. But I do think they should increase the distance you have to be before the timer starts till it despawns. I was like a hundred yards away from my Buzzard and it despawned -_-

well i tested this feature today and the thing never got repoed.

 

later i did this...

 

-called for my buzzard.

-land the thing on top of maze bank.

-jumped and drove far fro the heli.

-10-15minutes later it still there.

-called pegasus.

-received the "we have already delivered that vehicle" message.

-seconds later it got repo.

 

they should really just make it that you call pegasus and they repo the thing.

 

lets say im in my tank and now i want my buzzard, i call pegasus, tell them to repo the tank, i immediately lose access to the tank and can go on to call for my buzzard.

 

thats how this system should work.

it's honestly a stupid feature

even though people usually dont go far from their pegasus vehicles, occasionally they may hide them somewhere/leave for later use

That last part is a glitch, was already happening and hasn't been fixed. Drives me nuts! But at least it doesn't seem to happen during missions.

I'm amazed that R* haven't considered this as an option. We paid for the vehicles, yet we have basically no control over them what-so-ever.

Agreed. Calling Pegasus again should bring up a prompt like 'This will get rid of your current vehicle. Do you wish to continue?'.

This should be done by choice - not at random.

Yup this haswritten all over it.

I had a plane out the other day and i left my Monster Truck in Sandy Shores and i went back into the city and 10 minutes later i tried to call for my Buzzard but it told me i couldn't since i already had a vehicle out

This will screw up my solo-run of missions where you steal a Cargobob from Ft Zancudo.

 

My method is call Buzzard, fly it to swamp below Air Base and land it, call mechanic to get a PV, use PV to break into Base, steal Cargobob and quickly land it in swamp next to Buzzard. Use Buzzard to shake cops and fly back to Cargobob. This method is foolproof and has yet to fail.

 

Gonna annoy the crap out of me if my Buzzard despawns. I hate shooting my way out of the swamp on foot with four stars.

So, were you in that vehicle at the time, if not, How Long were you out of it? Did you have a friend or crewmate driving it with or without you inside it?

 

Heres an example, earlier today my crew leader flew us in a Vestra to the fort, he jumped out and got a Lazer while I now flew the Vestra. When Pegasus called him, I then had him order a MilJet for me to fly around in. Landed at Sandy, jumped in MilJet, when he got the next call he ordered a Besra for his brother. I of course am still flying the MilJet. Now, as you can see, VERY EASY. Get Friends!

Thats my gripe, as you and some others mentioned we should have the choice. Evenings if we had the choice once landed to call pegasus too "keep ur funky hands off" then plane icon goes from yellow to white. (Whats with the yelllow anyhow?)

 

Created a tkt with R* support on this, but u know. Thanks for the feed back all...will link this if i hear back from R* as there is some decent fix or tweek suggestions.

I used to.leave tanks in barns and jets in beaches for later, or a chopper in my front yard. So its stupid ftom my point of view. It would have been much smarter to just have a menu button to recall it. All this timed recall does is make the pegasus stuff fell less like you own it than ever before.

Much easier way to ditch the cops. Just hover above the south end of the airfield, a decent way up. Position on the edge and no helis will spawn, and the soliders can't see you. Easy peasy.

It's the dumbest way to impliment a recall so you can call for another vehicle.

 

They should've made it so when nobody's in the vehicle you can call Pegasus for something else, making the present vehicle vanish / inoperable.

Oh, I prefer the challenge of the handoff - done quickly enough, they never see you. I kind of have a "ruthless efficiency" theme going when I solo. I like to execute elaborate plans and get away unscathed - but it includes 'no glitching' rule. Personal choice, tho - no judgement here.
