DaCosta
it will be practically the same game. just better graphics, more ai, new animals, and new cars. and maybe a few new features. Not worth spending another $60. Yep more than likely that's exactly what Onlinestar will do. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they also cancelled the SP DLC and moved all its content to the Online! Hmm... I get the feeling you are not a big fan of GTA: Online! ...Anyway, didn't you know that it all went wrong with GTA 3? ...GTA is a 2D Franchise to its roots!!! Konstelation
You can totally tell how the first GTA trailer is the one they were working on for next gen... it's just so much crisper, cleaner... That sun beach, the people interaction is a lot better then last gen. It just had so much work to be done, it doesn't look polished... and I was excited about the first trailer the most. FATMANYOU2
In my opinion I can never say I hate GTA V, Rockstar is the best in open world gaming. I can say that GTA V felt empty at times and was very routinely for spawning same thing over and over. This game and is beautiful, next gen it's going to be even better in my opinion. I know that a lot of things that were not added or taken away was because of space and power. I believe Rockstar has more to work with now and limitation are in the pass. RememberToTaper
Playing the new The Last of Us on PS4 made me appreciate the texture work and sharper 1080p resolution. I can actually see the details that the artists were trying to put into the game. The PS3 version was just too blurry and jaggedy. With NG GTA V, I'll be soaking in the sights more slowly as well. I think the areas with the forests will be fun to stroll around now with the tall grass. And many Snapamatic photos with the NG version will almost look photorealistic (they kind of already do with the last gen versions). BlackNoise
Story was always the icing for me with GTA, so even though I had problems with GTA V's story, I still ended up giving the game an 8. I care about storytelling in games, but I honestly don't buy GTA because of story. I buy it because it's an huge open world where I can do what I want. All that open world stuff took a hit with last gen, because of limitations. The visual upgrades, better AI, more and better animals, and all the DLC up to this point + what comes later, will help my opinion of the game. For example, I didn't hunt at all on PS3. The animals and wilderness was just depressing. Just simple stuff like that will add depth to the game for me. I'll see how I feel about story once I finally give it a second playthrough. It took a couple for me to really figure out how I felt about IV, so I should be fair to V. I had expectations, but now I'm just open and excited to play again. GourangaMaster
I enjoy GTA V on my ps3 and its impossible to say if or how that will change until i actually play the updated version. I don't form my opinion based on assumptions, speculation or expectations but on first hand experience. An uninformed opinion is a meaningless one imo. Shane_Dbns
You can watch the newly added Grass at an amazing 30 frames per second. This game is going to be a technological marvel /sarcasm. My opinion will not change. Its still going to be the same dumb downed game which was made for COD/ADHD kids, just with prettier graphics. theworldfamous
I always expected a next gen version so it won't change in that regard. What I've seen in the trailer looks better than I expected. More like a fully next gen title than a remaster, so that's great.
simonp92
The gameplay of GTA V is mostly exellent. My problem lies with the bad characters and mediocre plot. Next gen is not gonna fix that. Edited October 7, 2014 by simonp92 Algonquin Assassin and theGTAking101
CarlitoDorito
Can people who don't like the story or characters still have fun on the game? or do the things you dislike ruin it completely?

PhillBellic
I share similar thoughts with A.O.D.88, Sting4S, and the like. I have posted this quite frequently but if they can overhaul/correct the Emergency Vehicle liveries that might heal some of the damage. Yes, correct liveries matter for me. Cheers. Osho
Depends on what they reveal, and are the changes. I'm not thinking about the game, at all. I mean, the interest is already dead. I've left this over time and decide it later. No wishlist, No expectations, No hopes. Just the 'wait and watch' stance.

Kampret
My opinion will change, that's for sure. But, it'll never change my opinion on how underdeveloped story and stupid driving it has. Unless, they add a IV driving option. Sharing the same thought with Sting4S.
PoeticWhisper
Will my opinion change? Probably, the game will look and probably feel a lot better. I already love the game and it's one of, if not my favorite GTA ever. GTA V is still a masterpiece to me and it'll only be better on my Xbox One. That said the only thing I wish for is the blood to be higher res, which isn't really something that isn't possible. dirtyunclechris
I'm really hoping that the online version of this game will feel more lively with everything they are adding, especially with the increased number of players. The multiplayer on the 360 version felt stale.
BlackNoise
How are we supposed to know how our opinion of the game will change if it hasn't even come to next gen yet? It just depends on your opinion of GTA V last gen. If you're like simonp92, and your problems were plot related, then next gen won't fix your problems. If your problem was a lack of orcas, then you already know the newer versions will fix that.
Kamyu03
Not too much. I think EAstar will just upgrade the graphics and add some cut content from last gen but that's it. GTA V was a disappointing for me, and never bought that 'console limitation' thing as it seems to me that it's just a lame excuse made up by fanboys to try and justify the flaws and the game. spongeboob911
Being that GTA is all about cars - personally - I would LOVE it if they were to implement more varieties in modifying cars. Albeit, the majority of people might consider weapons, gameplay, graphics, etc are far more important. I mean, I would certainly wouldn't mind if they were to maintain the number of wildlife in the ocean from LG to make room for modifications. And no, I rather not play Midnight Club, I'd rather play GTA. Edited October 9, 2014 by spongeboob911
