zuckmeslow
i love the gta 4 version of flushing meadows park. every time i pass by the park in real life it brings me back to my days standing on top of the observation towers sniping people in the game. unfortunately the towers themselves in real life are abandoned and rotting LiniArc, GTA-Biker and Payne Killer

HoleInTheSky
Sandy Shores. Despite it being overshadowed by a huge-ass mountain, the town itself feels very isolated, the lack of traffic is enhancing. The abandoned trailers, rundown buildings, hostile residents; it's the one part of GTA V's map that does have a story to tell. Also striking how similar the place is to its real life counterpart. Billy Grey
Alderney State Correctional Facility I would've chosen Del Pierro Pier from V but it's boring. All NPCs do is walk around talking and texting on their cellphones. No NPCs ride the Ferris Wheel of Roller Coaster, only your playable character can. Probably because of console limitations. I would've loved seeing NPCs play the arcade game on the boardwalk and do other stuff. Edited October 5, 2014 by Billy Grey
Kalerney
GTA 2 : I really like the second part of the town, I think it's the Residential District, especially the RV Park area (which feels fresh and almost like countryside). Liberty City (3D era) : I appreciate the Belleville Park, but there's three places I like above everywhere else in L.C. First, the desolated area from Portland Beach to the abandoned railway next to the car dealer. I like to go there in order to feel secluded ... There's nobody, nothing, just some vague noises that seem to come from miles away. The second is the accessible part of the mountain range covering the whole north part of the map, for the same reason. Last but not least : the ghost town. Never a place in the GTA history contained so much mystery and was as hard to reach. Technically it's not L.C., but I still like to go there with a Dodo. Vice City : Honestly, I'd say I love about 90-95 % of the city, but Ocean Beach and Starfish Island definitely have special places in my gamer hearth. The atmosphere there is stunning. (I also love places from where we can see Downtown skyline in the distance). San Andreas : The whole Las Venturas, by far my favorite city in the game. Otherwise Bayside and Dilimore, I appreciate these small towns, then the Back O Beyond - Shady Creek/Shady Cabin area for its breathtaking ambiance. L.C. (IV) : I kinda like Bohan, but I love the Southern Algonquin area (Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower Easton etc ...) that I found far more interesting than the central/nothern part of the borough. Nothern Alderney is rather interesting too. Los Santos (V) : In Los Santos, I love the Vespucci, Vespucci Beach, Vespucci Canals area, especially when the sky is perfectly blue with no clouds ... Out of the city limit, my favorite places are : Grapeseed; Mount Gordo; Chiliad State Wilderness and Raton Canyon. Billy Grey
How do you all make your images show up on here on-screen? I'm on an iPad. I was gonna mention Leaf Links Golf Club from Vice City. Nothing better than running over old retirees in a golf caddy and beating them to death with a golf club. "FOUR!" Kalerney and Onett
Kalerney
@CR7 : Thank you ! Las Venturas HAS to be the setting for the next GTA ... Just imagine it with the technical power of the One and the PS4 : breathtaking graphics, stunning interior (I think I would cry of happiness if we would be able to visit the interior of the Luxor/The Camel Toe), tons of weird NPCs, incredible in game rendition of the Fremont Street Experience etc etc ... Fremont St Experience Stop working on that sh*tty GTA Online and go create GTA VI : Las Venturas Nights R* North ! Also, a better surrounding desert (not the half-assed one from V) could circle Las Venturas in the outskirts of town. The Sherman Dam (Hoover Dam spoof) could be in the outskirts of town as well. Nothern Alderney is rather interesting too. I know isn't usally allowed to quote a picture, but I need to say...wow. This is the only picture ever from GTA IV that feels like gta III... it just gave me the same vibe! How it is possible the rest of the game isn't like this? Maybe it's the light, the angle, the shadows, the smaller and cleaner road... I wish the whole game was like that. About places: Leone mansion - maybe the one in the picture is not the best angle but the place is just wonderfull, a dangerous yet peaceful place Fort staunton - GTA LCS - again, not the best picture here but the place (before becaming a hole in the ground) had more buildings in LCS like an opera house, and is a great surprise... such a nice little place Vice city - ocean view hotel, expecially at night. Bonus place i like Liberty city, Interglobal films Edited October 5, 2014 by thatstupidbug na89340qv0n34b09q340, LiniArc and Kalerney

Kalerney
^It's a map editor rendition. You can easily obtain such a render for any district you want, providing you own the GTA on your computer and the map editor of course.
