I'm so sick of being in the middle of a god damn firefight only to press the sticks too hard and start air thrusting. Seriously, why is it so easy to start a three second animation you can't get out of?

Happened to me many times. Not very fun in the middle of a DM. Your trying to kill someone and my character seems to think having a quick ciggie is the answer.

The fix is = Go to Interaction menu > Quickaction > None

Just found that out recently. Life saver.

Maybe it set it to 'None' so you wont do anything if you press it

Nothing worse than attempting to quickly switch to auto shotgun and then finding yourself giving the opponent a small clap instead and finding yourself wasted.. ... gah...

You need to calm down if you begin the quick actions.Nobody presses the sticks that hard when playing (Unless you are raging,if so,put the game away).Or you know,get a new controller.

As others have said, switch the action to "None". I never had this problem though.

Same thing happens to me with Stealth. I press the buttons way to hard and it activates stealth mode. It's got nothing to do with rage or being retarded. It happens and has happened to people.

It used to happen to me until I began choosing NONE as my On Foot Action.

Doesn't happen anymore.

with over 1100 hours player, i dont remember ever a accidental press of the thumbsticks.

This is a problem people have? Seriously, be more gentle with your controller and this won't happen. This hasn't happened to me ever and I've been playing since launch.

This used to happen to me when I played with the stock PS3 controller. I've since moved on to using my Xbox One controller with an adapter. No problems anymore.

 

Maybe buy a new controller.

I love taunting too so no, don't take it out.

Happens to me once in a while (PS3), either I'll honk my horn by mistake taking a sharp corner or drop my landing gear when flying a plane and banking hard. I think when the stick is "hard over" it makes it easier to click the L3/R3 buttons when you don't intend to.

damn, my controller is so stiff i have trouble using the animation when i want it to work not the other way around.

 

and people who honk while taking turns, you can't handle a controller, you're just like my mom or my friends who don't have a console.

 

you're the reason controllers cost as much as a game, sony and ms love all the extra income you provide.
