Lol, I made a suggestion on the Support Forums about adding a 'Job Preview' and the morons deleted it.

 

On Call is pure garbage just for that reason alone. I need to see what I am gonna be enduring, you stupid f*cks, how am I gonna know if I'm joining RR? Because, y'know that's 99% of Contact Missions.

 

Also, they lied about the 'On Call' cancel option.

Its so that you can play in freemode while you get in a job lobby. It's a good idea, but its stupid that you dont even know what you are joining. They should put something on the phone when you go on call so it says "Joined race - Downtown Underground" so you at least know what you are joining.

I use it for missions pretty much all the time after I finally figured out you can only access it from the phone, no joking it took me like 3 months to find the oncall button. It's useless for races because 90% of the time it'll be some crap race around the sky or on crazy jumps.

Don't really care for it since 3/4 of the time it's the $1,00000000rp crap matches. But what really sucks is when you land in a on call host.

 

If rock star allows us too filter content it will be a great tool.

want to read a funny story about the "on call" feature? ok...

 

this past friday i was in freeroam doing my thing, i when to the kitchen to get some juice, when i come back, my 4yo kid had the controller, i take the controller and keep up with my thing.

 

im in a lobby with other 5 people, im about to switch when iut of nowhere the "special crate drop inbound" notification pop up, the green circle appeared just a couple blocks away from my location. the crate dropped im very happy heading to the crate drop, killed like 5 goons and im about to pick up the crate, when all of the sudden... *baam* im get pulled away into a parachute lobby.

 

as you may know the parachute lobbies are used to teleport around the map, so i quit the parachute thing, i have been teleported all the way to the top of chilliad, minutes later i read a sad notification "xxXXyoloswagsqueakerXXxx picked up the special crate"

 

somehow my kid put me on call for the parachute thing and i just didnt notice the on call timer in the screen.
