Any working glitch for the special crates?

seriously, im fed up with the crates not dropping. spent all of both today and yesterday hunting down those dumb crates and not a SINGLE special crate dropped for me. i hate how we only have 3 days to get this p.o.s., and they wont even work properly.

Are you certain that you have them unlocked?

 

I was fortunate enough to have one spawn in an Invite-Only Session. Many seem to be having luck there too.

tried BOTH public mode and invite only, to no avail. i even had one of my friends in a separate session, just in case a crate dropped, but the session would always be full. yes i have them unlocked lol.

No glitch but you can either keep joining random public lobbies or host an invite only one and wait an hour or two.. it worked for plenty of people but you have to be very patient. You still have about 23 hours from this post so might as well try it

 

Go watch TV in your apartment and go do something that will pass time by (you won't get kicked for inactivity I believe)

i was in invite only for 4 straight hours. it didnt drop. in fact, none of the random events (armored truck, simeon HPV, etc.) occurred.

Make sure you complete all activities like simeon high priority vehicle or armoured trucks then wait .

Wouldn't it work to wait in a lobby for one to drop then activate a lag switch causing the lobby to empty so you're the only one left to collect the crate?

The whole of update 1.17 is a freakin glitch.

The problem is that even in public lobbies people aren't getting the notification after playing for hours either. I haven't gotten a single special crate message after spending a good amount of time in public lobbies.
