f*ck that. You forgot to mention the most important thing. The real problem is that you are exposed and helpless while consuming a snack etc. You can't run and can't pull a weapon. This is the most annoying thing about it.

Makes me want to scream at my character "Put the f*ckin snack away you f*ckin lazy idiot and get in the f*ckin car quick/run/pull the f*ckin gun!"

I've actually had the opposite happen, my snacks actually increase when I spawn during the animation of my character eating one. I stop by the store at the beginning and end of my sessions to make sure I'm full, but I've spawned eating one and looked at my inventory to check if it dropped. When I did, 17 meteorites, when you can only carry 15 anyway. I've had 31 Ps & Qs before too, maybe I'm just lucky

People glitching and modding, forum wants R* to fix characters that eat in their spare time while we don't control them.

We here at GtaForums tackle the real issues! Tune in at 5 to know what we think about bullets: should we be able to use those in our chest or are they still owned by the guy that shot us? Back to you, Tom!

You can get more snacks at a convenience store, but having to drive to one and specifically collect them and find they almost always run out of Ps & Qs is NOT what I would call convenient!

Especially as you can replenish your ammunition without ever having to visit an ammu-nation, simply host a mission and buy all the ammo you want, the menu selection system there is even quicker than the one in ammu-nation, plus you can't accidentally buy a weapon you don't want!

Every time I spawn in since the patch, I'm eating a snack, which then gets taken out of my inventory.

#1 - I will decide when to use my consumables, thank you very f*cking much, R*.

#2 - this is the saddest money sink I've ever seen in any game ever. Snacks cost basically nothing. The only thing this achieves is I find myself short of snacks when I need them. Or completely out, as was the case the last time.

Meanwhile I have hundreds of smokes that will take me about half an hour to drop all of, because for some reason I can throw away a pile of guns in one spot but a cigarette can't be within 5 feet of another cigarette.

TL;DR? Your consumables are screwed up, R* - please make them less irritating.

This has always happened. Sort it by spawning in your garage or apartment. Keep your snacks full and you'll not notice 1 missing unless you're overly dependant on them. If you are overly dependant, I suggest chaning your play style in battles so you take less damage.

But seriously, crying over a $1 snack? Really? Punch the closest NPC and you'll more than make up for your $1 loss and they often drop snacks that you can pick-up if your health abr is not full.

/thread.

Yes, it's true. With each new patch for every one thing they fix (of which the vast majority of players have never experienced NOR heard of), they break several other things. Apparently that is the idea to live by in their dev team.

One door closes, several more open.

Well they closed more than "1 door" so multiply that amount by 7 and you'll have the amount of doors that have been "opened"

the worst is landing after jumping from a plane or heli, because the f*cking idiot takes a long-ass time taking his/her parachute off and you can't run while doing so

The problem has kind of existed since launch, but it's more pronounced now, as since the most recent patch, even if you exit while in your car, when you return you will be out of your car for no reason eating some P&Q's/Etc.

Is anyone willing to test this? I know, as some have already said, that I'll sometimes spawn in with a cigarette. Other times it might be a snack or soda. It might have something to do with the last item you consumed.

I used to use the cigarettes a lot, and at the time, I spawned in with cigarettes. Now I make a lot of use of snacks, and it has since changed to spawning in with those items instead. I've even spawned in drinking beers. There has to be something that triggers the choice. And if so, set it to cigarettes, having snacks on hand is more important.

I just want to be able to not pick up cigs and beer...while I consume both IRL, I don't want consumable slots taken by something my virtual character never uses.

Spawning in lobbies eating, drinking, or smoking has always been in the game since day one. It always has been, and will be annoying as hell

Yeah, that was the first thing that annoyed me about it, till I noted it was my actual stuff that it was using. The 'helpless' thing is less of an issue for me as I'm rarely in public sessions.

For the record, I've done some testing - it's every time you spawn in to the world (not apts/garages, but every world spawn, including after missions).

Also seems to target Meteorite bars. I'm out now so I'll come back with whether or not it just moves on to the Ego Chasers.

I've only recently started spawning at "Last Location", so that might be why I never noticed before.

Well, I never checked Inventory back in the day, and didn't really use snacks.

The Byzantine Empire

Our pixel characters should enjoy their life, with eating meal, smoking and other human being sh*t. lol

I usually get killed when I was eating snack, because of bad spawn points and can't able to pull my weapon out. Apart from it is not a serious problem.

If your character spends too much time in a vehicle and not doing much walking / running / swimming / bicycling and they eat snacks then they should put on weight and be slower at running and have to stop every so often to catch their breath.

Just imagine doing missions when your character is severely overweight and all your teammates run off and leave you behind :D

Same thing when we're in a gun fight during mission or DM, we can't strafe when there's a little ledge next to us. So we have to stop aiming and let our character slowly step one of their legs onto the ledge and then the other leg goes up.

Seriously, that robotic animation has to be removed! I have been killed for so many times because of this "ledge-step-up" animation.

I've noticed this too. It could happen before 1.17 though if you set spawn in last location and we're on foot, but since 1.17 I have noticed it happening despite having my spawn location as my apartment.

I really noticed it at an odd time though. Pretty sure it was spawning back into the session after running a mission (it hadn't used health either, it had been an easy Simeon job).

Very annoying.

i been saying this since online was a day old

nothing more than a money scam to sell more cash cards.

1- drive your car out of your garage, it hits the garage door so it's damaged.

2- traffic moves from left to right as if they are aiming to hit you, more damage to be fixed.

3- drive to lcs to buy some new wheels? have to repair the damage first.

4- put a metalic paint on your car but forgot the pearlescent, needs new metalic paint first.

5- items you bought and aplied with crew eblem, need to buy the emblem again after changing.

and there's a sh*tload more of these little money scams troughout this game

i realise it sounds like small change and nickles and dimes

but given the fact that millions of people play you can imagine

how much gta$ flows back to *R :)

I've noticed this happening when I spawn back in from doing a job and setting my spawn point to my apartment does nothing to prevent this. Going to the store and buying snacks isn't a big deal for me nor does it do any significant damage to my Houser Brothers Fun Bucks account, but it does get old having to break the animation and lose the full healing from that snack.

I agree with the cigarettes, there have been only two times in games I've played that I have voluntarily made a character smoke: Metal Gear Solid (forgot to grab the damn thermal goggles) and The Wolf Among Us, where you can ignore a "no smoking sign" and keep smoking.

Kind of funny that your avatar is smoking

This is the dumbest sh*t I have ever heard in my GTA life.

  1. Only happens in ONE apartment. I always get my SandKing out of the garage multiple times and its never damaged, except in ONE apartment.
  2. Bullsh*t. Only in missions, and rarely when you're driving too fast.
  3. How about you stop crashing left and right first?
  4. Just to show that your theory is 100% broken. When you buy a Metallic paintjob, you can freely select what pearl you want without re-equipping whatever paint you wanted. This only happens when you use the Pearl on Any Paint Form glitch.
  5. Actually, the next time you equip the Crew Emblem on your clothes, its free. At least for me. Same goes with Crew Emblem on vehicles.

Your logic is so-f*cking-flawed.

and then there is the forced music score during missions. Id rather listen to kenny loggins and the doobie brothers than some eerie tune made for a "I tried to be a movie but failed" videogame

speaking of music, who turns off the radios in my apartments since the last couple patches? and where are my garage animations? in the bin with the mechanic?

I do like that I can run with the weapon wheel open now, must be new

Spawn in apartment : Problem solved.

It's five dollars, not like he puts on armor or anything. Really..you're annoyed by five dollars that can easily be regained by mugging a pedestrian?

It doesn't really bother me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My character has only done it once and the price for a "candybar" is very cheap so it doesn't effect you much

I've noticed this too. The thing with 31 Ps&Qs depends on whether you have an even or odd number of Ps&Qs when purchasing more. When you buy one, you're actually buying two, and the limit is 5 per store (so you're really buying 10). If you're at 28 when you buy the final time, you hit 30 and that's it. If you're at 29, you'll still buy two and end up with 31. Pretty sure this works with every snack.

Also, I think you're thinking of EggoChasers. I had 25 when I checked yesterday. You can only carry 5 Meteorites (6, if you use the trick above). I wish someone would figure out how this glitch happens. I'd happily lug around hundreds of snacks so I don't have to refill so often. :p
