Enough already...

Every time I spawn in since the patch, I'm eating a snack, which then gets taken out of my inventory.

 

#1 - I will decide when to use my consumables, thank you very f*cking much, R*.

 

#2 - this is the saddest money sink I've ever seen in any game ever. Snacks cost basically nothing. The only thing this achieves is I find myself short of snacks when I need them. Or completely out, as was the case the last time.

 

Meanwhile I have hundreds of smokes that will take me about half an hour to drop all of, because for some reason I can throw away a pile of guns in one spot but a cigarette can't be within 5 feet of another cigarette.

 

TL;DR? Your consumables are screwed up, R* - please make them less irritating.

Just spawn in your house and problem solved? I don't mind my dude eating that stuff... It gives me incentive to go to the store, and reminds me I have snacks and don't have to always JUST simply equip body armor. I still haven't played this update yet... LOL! But I will soon, and I'm sure the new armor makes snacks stupid.

 

I bet grinding RR is cool again with the armor. I'll see soon.

It's a "don't force me to replenish supplies I didn't use" problem.

 

As I said, the issue came about when I went to use some snacks and was stunned to find out I didn't have any. So I went and refilled. Some missions later, I go to use snacks, and I'm magically out of Meteorites.

 

I call bullsh*t on that.

Rockstar's programming at it's finest.Snacks doesn't cost much to replenish anyway,I would just drive towards the nearest convienient store to stock up and stick up.

Also if you have to make more trips to the store you have a higher chance of being killed and dropping money

Yes, it's true. With each new patch for every one thing they fix (of which the vast majority of players have never experienced NOR heard of), they break several other things. Apparently that is the idea to live by in their dev team.

I've noticed this happening when I spawn back in from doing a job and setting my spawn point to my apartment does nothing to prevent this. Going to the store and buying snacks isn't a big deal for me nor does it do any significant damage to my Houser Brothers Fun Bucks account, but it does get old having to break the animation and lose the full healing from that snack.

I agree with the cigarettes, there have been only two times in games I've played that I have voluntarily made a character smoke: Metal Gear Solid (forgot to grab the damn thermal goggles) and The Wolf Among Us, where you can ignore a "no smoking sign" and keep smoking.

Im going to make sure to log off in a car and have spawn set to last location.

 

Thats the only fix. Your character wil be driving your car uncontrollably instead of eating or smoking.

 

Lets hope theyre not eating/smoking whatver while driving as I havent looked that close.

It can be quite infuriating especially when you spawn near other people and can't pull out a weapon/run

When you spawn from missions with full health and still eating candy or drinking a soda for no reasonmakes my survival grinding with certain friends+crew members a f*cking annoying to go restock this sh*t because the health packs in survial don't refill my health bar when I do pick them up. /RockScumter

Pointless to you, but not to countless others like me. Snacks are more usefull that body armor. Maybe you should try it out before calling them pointless.

 

They have saved me soo many times in Survivals in particular, but also in missions and in FR battles.

 

 

Anyways its also doing my head in. This last update has so many little changes that kinda ruin the game for me. Randomly eating snaks, rockets go through police chopper main rotor blades, and tail rotor don't ''pop'' anymore when fireing at them. 1 second freezing when looking at player listing. The game just seems like its on the verge of freezing up, loading times have increased to the point where you wonder if your stuck in the cloud. I could go on. andonandonandon..,.....

Its very annoying that he eats my snacks for no reason.

 

However you can stop him by putting on a motorcycle helmet or a mask that covers the face. Then he wont waste any more snacks.

What can you do when players were thanking Rockstar for the ability of keeping armors in the inventory while making them extremely weak at the same time... They end up spending more money for armor to survive a single mission, while they used to be able to survive with one armor and stock of snacks.

 

People can't count and they're supporting Rockstar's stupid money eating scheme.
