Don't understand why anyone would want a revolver. Just as something to look at? Not like you would ever pull it out in PVP you would be blasted by an assault shotgun. Maybe in a future title there can be different weapon stores like Vice City had a hardware store for melee weapons. There could be an antique shop too.

I always prefer old guns to modern guns. They look better.

I bet most of the old guns could still work today...With a small risk that it might break...

 

I know that modern weapons are good but I prefer to do things the old way.Its way more impressive to see a guy kill a bunch of gangsters with an old rifle than with all the modern military gun stuff.

Love RDR but since we have the Musket and Marksmen Rifle all we really need is a Revolver.

 

Besides they guns you listed are better suited in RDR due too many people on GTA wearing Bulletproof Helmets and spamming the same guns.

It wasn't in RDR but an 1887 would be cool, maybe on current gen a weapon upgrade would be to saw off shotguns, pump becomes sawed off shotgun and the 1887 becomes the sawn off Terminator style, could be fired off of bikes aswell :^)

Function wise we do have a revolver, it's called the heavy pistol. And the Vintage pistol. A bolt/semi auto rifle WITHOUT a scope would actually be unique and useful

Edit: I can hold my own in TDM with just a musket and antique calvary dagger, so I'm sure I can do work with RDR weapons in GTA V.

 

Also can you imagine lassoing people and dragging them all over Sandy Shores while Trevor joy rides on his flaming ATV?

I'm pretty sure that the vintage pistol is based on a 1911 colt, judging by the sound and firing animation. It has that big stupid trigger guard, though.
