what is the point of a second character?

One word, VARIETY. I have a male and female character(my avatar) and it gives me the ability to have different clothing options to choose from for both genders, different cut scenes and animations, different experiences and reactions using male and female character from other players, double garage space(40cars max), and the list goes on.

I've started new characters just so I can have a sick K/D. When I first started using my first character dorkstar didn't give the good weapons to low level characters... now anyone can start with the special carbine or bullpup.

 

K/D don't mean Jack to me, but it's fun to walk around with a 2.25 and only be a level 24

and then most importantly for the extra garage space, so I can have 40 Vehicles stored in online(52 if you store some on the bike rack.)

you have to race again to unlock those upgrade parts, or you can store something you are not going to max out,

but I rather have 1 character having most car I like

I would why there is a 3rd, 4th and 5th slot, locked and been a year.

 

I never liked my main, got to rank 40 something and made a second, wanted to keep my money. But on second I "glitched" most of the way up to 70. Had a break, came back and felt ut wasn't legit, so main deleted and started again (I wanted to keep my money).

I can see the point of having a second character BUT:

I hate the fact that each character has it's own level.

It's really annoying because I play with them both and my female has level 20 and my male has level 73...I just don't have the time to bring them both on the same level and I don't feel like doing it.

My Second character has been used to double the cars i sell to LSC and thats about it, i do play some under character 2 but not a lot

 

I wish the 2nd characters stats were its own, like wins and loses

 

I would use my 2nd more if i could switch between my main and my second and stay in the same lobby and not have to rejoin a group of friends,

and it would be nice if we had the opportunity to choose which character to use at the jobs option screen

Some guys prefer to look at a female character for hours on end, while other guys who are mostly insecure or gay prefer to go with the norm and look at a male characters body for hours on end. These insecure players are usually just teens and obviously insecure about playing as a female character in case their friends criticise them. As for the older players in their 20's and beyond who prefer to look at a male characters body, well I always just presume they are gay or bisexual.

Only reason I made a 2nd character was to hold all the modded millions I got back in December.(Damn those were some chaotic days) Other than that, I have no desire to start a new character. Maybe if the creator was actually good, I would think about it (always wanted to make a really fat chick causing chaos in LS). Some ppl make the argument of holding more cars. Well, you still have to grind, and win races to unlock all the mods, plus I don't really want to have to change characters just to drive a certain car. A 3rd garage would be perfect for this game in my opinion.

 

If Rockstar actually added more missions, content, and rewards for ranks 200 or above, playing as 1 character would be fine. I think having a connected bank account actually takes away the fun of starting another character, especially if you want to truely start fresh.

I forgot that I DO have a second character... And it's a female. I made her around independence day. I might have even named her... But I don't remember. I don't have some elaborate reason why I made her besides beer hat. I remember now. I named her beer hat.

 

I always play as a dude when playing GTA... If I wanted to play as a chick I'd play games like Aint's Row, and Sims, and Final Fantasy, and namely more Tomb Raider... I have LOVED those games at one point, but I distinctly remember that was before I got more ass (Female pussy for the the trolls that will try to spin it around.) than a turnpike toilet seat. (If you eat the garbage I eat, and live in the u.s. you know how much booty those things see.)

 

Occasionally I'll be feeling gay, and pervy like when I first watched sailor moon as a kid back then, and though they were hot, and hated daren, LOL!
