Stealth During LTS Matches

I have only just noticed on the minimap that when I start an LTS match, my blip is blue, as if I were in stealh mode (hiding in a bush from the cops, for example). Does this mean that other players cannot see me? I am pretty sure this started happening when I purchased a team outfit and started wearing it.

Your blip is visible unless you call Lester and have him take you off the radar for a minute.

 

LTS could really benefit from death match stealth rules - only visible on radar when spotted or making noise.

 

I made an LTS designed for sneaking around, but it's mostly ruined by the radar.

For some reason i was playing uncharterd3 multiplayer and I was grappled from behind and had my neck snapped. Even that sh*tty multiplayer had a stealth system that worked.

sh*t, even Manhunt has better stealth, but that's probably already have been established here since it's inception.

It would need to reveal the last player on each team otherwise it would become like hide and seek, even then would taht player see enemy blips too? What if there are 3 or more enemies left?

 

Im thinking a system where your blip will show if you are not in stealth mode and move (or reload or shoot of course) - but only if you are in a player radius and only for that player. So you can run but once you get close you will wanna start snooping.

Dont hate but could work with a 'tagging' system a la BF4- if you aim at a player they will show on the minimap for a short period.

 

Maybe the radius thing is too tricky to implement but i agree it should cater for stealth somehow

Yeah, I aslo created an LTS match based around stealth, but its useless if other players are appearing on the map. I agree with Bandalamente about the last player on the map, otherwise it would be next to impoaible to finish. For now, stealth only seems useful in freemode when hiding from cops or during deathmatches.

Who said it should be a stealth game? It could become a "small" useful feature if Rockstar focused on it a little more.

GTA San Andreas had stealh in a way. But apart from a few story missions, it was useless. When you had to snoop around Mad Dogg's crib using shadows as an advantage would be a good example.

wasnt that stealth feature only available in that particular mission? been a while since I have done a play-through of SA

As said below; GTA San Andreas had stealth (including creeping up on peds to knife them), Red Dead Redemption had stealth (crouching, removes blip from map). What other R* games have stealth? Bully does, right? What about Manhunt? Goddamn, I'm pretty sure Rockstar Table Tennis has stealth at this rate. GTA V has a stat called "stealth" so I don't see why you're acting it up.

The stealth stat is currently entirely useless.

I understand the need for blips in freeroam with only 16 players and the whole map but in a DM, it's pretty f*ckin dumb. They definitely could've taken some cues from TLOU's mp.

They need to add stealth in free roam as well. It should work in every game mode and survivals.

 

Doesnt matter how big the map is or how many players are in a lobby. If people are running driving flying making a noise there blips will still show up showing where players are. If players cant find someone to kill they can always join a death match.

 

Given the movement speed and restrictio s in stealth peoples blip would still be visible 90% of the time anyway when there burning down the street or engaged in mass gun fights with other players or npcs etc etc

Anyone who says stealth is useless in a deathmatch clearly aint using it properly, U would be in for a fright if u encountered me in a DM then..

LTS however yes its pretty much useless

I actually use stealth in deathmatches. Huge advantage but slow movement is the only drawback. That said, I have knived quite a few players in deathmatches thanks to stealh.
