A few seconds upon exiting my apartment I get the message: "Special Crate Drop in 10 hours." Never seen these in Invite Only since last year. Well, it didn't glitch out! I got some nice stuff! - $5000 - 5000 RP - Minigun - Body Armor - Victory Fist T-Shirt If I remember correctly, Special Crate drops were in public mode only. Not one when you load into a public session but you are the only player in session while possibly in time others will automatically join and most leave as it's not filled with 4-7players already. RussianCommie Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 I would guess that it's a glitch because special crates technically do drop in invite only sessions but they must have a minimum amount of people in the session, I believe it's an 8 player minimum for special crates to possibly drop during an invite only session. First one was as soon as I left my apartment. Second was took a little longer. I rode my Hakuchou from Eclipse Towers to Paleto Bay and I got the message. B7R Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Here's what i did today but did still not get any special create drops or normal create drops. *Yes I unlocked them* Joined a Invite only session (just me and no one else) Got Simenon's text message about the cars he wanted Delivered them to he's garage at the docks Waited for something else to happen but sadly nothing happened Guess it won't hurt to give it another few try's (Not that i'll use the shirt but that i feel the need to collect it) Also i wonder if having a friend join the session then leaving one minuet after they joined the session will work? So, I fired back as it was 'inbound' so I stood outside the green marker, killed them and next minute notification said the pilot sh*t himself and has flown off. That's the only special create drop and was 8 in the public lobby but none come close to green marker before me of while this unfolded.
