Modding section is being re-done, mainly to stop spam mods and clean it up.

Yeah I was playing in the audio files long ago and I heard a sfx with Lazlow's voice yelling ''I'm Gay!'' I assume that was something he said when you targeted him with a gun.

I have a question regarding this iteration of the GTA III Beta/Alpha style mod, will there still be hidden packages in the game or will they be removed like they were in the Alpha Mod 2.0 by MeltedSOX? Also, will the radio stations remain the same or are they going to be changed? Kind of missed the option to find the hidden packages in the iteration of the mod that MeltedSOX worked on, but I did enjoy the altered radio stations though disappointed with the quality of some of the tracks used in the altered radio stations.

I don't think they will appear. Also, they were removed for a reason. The radio quallity was like on PS2 AFAIK, it gave some Alpha feel...

What I meant was that some tracks in that mod had really bad volume balancing where some were horribly quiet and others were way too loud. While the quality of the PS2 versions of the game's radio is not perfect, it had consistent volume between each song.

 

Sorry for that tangent, I am really stingy with audio and that was one thing that irked me with the Alpha Mod 2.0 outside of minor stuff that would have been fixed if the project didn't go into the gutter as it seems right now. Either way, it is okay, I mean the nice thing about the PC version of GTA III is the custom radio station feature, I can make my own GTA 3D radio station with the mod.

Yes, the radios weren't made too well back then. The reason being some songs had a whole different quality. This time, we'll only combine GTA 1/GTA2 and GTA 3/GTA 3 Beta songs, the radios may not be actual but they'll sure contribute to the feeling big time. For example, Head Radio, more of a rock station. Libertysoul, more of that GTA2 funk/jazz.

We try to stay more with the confirmed stuff, but still, due to VERY POPULAR demand, we'll get into speculations as well. Still, that'll be only MINOR features, such as the Zaibatsus or a few of the buildings in Saint Mark's. Otherwise, everything will be 100% true, done by the book.

 

And again, we'll only go by the speculation that has anything to support it, just for the record, here, a pretty solid theory:
