It's scaled from the actual render.

 

While Jago was working on GTA3D he took other objects from the render into account and used those to scale the nuclear vat 1:1. It's huge... possibly the largest object in the mod.

Peer 2 Peer!!! That makes me extremely happy to hear. I'm super excited about this. I've played both LCS and VCS multiplayer using PPSSPP, and it's really nice.

Will pedestrians and traffic be synchronized as well on your p2p multiplayer for this?

Just tried out GTA3D's latest public build and I gotta say, you guys did a fantastic job at it! Everything is so well-detailed and mind-boggling accurate, plus the environment and visuals are just straight-up so damn beautiful.
In that spirit, I decided to take the mod's timecyc.dat and extended it's far clip values to match the final ones.

IMHO the tunnel entrance is my favorite part of the mod (with Chinatown as a very close second favorite). The decorations in both places is amazing.
I know, it looks kinda weird compared to the "softer" visuals of the early BETA environment, but I believe the sky colors are a lot much more appealing than the final ones AND it'd be nice to see them "finalized".

If you liked V1's timecyc, you should see V2's. :D 

Cool stuff though, seeing GTA3D with full clip for draw distance is a neat experience.

Any chance for an early release of V2's timecycle as a separate mod? That'd be an even neater experience for the vanilla game.:)

Guess this is important enough to warrant an update post.

 

The early GTA3 feature of randomized pedestrian heads and peds randomized upon skin colors.

 

Here are a few examples of what you can expect from V2:

And those are just a few of the pedestrian varieties you'll be able to see in V2.

As for sources of all this? It's simple, even peds.dff, the original file, already featured model head varieties for the same bodies + texture names being a or b according to skin color.

 

DMA Design made use of the fact that they had textures split for each part of the body, all pedestrians in a single DFF and all ped textures in a single TXD. Since those things changed, this feature wouldn't work in the final version of the game.

I don't know who made the MSX FM mixing, but whoever did it; you just somehow surpassed the final MSX FM radio station from GTA 3, which is a huge achievement.
