No, I don't to make such things.
 Of Course I have the normal game ( The GTA Trilogy).

The problem is that I just downloaded the mod but when I try to run gta.exe, I have to insert disc 2.

It looks like a Stand-Alone like GTA3 Frosted Winter so I got irritated.

_𝓐𝓖 has joined the team! He is working hard on updating and improving the UI, as well as cleaning up the mod's code. The money counter is fixed and the whole thing scales perfectly on widescreen displays. Some of this stuff is subject to change once I start working on the art side of things.

Not only that but when you switch to FPS the animation set also gets switched to those unused anims built for FP mode! :)

Also, wouldn't the animations change for the NPCs as well? Or is that fixed?

Can someone help me ? I installed the mod today and I can not change the radio by the game if it does not lock it when I change the radio the only thing I discovered and just change the radio through the menu of audio options. I do not know if you have any problems with my GTAIII or something else. Thank you

We are not remaking the render era phase. What we are doing already has a pretty complete map for Portland.

I meant to ask, but I was wondering about several things..

- the mapped windscreens with the "streak" reflection effect; are you guys still planning to implement this, or have you forgotten about it? I remember you showing it several dozen pages back.

- vehicle antennas!

- hate to say this, but I dislike the half image, half black menu backgrounds. Reason I say this is due to playing the er, leaked build, and I liked how the menus were a mix between colourful / pantone-like colours and blue gradients. No joke, I liked them so much I'm actually using them in my stock game. What made you change your minds and redo them? (except the original DMA logo)

 

- I like how you guys made a pedestrian carrying a boom box!

 

will later updates include the following?

- intro with the dreamcast logo / remade title screens made by spooferjahk

- the 8-ball cat thingy mr jago showed off

 

also, is there a way to get the 'GAME PAUSED' and feature where police cars appear on the radar in a stock GTA3 *COUGH*ASI MOD*COUGH*

The window reflections were faked through Photoshop in the early screens. We gave up on that once we got the real models. 

 

Vehicle antennas came in later... Errr, during E3. So we had to do away with it. 

 

The menus are supposed to be closer to the GTA 2 style. That is a design decision I doubt we will change... Just the backgrounds are bound to change.

 

The intros felt bad to add in because they do not represent the stage of the game that we are remaking. We will include DMA/Rockstar/RenderWare/PS2 intros in the next release. 

 

The boombox guy was an actual model found in peds.dff. That surprised us as well, we never expected it. 😛

 

Getting separate HUD features for vanilla game could be done but I kind of doubt anyone will for now.

Ah, I see. I just thought you guys forgot about it since an actual mapped windscreen with that reflection was modelled. Shame, but I understand

Yeah, I just realised that after comparing screenshots of the two menus lol. I was actually referring to the backgrounds, sorry.

BOO! POOR CHOICE! I rather liked those intros, kind of a shame to scrap them after all that effort he put into it, but I guess that makes sense. Will they be HQ'er than the retail version?

Lol, that is cool, might actually extract the model since I have the mobile version haha. Although, wouldn't it look better if the handle had an alpha texture?

Oh! by the way I love the connect 4 style pickups hehe, but I saw in the files you made GTA2-style hidden packages; but since you've removed their placements [since staunton and shoreside vale don't exist] will these have new locations, and will they use the BWWWWWOOOMP sfx like GTA2?

 

Also, there are too many ice cream trucks spawning, I've already seen three within a span of five minutes lol [seriously, hearing that many jingles in one area is HORRIBLE]

 

And aren't the vehicle names supposed to show up?

I'm betting your copy isn't legit. Either that, or there's something wrong with your OS install for there to be such an odd problem (game crashing when toggling through radio stations)

Okay, I already fix the crash, in this case you do not need the original GTA III because the mod is already the game itself. I also really liked the mod. It brings a lot of feel to the time when the game was being developed in 2000. I wish the team a great job.
