Stop bumping the topic. The authors have lives outside the forums. Just wait for a team member to post any update. You can additionally follow the topic for notifications.

There´s a lot of unussed and used textures of the GTA III beta/concept in the txd files, as an example in the "airgrndb.txd" you can find a texture named "runway64" wich is the generic road "Road_1line" of the beta/concept, just a little bit modified:

Vehicle interiors where more detailed, interesting the vehicle in the joey´s garage have a similarity to the vehicle´s interiors in the beta/concept:

In the concept there´s a kind of bookstore in a building in the corner of RLD, the same building in the final version i just a plain and dull building:

It´s just a little weird how the shadows of the L-Train doesn't match with the current structure of the L.T., in contrast to the L.T. structure of the concept:

The road texture you found can actually be found in a higher resolution:

LCS has it, but there - like all textures - its gamma was changed. So I just changed it back.

 

EDIT: actually you mean a different texture, but still.

Can you guys make a resource database that show where you guys got all the alpha textures and models.

You guys are doing mod 3 years, people are tired of waiting for him, Give already try it to people, what makes you delay with the release? Is there really any big problem with the mod, or what? answer already to us!

These can take a few months to make.

That is, you could not stabilize after three years of work, another couple of months you are serious, you can name at least an approximate date of release?

The actual workflow has consisted of a lot of work done, then school/work/personal life issues for a fair amount of the year, a lot of work again, and repeat.

 

They haven't, and will not, work on it every single day. That's why it takes so long.

This mod was started with kinda different approach,with different team members.
Through these years,the team has been changed a lot from the beginning,
and once they made something,people discovered constantly,letfovers or leaked stuff
they have to restart everything.for 100% accuracy,this and the real life bullcrap is the reason,
why it hasn't be done in almost 4 years.4 years 120+ pages and not even a damn buggy beta test version.
like other total conversion project.the only way to play this mod is to hibernate yourself till'late 2018 (well i'l just wait anyways,because it won't be cancelled)

like you said. a lot of stuff had to be redone because of new info. Most of the cars that SOBB worked on had to be left behind because of the new ones which need some fixing

Also, it's senseless to have the community be waiting for and contributing without gave her a single link, you can provide a few D/L before the definitive version, just like the XBOX Version Mod:

Sorry to ask but the alpha sounds that are featured in MeltedSOX's GTa3 Alpha Mod is fake?

Some sounds on his late alpha mods (1.5,2.0) had some GTA2 Sounds

along with some fake car sounds taken from Alex's beta mod.

Yeah, that's pretty much it summed up. The mod isn't coming out this year, I thought it could maybe be pulled off but I've been working a new job for the past three and a half months and the hours are set to where it's hard to focus on side projects like this.

Like you said, it isn't going to be anything substantial gameplay wise. If the goal is to see everything and be done with it, then why release it buggy and unfinished? It'll just dull the experience when you get to play the polished version. Besides, everyone who contributes to the mod gets to play it now.
