TheDeathRises
Yeah, sure Steam is hurting PC gaming. It's, like you said, making most of the sales. How could that hurt it? I can't get behind your logic in any way. Are you blind? can't you read? I read everything. This entire topic. And it doesn't make any sense. Not releasing sales figures doesn't mean sh*t. As you can see, it's working out pretty damn good for PC gaming right now. We are getting more and more better treatment from developers. Even from Rockstar, they went through the work of actually making the game on PC besides consoles. Hell, the PS4 and XONE versions are PC ports! We get the best markets, more F2P titles, more MMOs, MOBAs, Indie titles. You could almost f*cking say that PC gaming is being treated better than console gaming. Piracy isn't an issue. They lose nearly no potential buyers over this. Most people who pirate games can't afford them. Sometimes you even get more buyers. Say you're interested in a game but not sure if you really want to spend 60 bucks on it. You pirate it, you think it's awesome, you buy it so you can acces multiplayer and social features. (Trust me, this happens.) PC gaming is growing bigger and bigger day by day. It is not hurt in any way. Only a few bitch-ass publishers want you to believe that. And also sorry for being a little rough with my language. FriendlyPsychopath and Phil Cassidy7
Phil Cassidy7
steam saved pc gaming. Well, i know a lot of people feel that way but they are just doing business. it was the people that spent money buying games and stuff who saved pc gaming, who showed to the big companies that pc gaming is worth the effort. Let's not forget that. Edited October 22, 2014 by Loveint FriendlyPsychopath and Xerukal
JWitfield
If you think pc sales suck.. All you have to do is look at games.. which.. World of Warcraft is a start.. 7.2 million? This is only subscription based.. there is around 10 to 15 mil here. Diablo 3. 15 or so million sales? Minecraft 54 (15) million sales? Ya pc is doing very very bad. Just saying..
