i'm not complaining but do you guys think that the gear that was introduced in 1.17 is ugly??

today i hit the clothes shops and looked at the new gear and i didn't like them.

It satisfies all the military role playing gamers for now. I like the top for the gloves.

 

R* logic, give them the gloves but limit it.

Personally, I think these outfits are pretty decent for a Role Play Military, although according to some people, it's more like outfits paintball.

I'm not a fashionista or anything, but I think this whole pack appeals to the combat oriented people. Ugly? Well, I'm not sure. It's combat stuff.

I like the new gear but I'm not much of a fan of the presets. I prefer to mix it up a bit, the mask looks too much like a paintball mask but that's okay because you don't have to wear it.

 

I wear the military officer type sweater in black with the cargo pants and black gloves. Looks badass.

They are perfect. I love the tops & gloves, not a fan of the pants & boots but they are fine.

 

I especially love the skull masks.

 

@Judicious, RB6V2 is the sh*t, it's what I had in mind while choosing my outfit garments. Awesome FPS.

The ones with the camo patterns could have been done better as the forest camo BP vest doesn't even match well with them.

 

Its alright when you go with the night/snow type however. Looks very Rainbow 6.

Yeah, i tried this but if you wear body armor with the scarf, the scarf clips through the armor slightly. At least on xbox it does. Looks cool either way.

It looks ok but for the masks to look right, you have to glitch the bulletproof helmet over it.

 

Though it still resembles a paintball uniform. The complainers that it doesnt look military enough should relax. The military update will come soon. This wasnt

made to look military. I think it was purposely made to look like a paintball outfit. Last Team Standing perfectly resembles a paintball match. Except for needing multiple shots to kill they enemy.

The new helmets brought back some good memories of JA2 v1.13's Dyneema helmets. Now, if only we got the weapon selection from there...

Love the sweaters, though those odd patches on the shoulders... what are those for? Would be nice if we could use other boots with the pants or at least have color-matching boots in a mini-update.

All Rockstar had to do was add the gloves in the accessory category available for other tops...another missed opportunity by Rockstar as usual
