Would you buy GTA again if...

Imagine this:

 

Rockstar announce that the upcoming GTA V game, released on Nov 18, will feature the following:

 

(In addition to increased draw distances, higher resolution, new weapons, vehicles and activities, additional wildlife, denser traffic, a new foliage system, 30 player GTA: Online, enhanced damage and weather effects, additional soundtrack and a first person view mode for car and foot...)

- Vinewood Casino and other interiors to be opened. All the bars, clubs and strip clubs to be opened. All the fastfood restaurants to be opened, as in GTA IV. The hotdog sellers to start selling. The Fleeca banks to be enterable/robable in Online. Other major interiors (Life Invader building, FIB building, police stations) to be opened.

 

- New single-player DLC to be released. Two to three hours of gameplay featuring the three main characters taking a journey to a new location (read on) to lay-low following their Heist. This DLC takes place on...

 

- Santa Catalina island. (Or a GTA variant of) A new island, visible on the hazy horizon of the mid-west coast and accessible by plane or boat. The island consists of rocky mountains, an airport "in the sky", a working town, a golf course and a second casino.

 

- Heists. Released in GTA: Online (finally) including a prison Heist, a ship Heist (involving underwater) and an animal lab Heist. (Bear in mind, these will also be released on "last-gen")

 

- Many, many new minigames and Los Santos flavour. Including pool, bowls, arcade machines, live comedy shows and the arenas and stadiums now hosting sporting events and plays.

If this was all true, would you buy GTA V for XBox One, PS4 or PC? Would this be enough to tempt you?

I love V. My favorite of the franchise, but I will never buy a game twice.

The only way I'll buy it again is if Rockstar gives me a brand new PS4 with the choice of any game for free, and I would pick GTA V. Otherwise, no. Unless I somehow hit the jackpot then maybe i'll buy the game again and a PS4. But other than those 2 options, nope.

Most of that stuff was actually in the game's pre release files before it got cut, but of course we would buy the game again for that stuff. PC mods will make it all happen.

I was watching E3 live on June 9th, and the moment Sony started playing the GTA V trailer, it was a confirmed purchase.

 

I feel bad for the people who are purposely going to miss out on all the new additions, just to be edgy and try to prove a point. Lol.

 

In all actuality, despite their perceived flaws of the game, most of those people are just as excited as we are and can't wait to get it. Some peeps just want attention on da internetz, that's all.

They need to fix online. I feel like GTA ONLINE is like a free to play game where you have to grind missions to get buy overpriced stuff or buy an overpriced cash card with real money, and that's the only point of the game with nothing really fun or interesting to do.

It still sucks how the PC version is delayed. Any one with a brain can tell that did it on purpose for shady reasons. like signing a deal with M$ and $ony to make it console exclusive for a little while to make the most money off of console users. Because they know that people will buy the PC version instead because its a better deal. MODS and even better graphics and truly next gen features like DX 12 and G-sync and more.

wont be buying this game again in a hurry. Would rather get paid dlc for the current version but i certainly wont be buying the game i wanted when i paid for this version...i love rockstar, i love gta but this marketing ploy of theirs pisses me off. They arent any different to the other companies, it seems. They have more than enough money to kill themselves in cocaine/escort induced exctasy several times over yet they would still rather give us a back handed DLC.

No, I'd be too pissed at them not putting simple sh*t in like heists and the casino on last gen that I wouldn't support them. Even though I personally don't care about heists, I know there are some people that bought the game just for that and if Rockstar puts heists on current gen only, without any kind of discount for the people who bought lastgen for them, they just might be the biggest assholes in the industry. And please don't rebuttal me by bringing up the free updates. We got like 4 new assault rifles that act just the same as the one before it. IMO, the only one's that didn't suck were Independence Day (Monster Truck, Useless but hilarious musket, and a fireworks launcher) and The Flight School Update (I don't care what anyone says about this, it gave us new missions other than the repetitive, monotonous 3D era ripoffs)

I honestly wouldn't buy it.

PS4's and Xbox Ones are not selling great right now. Both companies are having to give out free games with a console, re-adjust the price and many more things just to sell them.

I think it's great that R* is releasing GTA for Current Gen, but they do honestly need to work more with their Biggest Audience, The Last Gen users.

Not everyone can just buy a new console, especially one on the closer end to $500, once you buy games, Mics, ect.

Secondly, R* needs to work on fixing GTA Online, before releasing the game for PS4/XBO. As stated by southparkmayor in an earlier post, you have to grind missions just to pay for the simplest things like your Mechanic, House Bill, MMI (Because People Don't Always Pay When They Blow Up Your Car). The only way you can actually buy a car, or something nice is by buying a Shark Card.

And to all those people saying "Go Ahead And Miss Out On The Fun...", I Will & I Gladly Will! I'm not going to spend $60.00 on a game that probably will have more problems then GTA For Xbox 360 and PS3.

I'll buy it for PC when a Heist Mod comes out for Story Mode that has more heists, because there most likely will be one.
