Someone please tell me I can get the t-shirts from crate drops in an Invite Only Session by myself. My crew doesn't want to see me for a while, some of my PSN buddies who play GTA Online haven't been online in a while, and public mode is a living nightmare to me.

It seems to go back-and-forth, but last I checked, special crates DO spawn in friends/invite sessions.

Just popped back for a few quick games today.

 

I'm fairly certain auto-aim now works against combatants riding shotgun in enemy helicopters in survivals as a result of this patch (it definitely does now, just not sure when this changed). Auto-aim won't lock onto the pilot, but it is very easy to take out the three gunners. Makes survival a cake walk now - the only thing that every caused me any trouble was the helicopters. Also pretty much makes the mini-gun redundant.

So, Out of 32 crates, I managed:

○17- Bounce FM (16 Off The Shoulders & 1 Tee)

○9- K-Dst (0 Off The Shoulders & 9 Tees)[No Female K-Dst Shirt, The Only thing I am missing, in the ENTIRE game!]

○3- K-Rose (1 Off The Shoulder & 1 Tee)

○2- K-Jah (1 Off The Shoulder & 2 Tees)

○2- Empty (no shirt)

...the Special Crates/Regular Crates DO drop in ANY type of session, invite only, closed crew, closed friend or public free-roam sessions.

Also Assassinations for Lester's(Lester's Targets) CAN appear in ANY type of session, invite only, closed crew, closed friend or public free-roam sessions.

It only requires that you have at least 4 players to initiate Special Crates/Regular Crates drops or Assassinations for Lester's(Lester's Targets) in ANY free-roam session.

 

Now trains(freight trains, metro(passenger) trains, and subway(passenger) trains) run in all free-roam sessions, regardless of the number of players in the session, I have personally confirmed this today.

 

And I need to confirm an issue where I thought I started as Solo, did a contact mission, then found myself in invite only.

 

I was thinking that something like this has happened before.

Awesome, I thought something like this had happened, but most of the time when I was in a SOLO session I was doing something that required me to be in their and NOT doing missions so I never really thought much of it, but I had experienced it before. Last night I ventured out into public sessions/missions and I saw the freight train in both free roam and during a mission in Sandy Shores - we had to dodge that one while the NPCs ran right into it.

 

I hate the 4 player limit.

Hmmm, are you on PS3 or Xbox360? Just wondering because it is odd that you wouldn't see them, I confirmed that we can still enter them in an Invite Only Session. I will have to go an confirm it for Solo Sessions, but for Closed Friend and Invite Only I have confirmed it on PS3. Very Odd though, BUT they have been glitched again, I have noticed random train cars either left or slowly moving on the tracks without an engine to pull them, and then the train simply rides straight through them, killing you if you are in/on either on, lol.

Never got any shirts this weekend by myself, as last weekends Special Crates. Last time they happened roughly every hour, Invite/Friend Only sessions. This weekend, plenty of Crate (green ones on map, red smoke) drops all weekend, same frequency roughly every hour.

 

But no Specials for me.

 

Get an armored truck, Simeon HPV, Crate drop, gang car sell when something else wasn't happening... rinse & repeat! No time for missions because literally every hour for all the above all weekend long.

 

Netted roughly $50,000 every hour!

 

Wish I'd managed all the shirts, but was pretty happy with the amount of $$$ this weekend.

 

 

EDIT: And yeah, all weekend... Freight trains, which should be in EVERY session, we broken. Couldn't rely on those for "getaways" due to the stalled, unpowered cars constantly on the tracks.

I've never seen the train issues like others have reported. I just don't see the train at all.

 

I'm usually in invite-only. But I'm getting bored with it, plus matchmaking doesn't seem to work as far as letting randoms looking for an open job to join.
