The Last Team Standing Update(1.17)
The Last Team Standing Update introduces powerful weaponry, tactical gear, high-performance vehicles and all-new Creator features to celebrate Grand Theft Auto Online’s most high stakes mode. Today's update features 10 new Last Team Standing Jobs spread out across Los Santos and Blaine County plus additional gameplay changes to allow for a greater range of game types and enhanced matchmaking.

Visit Ammu-nation to expand your arsenal with a pair of potent new firearms: the Heavy Shotgun delivers serious stopping power in close quarters, and the Marksman Rifle can drop targets from long range with lethal accuracy. Plus, suit up your team with new Outfits, along with new Masks, Tops, Pants, Bulletproof Helmets and more.

Rule the road with two new Motorcycles – the sh*tzu Hakuchou sport bike and the LCC Innovation chopper. Or, for those with more sophisticated tastes, show off your elite style in the fiery Lampadati Furore GT.

This update also presents the launch of the Last Team Standing Creator Mode. You can now design original GTA Online Jobs in this strategic and deadly mode that pits teams against one another with no second chances. This Creator update features a new option for building even more dynamic matches across other modes – with the ability to add Rounds to Captures and Last Team Standing Jobs. Or raise the stakes by adding rounds to Rockstar Created LTS, Captures and Versus Missions. And be sure to take advantage of the new Forced Weapon setting, allowing you to limit weapons for specific options like “Snipers-Only”.

To help you get the most out of your Last Team Standing creations, we've prepared a handy how-to PDF guide("http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/GTAO_LTS_Creator_Guide.pdf") that walks you through the process of making your own LTS Jobs (you can also download a Creator how-to PDF guide for Captures here("http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/GTAO_Capture_Creator_Guide.pdf").).

now globally synchronized the Job voting screens, allowing us to merge sessions where players have voted on the same Job. This, combined with the on-call matchmaking introduced in a previous update allows players to find the Jobs they like more easily, and to stay with as many like-minded players as possible. There are lots of additional changes and tweaks to GTA Online, all listed out in detail at the Rockstar Support site. These include the ability to now go on-call for activities like Arm-Wrestling, Darts or Golf or to quick match with your friends for those activities using the option in your phone, as well as an increase in the maximum bet limit from GTA$2,500 to GTA$10,000.

Miscellaneous Updates/Features:
10 new Last Team Standing Jobs
"Alta" (Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Less violent than the average apartment building residents' committee meeting, this cramped LTS pits two wings of a building against each other. Try to stay on the rooftops, and look for long-ranged attacks across the courtyard and close-quarters clashes on the footbridge.
"Del Perro Freeway" (Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Draw a line in the sand with this Del Perro Beach LTS. Teams start at either end of the beachfront houses. They can go at each other directly or take the pedestrian bridges across the WH to pick up weapons. Dr. Friedlander isn't running his conflict resolution seminar this week.
"Grand Banks" (Rank 9, 3-12 Players)
As good a place as any to make a stand, three groups take the third way at the Grand Banks Steel foundry. Fight on the rooftops, in the tunnels, and along the gangways to be the only team that doesn't get to fulfill their death wish.
"Hawick" (Rank 16, 2-16 Players)
Two teams snipe each other from rooftops or get down and dirty in the alleys with shotguns until there's only one of them left. Hawick hasn't seen this many unfortunate accidents since speedballs were cool in the 80s.
"Mount Josiah" (Rank 29, 2-16 players)
When the dust settles, and the rivers stop running with blood, who'll be left on top of the second highest mountain in Southern San Andreas? Two teams fight to be king of the hill on the open, almost coverless slopes of Mount Josiah.
"N.O.O.S.E." (Rank 9, 2-8 Players)
Something's happening behind the mysterious chain link fences, and non-descript 'government facility' signs off the Palomino Freeway. Two teams have taken time off from spying on personal communications to fight for supremacy on the rooftops, walkways, and parking lots of the N.O.O.S.E. facility. Look up for the best weapons.
"Paleto Bay" - Tanks (Rank 29, 2-16 Players)
Some places get all the luck. Two teams face off with tanks and explosives and don't mind if they turn the whole town to rubble. Who'll be left standing in what's left of Paleto Bay?
"Skyscraper" (Rank 36, 2-16 Players)
There's no escape from Los Santos. One team tries to hold out at the top of a skyscraper construction site armed only with sniper rifles and heavy weapons. The other team launches a four pronged assault in Buzzard attack helicopters.
"Storm Drain" (Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Gang warfare's gotten really out of hand as two teams come at each other with tanks, motorbikes, and explosives in the concrete channel of the LS River. Try to stay in the storm drain, and don't worry about flash flooding, there's a drought in San Andreas after all.
"Tataviam Truckstop" (Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Lonely truckers and enterprising hitchhikers are in for a scare as this pit stop on the Palomino sees its share of the action. Small scale LTS that'll make good use of the Heavy Shotgun.

Issues with Freezing when Entering GTA Online With Spawn Set to Garage after Title Update 1.17
Question: My spawn point is set to my garage. After downloading Title Update 1.17, I experience freezes when trying to load GTA Online. How can I fix this issue?
Answer: We have received reports of players freezing when entering GTA Online when their spawn locations are set to "Garage" and we are currently investigating this issue.
To enter GTA Online, choose "Random Job" from the load screen. Once you load into the job, press the "Start" button and go to the "ONLINE" tab. Under "Settings", you can change your spawn point to "Last Location" to load into a free roam session.

►Some Players STILL CANNOT their spawn location to a Garage with an Apartment attached, it will place them in the Apartment.

◆Players can ALWAYS set and spawn in a garage that does NOT have an Apartment attached.

R☆ Claims to have resolved this;

►The Scorcher without Mud Guards found in Online can ONLY be stored(originally) at a Garage Property with an Apartment attached.

◆The Scorcher without Mud Guards cannot be stored at a Garage Only Property, The Property MUST have an Apartment attached. I used Weazel Plaza for the testing and it worked. It allowed me to store the Scorcher without Mud Guards. I replaced the Whippet Racing Bike I had stored already.

◆I don't know if this is another factor, and I seriously doubt it is, but I will mention it anyway, simply because I noticed it; I had 3 bicycles in the Weazel Plaza Garage when I took the Scorcher without Mud Guards there, and it prompted me with the "Full Garage" alert and then asked me which bicycle I wished to replaced. At which point I noticed that ALL 3 BIKES where the Premium Racing Bikes, The Endurex, The Whippet, and The Tri-Cycle.

◆A Scorcher can be made with a Save Editor and then be brought into Online be with or without Mud Guards; It can even be made with only the Rear Mud Guard on it and stored.

►Custom Personal License Plates in Second Garages HAVE NOW been fixed.

◆You can simply take your car to LSC and place your personal plate and it will stay now.

◆The Only bummer is if you had a different plate on each vehicle, like some players.
►The Grenade Launcher will NO LONGER destroy Vehicles any quicker (in 3 - 5 hits) when Melee attacking them.
►"Passive Mode" NOW deactivates automatically when exiting a vehicle.

◆Even if you have not used your weapons or killed another player.

►"Passive Mode" is NOW bugged and once it is manually deactivated it will continue to deactivate automatically when touching a Vehicle's DRIVER's door.

◆Okay, now we understand it as a bug that is activated by deactivating "Passive Mode". Once you are in "Passive Mode" for the first time, it will run as normal, as it should, but once you deactivate it, FOR ANY REASON, it becomes bugged. Now the way this bug works is odd but "Passive Mode" is deactivated upon touching a Vehicle's DRIVER's door, whether you are entering, exiting, yanking the driver out, or simply propping the door open, if you have touched the Vehicle's DRIVER's door(via the "Triangle/Y" button) then "Passive Mode's" deactivation timer will begin and you soon be out of "Passive Mode". Now due to this bug or as part of the bug, it appears that the time limit(cool-down period) on "Passive Mode" or at least bugged "Passive Mode" has been lifted and is NO LONGER in affect, because you can go straight back into "Passive Mode" IMMEDIATELY, once the timer has reached ZERO and vanished.

◆Now to avoid this you can use the Vehicle's Passenger's Door, this is easy to do when entering/stealing a Vehicle, but when exiting a vehicle it becomes a little bit trickier. Although exiting is trickier it can still be done through the Vehicle's Passenger's Door, you must simply park so that you CANNOT exit from the Vehicle's DRIVER's door. This can be done by parking it against a wall, barrier, another vehicle, etc.

►When you hit "down" in Free-Roam to bring up the player list, it NOW shows the type of lobby you are in (Invite Only, Public...) as well as the number of players.

►The broken Pegasus spawn location next to Sandy Shores airfield has been removed.

►The Riot has several New spawn locations.

◆It appears that the Riot MAY NOW spawn at all "Big/Main" Police Stations. Just not at the very small "Sub-Stations", at least 4 locations counted so far.

◆In addition to the Original Location at the Main Police Station and the New Location in Sandy Shores Pictured Above it also spawns at the Impound Lot, but in the lot next to the station and it also spawns at the Paleto Bay Sheriff's Station as well.

►Crew Smoke has now been unlocked for all characters.

►The Glitch/Bug that occurs when you sell a Vehicle to LSC with Character 1 and it resets the Cool-Down Timer for BOTH Characters back to the full 48 Minutes has NOT been patched.

►The 2 Crew Emblem Glitch or the Crew Emblem on the Front & Back of a T-Shirt has been patched.

◆But if you already have it active then you can keep it until you change clothing.

It is the same with the Mask, Glasses, & Hat Glitch, and possibly the Topless under a Jacket Glitch.

►Players in Helicopters and Airplanes are now represented by proper icons.

►The Glitch/Bug in which the Crew Emblem was removed from your Personal Vehicle when it was Requested has been Patched and the Crew Emblem is NO LONGER Lost.

The Vapid Bullet can NOW have tinted windows.

The Super Car Wheels Glitch in which you could not purchase certain Wheels on Super Cars HAS been Patched.

Player Blips in the "Pause Menu>Map" MOW show the distance that the other players are away from you.

The "Parachute Menu" has been separated from the normal "Accessories Menu" in the "Interaction>Inventory Menu".

You NOW can select primary and reserve colors from the "Interaction Menu".
◆When you buy a parachute bag in Ammu~nation you can NOW preview how it looks.

When changing wheels on a vehicle at LSC, the 'Stock Wheel' option NOW appears in ALL Wheel Type Categories rather than just one that came with your vehicle.

◆The prices vary for each set of stock tires depending on which category they are in, although they appear exactly the same.
◆For example stock wheels for Stratum in high end section cost $8,000, but stock wheels in muscle section only cost $3,000.
◆This does lend some credence to the idea that the categories do have differnet affects on the driving/handling of the vehicle.

►When driving out of your garage with your radio on, the music will be slightly muffled until you gain control of your car.
◆Before it would stay at a constant volume.

►You can now lock onto sharpshooters inside of Police Mavericks.
►The tail rotor of the Police Maverick is now bullet-proof.
►The Cargobob's hook now retracts slightly into the belly of the helicopter when carrying a Rhino, preventing it from swinging around everywhere.
◆Before it would just dangle the Rhino, which could cause it to send the Cargobob into an uncontrollable dive, making for very dangerous transport.
►The BF Surfer is listed on "SouthernSanAndreasSuperAutos" as being able to carry 4 people, when it can actually only seat 2.
►Hanging up a Pegasus call makes the concierge say "call again goodbye, please come back soon, we will speak to you soon".
◆These are supposed to be 3 separate lines of dialogue but have been lumped together, like the Mechanics closing lines after 1.16.

*Correction*This has been around much longer then this update, but not since day 1.
►When reloading the "Assault SMG", while crouching behind cover, it makes no sound.
►When cocking the "Bullpup Shotgun" after blindfiring it makes no sound.
►If you die with the "Grenade Launcher" equipped you lose 10 grenades.
It should be just one, the same as in a deathmatch.
◆This is similar to the bug that used to empty the "Minigun's" ammo upon death if equiped, but if they fixed the Minigun, they can fix this too.

►Dying NOW causes your equipped Parachute Smoke Trail Color to revert back to "No Smoke Trail".
►Switching Sessions or Quiting Online causes your Reserve Parachute to become unequipped.
◆This means that you need to go back to ammu-nation and simply click on it again to get it back.

►The No Siren/Lights Only bug appears to have been PATCHED.
►The Lazer's cannon NO LONGER shoot tracers.
►The Banshee has had it's crew emblem moved from the hood to the side door.

Credit for the ABOVE Photo goes to Arms Dealer a GTAforums Member.

►All interiors in the Creator have now been banned.
◆These include the FIB building, Yellow Jack Inn, Subway Tunnels, Sewers, Highway Tunnels, Train Tunnels, LSC every single interior is now banned in the Creator.
◆You CANNOT place anything in them anymore.

►The Race Leaderboards are not working right now, so every lap is a new world record.
◆This means if you didn't get your "World Record" in 1.16 here is your chance.
◆You will receive 5100RP for every lap that you break your World Record.
◆You will unlock and receive "The Record Holder" Platinum Trophy and the "Racing Blonde" tattoo for this race if you have not already unlocked it.

►The Rhino turret NO LONGER snaps to the direction of the camera when get into it.
Instead it now slowly rotates to that particular direction.

►Crystal Clearout II & III, Coveted, Potshot and all those type of missions seem to have been removed from the Mission list again.

◆These missions have NOT been totally removed, you can still play them by going to their corona in free roam (available only in certain times of the day) or from a playlist, voting screen.
►In Story Mode you can NOW select the "Space Docker" from the list of "Special Vehicles" in the Purchased(CE) Garages.
◆This ONLY applies once you have gathered all of the "Space Ship Parts" of course.

►"Passive Mode" is glitched, it does NOT affect all player's and it is not known what causes the the glitch, but it will randomly Drop you Out of "Passive Mode"
◆There are no absolute rime or reason to this Passive Mode Glitch/Bug it is simply very frustrating, because at any time you can be dropped out of "Passive Mode" without any warning and shot in the face, have a bounty placed on you or anything horrible like that.
◆It also appears that sometimes when you are dropped from "Passive Mode" you don't even get the cool-down timer, you are just able to use your weapons immediately.

►The Hydra(Mammoth Hydra 2-seater Jump Jet) shows as available in the Creator Menu.

Credit for the ABOVE Photo goes to Leeds-Monkey a GTAforums Member.

►The Rhino NOW has first person view.

Credit for the ABOVE Photo goes to ZeusMowat_278 a GTAforums Member.

►There is a NEW HORRIBLE BUG/GLITCH that causes you to lose all of your weapons.
◆The way it is triggered:(read this so you can avoid it.)

~You MUST go into "Spectator Mode" in an LTS,
~Then join the next round and and die during the LTS match,
~Now instead of waiting until thw LTS has finished, instead open your phone and exit the LTS into Freemode,
~Then when you spawn in the Online Session all of your weapons will be gone,
~DON'T Enjoy.

◆Now to Fix this, MUST Act QUICKLY:(read this so if it happens you can fix it.)

~Now QUICKLY press the "PS Button" and go to Account Management, Press "Triangle" and select "Sign Out",
~Then press the "PS Button" again and you'll just go back to Story Mode without saving your Online Changes.
~Now when you DO go back into Online your weapons will be back in your inventory.

►The Weazel Plaza garage NO LONGER has an exiting animation, when exiting in Large Vehicle, I.E. Sandking(XL), Dubsta 6x6, Bodhi, etc.
◆Instead you simply spawn on the street near by. As if there were a vehicle(or player) blocking the garage door.
◆Although if you leave on a Bicycle(or a small vehicle) it does show the exiting animation.

►NPC Vehicles NOW spawn parked(or parking) in front of the Richard's Majastic Driveway, again.
◆This does, of course, affect the exiting animation.

Credit for the ABOVE Photo goes to
Relative007 a GTAforums Member.

►When inside your garage, if you press "Triangle/Y" while standing next to bicycle on bike rack you will sit on the bicycle.
◆If you press "Triangle/Y" again you will bail off, this will cause you to fall to the ground, in some cases it can cause death but not most of the time.
◆In fact, when done on the 1stbicycle the one closest to the Vehicles, you may bail off into the vehicle, and this will cause you to fall out of the garage, only to be teleported a couple of blocks away, unharmed.

*Patched*This has been fixed and NO LONGER occurs.

◆This has resulted in a side effect though, NOW you CANNOT get onto ANY Bicycles that are stored in a Vehicle Slot inside of your Garage, because the "Triangle/Y" Button will NO LONGER trigger your character to get onto a Bicycle while inside of a garage.

►The Police Maverick's Pilot's AI has been changed.
◆When you kill one of the snipers in the chopper the Pilot NO LONGER rotates the chopper to give the other sniper a clear shot at you.
◆Also occasionally after killing both police snipers the pilot will NOT fly away.

►I have discovered a glitch that will cause a Police Maverick to hover in one place forever, even if you leave the session.
◆It is a simple glitch and occurred purely on accident;

~First you have to get a high wanted level, high enough that the chopper brings in officers to repel down the ropes to get you,
~Then once you notice the ropes hanging from a Police Maverick, quickly open your phone and call "Lester",
~Now hover over "Remove Wanted Level" and as SOON as the officers begin to repel down the rope press "X/A" to request Lester to "Remove Wanted Level",
~Then the officers on the ropes will just jump off the ropes, no matter how high they are from the ground, usually causing their death,
(Do NOT pick up their weapons or you will get a wanted level and ruin the glitch.)
~Now you will notice that the chopper is still sitting there, just hovering, in place, with the ropes hanging from it,
~Once you have done this it will remain in that spot, hovering indefinitely, until it is either shot down or everyone has left the session,

►When getting on motorcycle or blazer your character will put a Helmet on, if you sit still for a second after getting on.
◆Even if you have "auto show helmet" set to "OFF", which still stops the Pilot's Headset from spawning on you.
◆Or if you have a HAT "Set" by pressing "Square/X" in the "Interaction Menu", which usually prevents you from wearing a helmet at all.

►Pure Black Window Tint is NOW noticeably far less dark.
◆It seems as though it is even lighter then "Limo Tint".
◆You can also see right trough the windows, it had previously been completely black and you therefore could not see trough it previously.
◆Apparently R has changed the coding used for "Pure Black" window tint from "FF"(255) to "DF"(223).

►It is NOW impossible to add bookmarked captures to a user created playlist.
►When using the creator you can NO LONGER set unarmed/armor as the forced "weapon".
◆This must be part of the "new Forced Weapon setting", which allows you to limit weapons for specific options such as “Snipers-Only”.
►Props in Creator can NOW have their height changed, legitimately.
◆This is done by using "L3/LS" & "R3/RS".

►The flag parachute bags NO LONGER change back into the default flag bag after you landed and removed it.

Credit for the above Pic goes to wanes(a GTAforums member).

►The Rubble(Jobuilt) has been added to Creator:
◆Category: Industrial
◆It's a large rusty truck with 2 versions. One with junk in the back and one without.

►The Dinghy 2 seater boat has been removed from Creator.
◆This is not to be mistaken with the Dinghy 4 seater, which is still in the Creator.

◆The Dinghy 2 seater;

◆The Dinghy 4 seater;

►The Voltic NO LONGER has a "Secondary Color" option under "Respary".
◆Also the Voltic keeps losing it's metallic status and pearlescent tinting to the paintjob.

►Vans with back doors now close on their own.
◆This is NOW like the Big Rig Trucks, such as the Big Goods truck that can be used to transport your vehicles.
◆This is possible using the "-How To Store Vehicles inside Truck Trailer and Drive/Transport them:" tutorial on my Exploit/Glitch Tutorials Thread.("http://gtaforums.com/topic/707912-exploitsglitches-compiled-list-for-update-thread/")

►Assassination Missions MAY have been removed or bugged, because they NO LONGER appear in Online Gameplay.
◆Prior to the Update they would pop up around every 10 minutes or so, now they don't show up at all.

►Cowboy Hat interferes with the Mullet and Character layers when riding a Motorcycle or Bicycle.

◆The Cowboy Hat also cuts into the Characters Back when riding a Motorcycle or Bicycle.

►If another player has a Crew Emblem on their clothing then you WILL see your Crew Emblem on them at the team selection screen, celebration cutscenes, in mission cutscenes,and at the pre-mission lobbies at the "view joined players" screen.
◆NOW they will NOT see it, in fact they will see their Crew Emblem on you if you have one on your clothing.
◆But none of this shows up mission or in free-roam, only in those scenes/screens.

(The VERY last picture in the above GIF show the players TRUE Crew Emblem, just to prove he is not in My Crew.)

►The three "boom" sounds when descending from the "loading clouds" NOW have much more bass.
►NOW when flying over Fort Zancudo you will instantly recive a 4 star wanted level.
◆It used to take about 10seconds of flying around.

►If you are inside of your garage and you access your "Snapmatic Gallery" you MAY be spawned outside, inside your Last used Personal Vehicle.
◆This is most commonly caused when deleting pictures from your gallery.
◆You will notice that the scenery is changing in the background of the start menu.

Lester's assassination missions have been fixed and are NOW back in-game.

►I have worked out a rough equation to help figure out the Maximum Possible Payout of CASH & RP for ANY Job/Mission, using the NEW Time Based Payout Method;

Now I whittled these equations together based on information found all over the web both old and new numbers, so it might not be 100% certain but it will be very close
Cash Payout:
f + f(TP%) + f(PM%) + f(DM%) + 20(Your Rank) = CASH PAYOUT

f=normal CASH payout(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)
TP%=Time Period Percentage
PM%=Player Multiplier Percentage
DM%= Difficulty Multiplier Percentage
Your Rank=Your in-game Level/Rank UPTO 100.(MAX 100)

Use the lists/charts below to get the numbers/percentages in which to fill in the missing numbers in the equation.

The CASH and RP Percentage(TP) are NOT the same so PLEASE refer to the lists/charts below to fill in the variables in the equations.

RP Payout:
f + f(TP%) + f(PM%) + f(DM%) + 9(Your Rank) + f(.10**) + f(.25^^)= RP PAYOUT

f=normal RP payout(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)
TP%=Time Period Percentage
PM%=Player Multiplier Percentage
DM%= Difficulty Multiplier Percentage
Your Rank=Your in-game Level/Rank UPTO 100.(MAX 100)
** Crew Member/Full Team Bonus=Only add this 10% if you are playing with a Crew Member or have a Full Team, Meaning the Lobby is full.(If the lobby is NOT full and there are NO fellow Crew Members or Friends in there with you YET there are other players, add .05% for each additional player, not counting yourself.)
^^ Free Aim Bonus=Only add this 25% if you have your targeting mode set to "Free Aim".

Use the lists/charts below to get the numbers/percentages in which to fill in the missing numbers in the equation.

Now the MINIMUM Payout is 100RP and 200CASH, even if you FAIL the MISSION.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Lists/Charts:(to be used with the Equations above)

Time Periods:
f=normal RP payout(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)

TP1: 0-1min (If you do it very quickly you get 10% of the base payment(f) for CASH & RP payouts; We suspect this is a backstop to account for unexpected glitches.)
TP2: 1-2.5 mins
TP3: (for half money):2.5min to 3min
TP4: (75% cash):3min to 4min
(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)
TP5: 4min to 6min
TP6: 6min to 8min
TP7: 8min to 10min
TP8: 10min to 12min
TP9: 12min to 15min
TP10: over 15min

CASH Time Period Percentages:
f=normal CASH payout(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)
Cash_Time_Period_1_PERCENTAGE = 0.1f;(10%)
Cash_Time_Period_2_PERCENTAGE = 0.25f;(25%)
Cash_Time_Period_3_PERCENTAGE = 0.5f;(50%)
Cash_Time_Period_4_PERCENTAGE = 0.75f;(750%)

(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)

Cash_Time_Period_5_PERCENTAGE = 1f;(100%)
Cash_Time_Period_6_PERCENTAGE = 1.2f;(120%)
Cash_Time_Period_7_PERCENTAGE = 1.4f;(140%)
Cash_Time_Period_8_PERCENTAGE = 1.6f;(160%)
Cash_Time_Period_9_PERCENTAGE = 1.8f;(180%)
Cash_Time_Period_10_PERCENTAGE = 2f;(200%)

CASH Player Multiplier Percentages:
f=normal CASH payout, with 1 player(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)

Having 5 or 6(16) players do NOT increases the multiplier further.

CASH Difficulty Multiplier Percentages:

RP Time Period Percentages:
f=normal RP payout(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)

(normal payout begins at TP5, at 4.1 minutes)

RP Player Multiplier Percentages:
Completion by one player is 1f;(100%)
Completion by at least two players in general or a full lobby also rewards an RP bonus,(If you are in a Lobby with more then one player, but NO Friends or Crew Members and the Lobby is NOT Full either, then use 1.005f;(100.5%) that's only .5% for each additional player, NOT counting yourself.)
Completion by at least two players and y'all are either on each others "Friend's List" or in the same Crew rewards a 10% RP bonus,1.1f;(110%)

RP Difficulty Multiplier Percentages:

Free Aim Bonus:
Completion with the mission session's targeting mode set to "Free Aim" earns a 25% RP.

Failed Mission Minimum Payouts:

◆So in conclusion, it appears that the money stops flowing when you spend 15 minutes in the mission, which usually nets you around $21-22,000.

◆The RP on the other hand I have not figured out., and will need further study to understand it's Maxout Point, but I do know that it DOES have one and once you reach it no matter what you do in mission you cannot make anymore RP in that mission.

►This latest batch of R* Verified Jobs take us to the skies above Los Santos and Blaine County, with a squadron of ten Air Races, including our five official selections from the #FlightSchool Event Weekend Creator Competition.

#FlightSchool Selections

◆"Dedalus"- by jjjpelo
"Easy," reads the one-word description for jjjpelo's long loop along the coastline, but in reality it's anything but. The Swift is the default choice of chopper, and its maneuverability and speed make it an excellent fit. If you're not too busy getting in the blades of your opponents, look out for great views across the city as you climb over the Land Act Dam.

◆"Heli Low Fly Zone"- by LoneWolfOfNorth
The introduction of San Andreas Flight School to GTA Online has arguably increased the skill of local pilots, while at the same time encouraged greater recklessness. This creation from LoneWolfOfNorth features some of the most difficult low flying sections we have seen, to the point where we wondered if it could even be classed as flying. We think that this will be a Race that many players will come back to again and again, especially to try and beat the three-minute Lap challenge laid down in the description.

◆"Dusk"- by GunterDaPenguin
GunterDaPenguin has made the city the star of this Besra Race, a north to south tour at a time of day (hence the title) when the world beneath your wings has a stunning amber glow. Not that it's advised to spend too long sightseeing - challenging sections weaving through wind turbines and knifing between skyscrapers should keep your attention on the stick.

◆"Pylon Slalom"- by manfreygordon
Conventional logic would suggest that spinning helicopter blades and overhead power cables are rarely a good mix - but conororor has disregarded this completely and created a fun aerial slalom between pylons in the Besra. Quick reactions and close control over your plane's rudders (L1/LB and R1/RB buttons) are a must.

◆"Sprunk Air Race #1"- by kapnkyle
This Mallard Stunt Race is as extreme as the benzene-packed drink from which it takes its name. Loops and tight turns in the skies above Vespucci Beach make for an entertaining test for the most able pilots. Non-Contact is selected by default and we recommend keeping it that way, unless mid-air collisions are your idea of a day at the beach.

◆"After School"- by KakoQR
The title couldn't me more fitting in this Air Race for San Andreas Flight School graduates looking to take the Besra Training Jet for an off-curriculum cruise. The route is varied, with sections under bridges and over the crest of a mountain, and we suggest keeping the time set to morning so you can enjoy the sunrise around Raton Canyon.

◆"Chopper Bombing"- by passlake
This helicopter Race feels like a change from the norm right out of the gate, with players starting at the peak of Mt. Chiliad and immediately going into what is accurately described as a "near-suicidal descent", followed by a “treetop-trimming run through Paleto Bay”.

◆"Chopper Killer"- by Liwetha
Another challenging race in the Swift helicopter, with players starting out at the docks and working their way through downtown, squeezing between buildings and climbing to pass over the Maze Bank Tower.

◆"SA Flight School: Racing"- by DemonicStalkerr
This Race is pitched as a chance to put everything you've learned at the San Andreas Flight School to the test, and this proclamation is backed up with a series of tight turns, low flying sections and tight squeezes along its short route. The varied verticality, with some checkpoints requiring you to climb steeply and others forcing you to dive down under bridges, made the Race stand out from the rest.

◆"The Flyby"- by Vance Burrito
Another great, high speed Jet Race with good variation. Highlights include dangerously low flying sections over the rooftops of Chumash beach houses and under bridges as you skim the water in Lago Zancudo, which are separated by a highly technical number of tight turns around the tower of the Fort Zancudo Military Base.

You CAN have bicycles delivered NOW, as long as you have already ridden them outside of your Garage.
◆Simply open your "Interaction Menu" and choose "Request Personal Vehicle" and the bicycle, who' icon is on the map, will be delivered.
When you finish a Job and enemy NPCs are still alive, their blips on the HUD turn from red to blue.

GTA Online Creator "San Andreas Anniversary Special" Throwback Jobs;

Ten years ago this month we were introduced to CJ, Big Smoke and the rest of the Grove Street Families as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas launched on PlayStation 2. As we take a trip down memory lane (by way of Ganton), we've picked out 10 fun GTA Online Jobs published by nostalgic community members (5 each on PS3 and Xbox 360) using the Creator and shared them below. To play these, just click on the title link and select "Add to Game" to bookmark it for your Crew's next GTA Online session.

actual_1403000828.gif"Dam Rider" by SyxTnynE(PS3)
This well-balanced Race for 2-wheelers will take you from the Land Act Dam down to the northern outskirts of East Vinewood and back up through the Grand Senora Desert. Try a two lap option with Motorcycles then try switching it up with a single lap BMX for two great takes on this scenic route. Creator SyxTynE poses the challenge: "CJ beat the dam race, now can you?"

actual_1403001015.gif "Grove Sweet Grove" by Captain_Fred01(PS3)
Grove Street itself has certainly been the focal point for many Deathmatch creators looking to represent the green and relive their glory days with The GSF. This particular take on bringing some mayhem to the block shows off a measured balance with an even spread on placement between conventional firearms and melee weapons. Captain Fred gives a familiar call to arms in the Job’s description: "Family's for life homie, you down?"

actual_1403000828.gif "A Home in the Hills" by Rozza3(PS3)
Many will recall the great view from Madd Dogg's luxurious hillside mansion in Mulholland. This particular nod to that location will direct you through a sharp and winding circuit starting in Sandy Shores and along the jack knife turns of Baytree Canyon. Ultimately, you’ll arrive at an equally swanky residence in Galileo Park to bring home the win but be warned you'll need to navigate nimbly, so as not to smack directly into an unforgiving wall or unfortunate roadblock along the way.

actual_1403000828.gif"N.O.E." by ala-eddine97(PS3)
In the original San Andreas mission, Agent Mike Toreno tells Carl Johnson to "wake up and smell the coffee" and advises him to fly low under the radar, taking a "Nap of the Earth" style route to deliver a crucial package by nightfall. This equally demanding Air Race carves a large ark across Blaine County, starting near the Alamo Sea and concluding at Sandy Shores - and requires you to take on low-key altitudes beneath bridges and outcroppings to clear the checkmarks. Keep an eye out for rival flyers.

actual_1403000828.gif "Sweet and Kendl" by GoochTheftAuto95(PS3)
Bike Race creator GoochTheftAuto95 describes this Job as, "A BMX Race from Hill Valley Cemetery to Grove Street and all the sights in-between. A homage to the San Andreas Mission with the same name." Playing through, you'll certainly start to feel some nostalgia for those early Los Santos missions but there are also some surprisingly massive drops mixed in along this course to keep you focused.

actual_1403000828.gif "Bloodring Bangers" by Arms Dealer(Xbox 360)
The Demolition Derby style Banger was a mainstay vehicle of the Bloodring Coliseum in Vice City that carried over to the primetime Blood Bowl in San Andreas. Our Creator in this instance has cleverly used inverted ramps inside the ULSA campus track and field stadium to trap "contestants" in an action-packed GTA Race. Great placement of Rockets, Speed Boosts and weapon pickups ratchet the carnage levels to a rambunctious roar.

actual_1403001015.gif "Gray Imports" by JIIThe_JokerIIK(Xbox 360)
According to the Creator of this 2-16 player Team Deathmatch based in the harbors of Elysian Island, you have been "sent over to the docks by CJ to disrupt a meeting between the Russians and the Ballers". Be sure to bring a large group and spread out your forces high and low, as every manner of weapon seems to have spilled out of the shipping crates on to the ground - immediately up for grabs to allies and enemies alike.

actual_1403001015.gif "Grove Street Brawlers" by Pressure.Drop(Xbox 360)
Being both a member of the well-known GTAPhotographers Crew and the Creator Core Club, Social Club member, Pressure.Drop appears to have a real knack for creative expression in GTA Online. In this mission, set in the heart of Davis, he takes it back to basics with an array of melee weapons to make things pretty unpleasant in Grove Street. Don't get it twisted though: there are also Molotov Cocktails and Tear Gas grenades to keep your enemies at bay or to press the advantage for your homies.

actual_1403000828.gif "Little Loop" by JIIThe_JokerIIK(Xbox 360)
The prolific #Throwback Job Creator JllThe JokerllK follows up with a solid motorbike Race named after the classic San Andreas circuit - with some great ramp placement. Setting the scene, the description reads: "Cesar Vialpando invites you to a sports bike race with ramps and obstacles, taking you from Downtown Vinewood to Los Santos airport, ending at CJ's old crib on Grove ST. Good luck."

actual_1403000828.gif "Wrong Side of the Tracks" by GTAMANIAC99(Xbox 360)
In this fairly straight-forward GTA-style Race, local motorcycle enthusiasts willfully engage in a balls-to-the-wall, destructive tear down the LS train tracks running west to east from Cypress Flats, passing through Mirror Park and concluding in the Tataviam Mountains. You may luck out and tear ahead of the pack at some point but be warned: close-quarters exchanges in the numerous narrow tunnels you will encounter going towards the finish line could even the score at a moment's notice.

First Person on OLD System(PS3 & Xbox360 - GLITCH)

With exactly two weeks to go until launch, IGN spent some time with the new version of Grand Theft Auto V, including the all-new First Person Mode. Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world's glorious details in an entirely new way. For more details about First Person Mode, check out the first of IGN's 3 exclusive feature stories this week.

How first-person rewrites the whole experience.(Full Story)

By Daniel Krupa of IGN
I’ve just incinerated a wild rabbit with a rocket-propelled grenade.
It’s one of the new animals you’ll find around the great state of San Andreas, and I’ve killed it. And as its blackened corpse slowly rolls down the foothills of Vinewood, I feel a tinge of sadness. He deserved better than this, but I’ve got much bigger problems than my own latent psychotic tendencies. Police cars are stacking up in the cul-de-sac below and a helicopter is hovering somewhere overhead. I can’t really see where it is, but I feel its presence, and the cops open fire. So I make a run for it, vaulting over a fence into a parking lot, where I jack a car, climb in, and as I look down to hot-wire it, I see there’s a bullet hole in my in my forearm and blood is running out.
I’ve never had a GTA experience like this before, and that’s because it’s all playing out in the first-person.
“It’s a very intense, in-your-face experience… literally,” says Rob Nelson, the Animation Director on GTA 5. “Obviously, we felt like one of the most compelling things you could do to make an experience people have had before feel different was the new first-person mode.”
There’s so much new about this version Grand Theft Auto V, but it’s obvious R☆ was keen to deliver something above and beyond a technical upgrade – it’s given players an entirely new way of playing the game.
From shooters to action games, we’re all used to adopting the first-person, but the way in which this new perspective transforms the GTA 5 experience can’t be understated; it fundamentally alters how you inhabit and interact with this world. It rewrites the experience, both in single-player and online.
Nelson tells me the idea has been kicking around for a while, but it’s only been possible to do it justice since the arrival of next-gen consoles and the power they bring. It also required another precious commodity: time.
You can check out loads of screens showcasing first-person mode in the gallery below.
“We’ve always been in interested in it, but it’s never really been an option for us,” Nelson says. “I don’t think we could’ve put it in the [last-gen version] because we were too busy making the game. We were too busy working on our third-person controls and the missions.”
“We were out of memory on the old consoles for animations. We were constantly fighting about what we could have and what we could still push in, and what other areas you could steal memory back from – audio, art, maps – for animation. So we could’ve added all the atoms to make a first-person mode to the level we wanted. We weren’t sure the world would have held up the way we would’ve wanted it to.”
And that’s the rub. For the world of San Andreas to hold up to the unforgiving scrutiny of a first-person view, it had to be rebuilt from the ground-up.
R☆’s trailer does a good job of highlighting the differences in this new incarnation of GTA 5 – the forests are denser, the streets busier, and there are more cars, pedestrians, and animals – but no trailer can effectively convey how impressive it is when all these elements combine and you start exploring it afresh.
It’s an uncanny feeling. I’ve played GTA 5 for 60 hours or so. I’ve completed the story and many of the side missions, as well as spending a good chunk of time doing whatever I felt like. As I take control for the first time, all I want to do is jump on a dirt bike, ride across the desert, hit the highway, and head for the city. Driving into Los Santos, seeing the skyline shrouded in smog loom into view while the radio played was always one of my favorite journeys to make. But seen from first-person, over the handlebars of a bike, it feels instantly fresh; it’s like being a stranger in a familiar land.
It’s an obvious, almost childlike observation but the world feels much, much bigger. You’re enveloped by it – no longer looking down on its citizens, since you’re now one of them.
“I just think it’s a different way of experiencing the world. It’s a different perspective,” Nelson says, as he tries to put his finger on what makes it feel so distinct. “You’re eye-level, down with the people on the street, and as you walk past them, you see them sort of look at you out of the corner of their eye. All of this stuff existed in the game before – lots of little details.”
And now it’s possible to appreciate those details like never before. It’s not just the textures but the posters and in-game TV shows and movies have all been rendered in high-definition, so it’s now possible to press your face up to the glass of GTA 5 and not be disappointed.
Putting players into the first-person, and to do it right, requires much more than simply repositioning the camera. R☆ North has adapted GTA 5 extensively in order to create an independently satisfying and authentic first-person experience.
“You have to change pretty much everything,” reveals Nelson. “I mean, if you want to do it right. We have a very solid third-person animation system, but you don’t just put the camera down there and expect to see the guns, aim, and shoot. All those animations are new when you switch to first-person, because it all has to be animated to the camera, to make it feel like a proper first-person experience that I think people would expect. All the timings have to be re-evaluated.”
Nelson and his team have worked tirelessly to make this new perspective not only work but feel totally immersive. The fastidious attention to detail that originally went into the creation of GTA 5 is once again evident in the way first-person mode has been executed. When you step inside a car for the first time and settle down into the driver’s seat, you’ll notice the vehicle has a thoughtfully-designed dashboard – the speedometer and gas dial all work and, in some of the more high-end cars, digital displays even show the name of the radio station and song you’re listening to. Your character will even bob his head to the music. And that level of detail extends to every car, boat, and plane; they all have unique cockpits, so you’re never just plonked behind the same wheel. (Oh yeah, you can even duck down behind the steering wheel if you're being shot at.)
Hop on a bike or jump into a helicopter, and your character puts on a helmet or a set of goggles that authentically restricts your view and muffles the ambient noise of the world. It’s these details, seemingly incidental, which cement the illusion and make GTA 5’s first-person mode feel like a substantial part of the experience, rather than a bullet-point on the back of a box.
I played one mission entirely in first-person – the one where Trevor has to drive a motorbike onto the back of a moving train, reroute it so it crashes head-on into another train while Michael waits in a boat down below. Again, the difference is immediate – everything feels renewed from this perspective: the bike feels faster and more dangerous, and the combat, which dominates the second-half of the mission, is much more furious. It’s hard to anatomize when it plays out at speed, but it’s down to flourishes which come when you’re staring down the sights of a gun.
“There’s stuff that just doesn’t exist in third-person: the weapon recoil, the reloads, the weapon switching. All of the weapons have been up-rezzed and animated properly, so the shells come out the right way and have the right muzzle flashes. I think we created 3,000 animations on weapons alone.”
It’s also an extremely flexible and adaptable first-person experience. Off the bat, it retains the standard GTA 5 control scheme, but you can select from a variety of preconfigured control schemes so it feels more like a standard shooter. In fact, you can customize the experience a lot – you can vary the degree of aim assist, turn off ragdolling and the combat roll (after all, it might make some a bit queasy), and decide whether the game switches to third-person when taking cover. It’s versatile, too: it can be a full-on first-person experience, the same third-person experience you know, or a hybrid of the two.
When rumors emerged there would be a first-person mode in the new version of GTA 5, I was slightly sceptical only because for me the original game, like those before it, was so interested in the lives and foibles of its protagonists – Michael, Franklin, and of course, Trevor. Switching between them, seeing the world from a slightly different perspective, was a core element of that experience. You could be playing as Michael, enjoying a scotch while watching a black-and-white classic, and then visit Trevor, who was waking up with a stinking hangover on top of Mount Chiliad, wearing a dress.
I was worried first-person would undermine this. How can you retain a such a strong sense of character when you’re losing so much of the character’s physicality? “This is new territory for us,” admits Nelson. “We wanted as much as possible to retain a sense of character, whatever character you’re playing. Whether that’s little fidget or hearing them speak.”
It’s still very apparent that you’re playing as Michael, Franklin, or Trevor. Their personalities haven’t been extinguished – in fact, the animations which made them feel so distinct and well-rounded have been adapted to work in the first-person. An idle Franklin will crack his fingers or adjust the brim of his hat. Michael will light up a cigar when relaxing at home. When parachuting as Trevor, if you look down, his arms carry the unsightly marks and scars you probably always imagined.
You can pull up your phone, and it’s not an overlay – you’re now looking down at your phone. If you want to take a selfie, it now feels like you’re doing just that.
Suddenly, I could see how these characters I’ve known for over a year might come to life in new and surprising ways. This perspective creates intensity but it can also foster intimacy – for instance, when I was escaping in a speed boat as Michael in the mission above, Trevor was right beside me, speaking to me, looking me in the eye. I was right there with him, not looking down at the both of them.
But for me this new perspective transforms your relationship with GTA 5’s silent lead: the world itself, which over the last year has been rebuilt, becoming richer and even more fascinating.
“There are things you don’t see as well from a different perspective. When we started to play around, we started to see all this stuff we never saw before. It’s just a different way of looking at things."

IGN's details that explains many of the key upgrades and the challenge of creating these new, enhanced versions of GTAV:(Full Story)

By Luke Reilly
The new neons beneath Franklin’s Pegassi Zentorno bake the asphalt below in a soft, yellow glow. It’s night and his car is parked on the verge of a quiet street somewhere in Vinewood Hills. This is my first glimpse of GTA V on a current generation console. The angular panels on the Zentorno (a shark-mouthed hypercar that looks like it eats pedestrians and craps Lamborghini Sesto Elementos) gleam in the moonlight. I thought the cars in the original GTA V looked great, but this thing leaves them for dust.
Beyond the gravel that lines the road’s edges, weeds and unruly bushes carpet the hillside. Los Santos itself lies to Franklin’s left, blanketed in light and stretching far further into the visible distance than ever before.
Switching to new-generation GTA V’s freshly-added first-person view I watch Franklin slide under the Zentorno’s scissor-door and into the brand-new, fully-modelled cabin. His hands clutch the wheel, the dash illuminates, and he peels onto the road. The headlamps highlight hanging fog wafting across sections of the street with a rolling glare as Franklin winds down into Vinewood. The Zentorno is just one of the vehicles Rockstar has added to the game over the past year via its regular, free GTA Online updates. I don’t know whether this is Franklin’s personal ride, or if he pinched it, but either is possible; vehicles from the GTA Online updates now form part of the ambient vehicle population in the new-generation version for increased traffic diversity.
I try to spot other new vehicles but I’m distracted by the spectacle of Vinewood’s vibrant and completely refurbished main drag. Franklin leaves the growling Pegassi on the kerb of a bustling Vinewood Boulevard and steps up onto the footpath. He looks down at a star on GTA V’s riff on the real-life Walk of Fame; the texture is clearly all-new and incredibly crisp. A pair of rats dart into sight and scurry away down the street. As good-looking as GTA V is on PS3 and Xbox 360, and as alive as it feels, this is something else entirely. This isn’t GTA peeking its head into the new generation; this is GTA kicking down the door and cartwheeling directly into the epicentre of the party, much to the envy of those who just spent the last 12 months warming up over by the crackers and dip. It’s beautiful, it’s denser than ever, and I’ve barely scratched the surface.
This is GTA V on a current generation console; the PS4, to be specific. This is not simply GTA V upscaled; that much is already clear. This is GTA V upgraded, on every level.
“We’ve spent more man-hours on this than most games get from start to finish,” says Rockstar Games art director Aaron Garbut. He describes the “sheer volume of work” as the main similarity between bringing GTA V to new-generation consoles and PC and making a game from scratch.
“On the art side we’ve taken another look at every asset in the game,” he continues. “From additional dressing and detailing of the world, to looking at every prop and increasing their resolution, or even starting from scratch where appropriate.”
“The work for first-person pushed this even further, making us address areas we would not normally have reason to address. Every weapon has been entirely redone with far, far more detail. Almost every animation has been redone. Every car has been modelled with a higher level of detail and a full interior and the world as a whole has had much more detail added.”
The detail is everywhere you look. The layers upon layers of granular detail astonished me in GTA V on PS3 and Xbox 360 – and it still does, considering those devices were conceived at some point in the Bronze Age – but this goes far, far beyond that. The stamped lettering on a rifle. The myriad dials everywhere you look in the cab of a fire engine. The blink of a handbrake warning light in your dash cluster when you tug it to trigger a drift. Step into the dank and grimy Yellow Jack Inn, for instance, on the outskirts of Sandy Shores in first-person and you can now feel the despair. Even the smallest, handwritten notes stand up to close scrutiny. That weird scrap of paper in the vestibule from the individual promising to embiggen your “penice”? It’s no longer a pixelated bit of set dressing that’s not really intended to be examined too thoroughly; now it feels like you could reach in and pluck it from the notice board. The detail has become utterly immense and, viewed through this new first-person lens, astonishingly immersive.
“As always we like the little things,” says Garbut. “It’s a core belief here that all the little details add together into something way more than the sum of their parts – they help sell the world, and sell the experience. They add a sort of intimate level of granularity to the experience that pushes it beyond what you’d normally expect to see.”
Garbut explains more about how the new first-person view has been a driving factor for this amplified devotion to detail.
“There’s something incredible about running around this world in first-person, glancing down at Trevor’s hands, now your hands and seeing the tattoos, the dirt under his nails, putting on a pair of sunglasses and watching as the screen tints to match their colour, stealing a car, watching as your fingers hotwire it and then glance up and see the dash kick into life and the rev-counter jump as you floor it and the ABS light flicker on as you skid round corners.
“Maybe heading over to the airport, police giving chase, glancing down and noticing the owner has left an old cup and some cigarette ends in the ashtray. Pull up at the airport, taking note of the song playing on the radio’s display on your dash. Dive out and into a plane or a helicopter, watching as you pull on your helmet and the HUD springs into gear, climbing higher and looking at your HUD move with your head and the various dials, compass, warning lights, artificial horizon and every other detail moves and blinks on your helicopters control panel.
“Sweeping over the city where all these added lights, increased draw distance complete with cars on distant freeways, and atmospheric fog adds up to a city that’s way more alive than you’ve seen before, then up higher and out the door, skydiving then opening your parachute and looking up at your hands as they pull the cords guiding you down onto a rooftop. It’s a whole new experience.
“And then with a click you’re in third person and there’s your character again in front of you – it’s a whole other new experience.”
This is all achieved, on PS4 at least, via a tap of the touchpad. There’s no menu shuffling required to switch between the two views and nothing to stop you switching between them whenever you see fit. I’m certainly smitten with the new first-person view, though. There’s something a lot more intimate and desperate about GTA V’s most-frantic moments, like a car chase, in first-person – and it’s this new level of fidelity that sells it. Spider-web cracks branch out from bullet holes in the windscreen. Glance over your shoulder, across the back seats and out through the rear glass (replete with its demister element) and you’ll see the cop cars lunging at you from behind to shunt you into a violent spin. It’s like a long-take in an action movie that you’re living.
“We took each individual piece and looked at how much further we could polish it – nothing about this process is automated,” says Garbut. “This is the team going in by hand and looking at every aspect of the game and seeing how we could apply additional memory or additional processing power.”
“A really good example is lighting and particle effects. We went in and hand-placed them in very specific ways in areas that we thought could benefit and surprise the player, like fireflies at night in the countryside, or ambient light pollution over Los Santos at night. We added extra details to the world where it made sense – take a look at the interior of Trevor’s truck for instance, which probably looks exactly as you’d imagine.
“I think we had a great starting point but that’s what it was, a start, which has let us drill down into so much more detail and solidity. To hone everything well beyond the point we’d normally be happy and bring it to a new level.”
Garbut is incredibly proud of what the team achieved on the older consoles but, after a year in the new-gen Los Santos he finds it “very, very hard to go back to the previous versions.”
“It’s more than a quick texture up-res, it feels like the world has come into focus,” he says. “It runs smoother, it plays smoother, and it feels like it has really evolved into something so much more.”
“I love the visceral quality of playing in first-person and the way it really connects you to the world. I love that I’ve been living in this world, playing these same missions for five years and between the changes across the engine and the addition of first-person it feels entirely fresh. Exploring this world I’m so familiar with seems new again.”
With just a few hours of GTA V on PS4 under my belt I’m not quite ready to write off the PS3/Xbox 360 version yet but the differences are quite stark, perhaps few more so the game’s excellent new foliage system. It adds a huge amount of life to the map’s less built-up regions and, according to Garbut, was one of the first things the team tackled.
“From Red Dead Redemption, we knew what the world gains by adding vegetation,” he says. “As soon as we saw the world with the weeds and grass added it really came alive for us in a new way. It softens edges and really does so much to make the world feel less digital and exact.”
“It’s something as an art team we focus on a lot – break up the hard edges, break up the straight lines and you get something much more real. We then updated all our bushes, plants and trees with much, much more detailed equivalents and then worked on a much more advanced wind system so the branches and leaves blow more realistically. We worked on a layered approach to the grass, starting with hand placed weeds along the bottom of fences and walls, complete with little bits of litter trapped in between, then we layered a base level of grasses of various types over the world.
“This gave us a base layer that looked pretty good. Then we built out a set of feature plants, flowering grasses, taller plants, etcetera. This we layered on top, paying attention to dropping it in a natural way, following how these plants spread and grow. Then beyond that we layered high frequency detail; small stones, blown leaves, and in the city litter and the like.”
Sowing the countryside with more realistic flora is a huge part of what makes new-generation GTA V feel real in a way its predecessor could not, but light is what sets everything off and is a crucial part of what sells a game’s looks. I already admire how authentic the light in GTA V on PS3 and Xbox 360 is and recall having more than one accident after being distracted by the skewing shadows of my car as I rolled under multiple street lights. New-generation GTA V, however, has three times the light sources than GTA V on PS3 and Xbox 360.
“Our lighting and graphics teams have made a lot of changes, all to give the world more realism and dynamism and to ensure the world itself just feels more vital and alive,” says Garbut.
“This will dive a little into the more technical areas, but we have a much improved screen space ambient occlusion (SSAO) solution that gives us far more solidity than we had before. Most lights now have dynamic shadows, and there are modelled caustic spread patterns on car headlights and many of our placed lights – basically, this is the effect when light is refracted through another material, like water in a pool or in this case the glass in front of the bulb.
“Shadows now cast through the fog itself, so we see lovely shafts of light. Cutscene lighting and much of the city lighting was entirely redone. We have massively upgraded reflections – it’s especially noticeable with all the neon and building lights reflected in the cars at night.
“We have lots more volumetric fog going on, whether the atmospheric glow of building lights in the sky at night or the way the lights in general dissipate in foggy weather. When it begins to rain, these reflections are more noticeable in the puddles and the rain itself now refracts the light around it.”
On top of these lighting changes there’s also a dynamic depth of field effect that sharpens up where you’re looking and softens where you aren’t, like a camera’s autofocus. Garbut explains the skin shaders and terrain shaders are new, too.
“This is all rendering a world with a draw distance several times what it was before,” he continues, “with way more visible detail and movement way further into the distance, with far more particle effects, from the drips of rain from a canopy to the smoke from an industrial chimney, the swirl of litter in an alley on a windy day or the way the rooftop A/C units which now have visibly turning fans pump out vapour. Many of these new particle systems now receive and sometimes cast shadows. All of this rendering with way better antialiasing.”
Perhaps the biggest compliment I can pay new-generation GTA V is that, after playing well over 100 hours of GTA V on Xbox 360, it feels brand-new to me again. Sure the layout of the environment and the mission progression is the same, but it’s completely stuffed with new things to see, hear, and do. From the readable packets in a cigarette machine where there were previously only low-resolution blurs to the more-realistic fur on the game’s wildlife. From hearing the police scanner and phone calls through the DualShock 4 speaker to the subtle squeak of Michael’s middle-aged backside on vinyl upholstery as he scootches into an old van. From the satisfaction of landing the new Dodo seaplane on rough water in first-person to the thrill of destroying a car with a single shot from the game’s wild new experimental railgun.
“We always try to make big expansive games, and we always try to fill them with a massive amount of things for players to find, whether it’s through playing missions or simply stumbling on surprising little details in the world itself,” says Garbut. “To us, they are places as much as they are games.”
“We’re used to having insane amounts of work ahead of us. Working on this has been a double-edged sword. It’s always fun to roll off a project and start something new but it’s also amazing to take something you’re proud of and that you spent so long squeezing every little bit you could into, and then suddenly have this opportunity to push so much more into it, to see how much further you can take it.
“That’s an amazing thing. I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved and it feels like a giant leap rather than a tentative step into the next generation.”

►PS3 & Xbox 360 GTA Online Servers Downed due to IGN 30-player PS4/Xbox One Preview?:(*Speculation*)

"One more big #GTAV for Xbox One/PS4 feature hitting @IGN tomorrow. It's my account of my 2-hour hands-on time with 30-player (!) GTA Online." - Ryan McCaffrey@DMC_Ryan (2:24 PM - 5 Nov 2014)

◆More Info here tomorrow...

►What's in Store for GTA Online... ..."SOON";

For the final chapter of IGN's 3 exclusive Grand Theft Auto V previews this week, the crew went hands-on with GTA Online on the new platforms. Here's what they had to say after experiencing 30 player pandemonium in both Third Person and the new First Person Mode across a series of Races, Deathmatches, LTS battles and an epic 30-player Capture Job featuring a desperate effort to deliver a Journey RV halfway across the desert hounded by a gang of bikers, a chopper and … a fire truck:
◆30-Player Grand Theft Auto Online Events Are Madness(Full Story)

By Ryan McCaffrey( 6 Nov 2014)
The scene was like a Breaking Bad episode from Hell.
In the middle of the desert, my teammates – all 14 of them – had closed in and secured the Journey, Grand Theft Auto Online’s moniker for the dingy, beat-up camper RV that looks like something you might see Walter White emerge from in nothing but a pair of tighty-whiteys. They began to drive it towards the capture point miles down the freeway they were on; God only knows what’s inside it that’s so valuable. Having survived the whole round doing the dirty work for my team (read: turning on-foot or motorcycle-riding foes into hood ornaments on my 4x4 truck), I needed to buy our Journey driver a bit more time to get the slow-moving camper to its destination.
So, thanks in part to the increased draw distance in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of GTA V, I rumbled out of the dirt and back on the asphalt and spotted one more machinegun-wielding bad guy standing in the middle of the road, filling our four-wheeled flag with bullets. Speeding towards him from the new-gen version’s much-appreciated new first-person view, I could see my speed approaching 80mph on the instrument panel (with the addition of the cockpits for every vehicle also come working gauges). He turned to face me, began to open fire, and…
He was pinned to my grille, looking right at me and the teammate seated in the passenger seat, a stunned expression on his face upon his death. Hopefully he was playing in first-person view, too, so that he had as good a look at that sequence as I did. The “Grass is Greener” mission had been won.
Indeed, several memorable stories came out of my short two-hour session in the 30-player matches (plus two spectators) the Xbox One/PS4 versions of GTA Online can now accommodate.
Take the 30-player “Sandy Shores Race” out in Blaine County. It was Sanchez dirt bikes only, and the match host had it locked so that everyone had to race from the first-person perspective (the host can also force third-person view, or give players a choice). Through my helmet and goggles – any vehicle that necessitates a helmet includes its own custom first-person view, with the Buzzard helicopter’s being perhaps the coolest – I saw two dozen riders in front of me, all kicking up dust into my face as we sped away from the starting line. I was just getting a good feel for the high-speed racing from such an intense perspective (thanks for training me for this moment, Forza Motorsport series!), when WHAM! – I was rammed from behind by a Rockstar tester who’d decided to go for the win, sportsmanship be damned. This is GTA, after all…
The collision sent me into a series of flips – all while still glued to the first-person camera – before I landed, picked myself back up, and continued the race. I finished 21st out of 30; not bad considering that I also managed to hit a narrow wood post dead-on, against all odds, and wreck myself again later in the race.
Later, a supercar race along the Los Santos and Del Perro freeways ratcheted up the insanity, as we again had 30 players all bunched up on the starting grid. How many GTA Dollars’ worth of rides were sitting together here? Twenty-some million?
It was this looooong 6.85-mile race that really showcased the care Rockstar has put into the additions to GTA Online for the new consoles. The interior of my Cheetah (the GTA version of a Ferrari, for those unaware) was exquisitely detailed. It’s nothing to rival Forza, to be fair, but for a fully open world game where you can go and do anything with 29 other players, the working gauges, textured interiors (the pebbled detail of vinyl dashboards and shiny beauty of carbon fiber do look fantastic here) make for a very convincing and highly desirable first-person experience.
Did I end up coming in last place because I was rear ended and launched into the air, spinning end-over-end who-knows-how-many times and sailing over a checkpoint that I had to go back and hit? Yes, but I had a ball even in defeat.
Oh, and then there was that one 30-player Last Team Standing match where I contributed exactly nothing while riding along in the passenger seat of a pickup truck, so I pulled RT on the controller and was delighted to see that, once again from the first-person view, I could flip people off. So I rode around, useless save for my gleefully extended middle digit.
Fortunately, all of this added fun in the upgraded version of Grand Theft Auto Online for Xbox One and PS4 also brings with it the chance to add way more detail to your avatar, even if you’re importing one from the Xbox 360 or PS3 (of note: stats can also be tweaked when importing, effectively allowing for a re-spec). The character creator in GTAO now rivals that of peak Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf, allowing you to customize no less than your eyes, nose, nose profile, nose tip, cheeks, cheek shape, lips, and more. Each has its own spectrum in which to tweak each individual setting.
And as for the long-awaited Online Heists? Of course they’re still coming (to all platforms), and “soon,” Rockstar insists. In the meantime, 30-player activities – whether played in first-person or third – add an incalculable amount of mayhem to the game that’s already the current heavyweight championship belt holder for most manic multiplayer game out there. You may want to start a recruiting drive to build out your Crew sooner rather than later.

R☆ has also added more than 70(1080P) screenshots from this week's IGN previews to the official GTAV site for your perusal.
Check Them ALL Out:

►GTA Online Heists coming to ALL Console "SOON";

How to Resolve "Alert, Your save data could not be loaded from the R☆ cloud servers at this time. Returning to Grand Theft Auto V" Errors in GTA Online;

Question: When I attempt to join GTA Online, I see this error: "Alert, Your save data could not be loaded from the R☆ cloud servers at this time. Returning to Grand Theft Auto V". How can I resolve this issue?

Answer: This error occurs when there was an issue retrieving your latest GTA Online character save data and should resolve on its own. If the error continues to appear after 4 hours, please try these steps:

  • On Xbox 360: Clear your system cache, then Hold LB + RB while booting the game
  • On PS3: Clear your game data (NOT save data) from the PS3 Game Data Utility in the PS3 XMB (system menu). Afterwards, hold L1 + R1 while booting the game.

Note: This will also reset your brightness settings and choice of language in GTAV.

If these steps do not work for you, please try submitting a request or posting in the community support forum for further assistance.

►Re-Spec & Add WAY more detail to your Online Avatar with the NEW Online Character Creator to rival that of peak Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf,(even if you’re importing one from the PS3/Xbox 360);

◆The Xbox One and PS4 version also brings with it the chance to add way more detail to your avatar, even if you’re importing one from the Xbox 360 or PS3 (of note: stats can also be tweaked when importing, effectively allowing for a re-spec).

►There is NOW a bug in which Personal Vehicles are destroyed by another player and the insurance is paid by that player, but when you call Mors Mutual and select the destroyed vehicle, which is listed as NO CHARGE, you're told you have insufficient funds.

There seems to be one workaround that some players reported to work; It is to have a second vehicle destroyed, then Call "Mors Mutual" and choose 'Claim All'.

Add a Mission with Animals to the PS3:

The limit for ammo/weapon pickup in Survivals is 15-20%, depending on the weapon.

◆This is why a lot of players cannot pick up weapons/ammo in a Survival, but only the health and armor?
The Sentinel XS Driver(a.k.a. the Hitman) has seemingly vanished.

◆Has R☆ removed him?

◆Is it a bug?

◆Was he a bug?

◆Was he part of the Shark Card Conspiracy? And since it's over he's gone? smileys-cowboy-275189.gifLOL

◆Or is he just visiting Johnny and we'll see him again soon?

►Answer: What has happened to The Sentinel XS Driver(a.k.a. the Hitman);

He hasn't gone away at all, it seems he has been re-coded, he is now part of the "Ambient Even Launcher" and is only launched, at the most, every 48 minutes.

He is part of the Joyrider Script and it has now been corrected and added to the "Ambient Even Launcher", so now you may see the The Sentinel XS Driver(a.k.a. the Hitman) and not even know it because he will be in one of the vehicles on Simeon's List of wanted Vehicles, if you have one or one of a hand full of Premium(Too Hot) Vehicles(Stinger GT, Entity XF, Feltzer, Monroe, Cognoscenti Cabrio, Super Diamond, & Infernus.)

He NO LONGER drives the Sentinel XS unless it is on your List of vehicles wanted Vehicles by Simeon, at least not for the most part. Him driving this vehicle exclusively was a bug and has now been fixed by him being tied to the "Ambient Even Launcher".

◆IMO the name "Sentinel XS Man/Driver" NO LONGER fits him, although "Hitman" certainly does as he often tries to(and does) kill you on sight, by either running you over or taking aim at you with one of his weapons(Pistol, Micro SMG, or Pump shotgun).

◆Who is this Joyrider(The Sentinel XS Driver a.k.a. the Hitman)?

☞He's a NPC driver that comes speeding by and will try to run you over if you are on foot, also if you fire at him he will often return fire and he is also a great place for low-level players to get automatic small arms weapons(Pistol, Micro SMG, or Pump shotgun). He spawns right after loading you load into a session, like after leave the SystemStore, or a Mission, leading some people to believe he is tied to the Shark Card Conspiracy, since he always trys to kill you before you can put Money made from a mission into the bank. He is called "The Hitman" because he often flatout tries to(and does) kill you, and he is called "The Sentinel Guy" because he usually(or did) drives Sentinel XS, but he also spawns in one of Simeon's Wanted LIST Vehicles(Import/Export Vehicles), or a High End "Too Hot" Vehicles(Stinger GT, Entity XF, Feltzer, Monroe, Cognoscenti Cabrio, Super Diamond, & Infernus.) if you have no Simeon List. He is on of R☆ NPCs that was supposed to act like "us", like players would act when seeing another player. This comes from a very early article in which R☆ talks of making NPCs of all types, timid, fighter, scared, curious, and "even some that will react like other players in the game would." -R☆.

"-Spawn "Hitman" driving a Vehicle on Simeon's Wanted List"("http://gtaforums.com...ntry1065460019").

►"Ambient Even Launcher" added to Online to handle "Random Events";

◆Random Events include Bank Trucks, Crate Drops, HPVs, Assassinations, and yes Joyriders(a.k.a. Sentinel Driver, a.k.a The Hitman).

Ambient Even Launcher:

Credit for the discovered coding(ABOVE) goes to funmw2 a GTAforums Member.

The coding was found in the tuneables script for the 1.17 update.

◆Value is set to 2880000 .

◆2880000 milliseconds = 48 minutes, this means that Randoms Events now work in a more randomized type of a cycle that is 48 minutes in length.

►"Plane Takedown Reward" was added at the same time as the Ambient Even Launcher.

◆The "Plane Takedown Reward" was Added to Online but has been left Disabled, for now.

Plane Takedown Reward(Event)

Credit for the discovered coding(ABOVE) goes to funmw2 a GTAforums Member.

The coding was found in the tuneables script for the 1.17 update.

◆With no real clues to what this new feature is we are only left to assume it is tied to Crate Drops, and that possibly we can get a secondary Reward for downing the Crate Drop Plane. Possibly this is why the "Pilot was scared away" feature was added with the previous update.

►The Online Census: The Story So Far(Oct. 1, 2013 ~ Oct. 31, 2014 - 1 Full Year);
◆As R☆ gears up to usher an entire new population into Los Santos and Blaine County with the release of Grand Theft Auto V on the PS4 and Xbox One next week(Nov. 18th) – they just wanted to say, "thank you to the awesome and dedicated players(Us) that have made GTA Online such a nonstop thrill over the past year on PS3 and Xbox 360 so far. We(R☆) may have provided the world and the tools, but it’s really you(Us) players who have made the Online world as amazing as it has become."
◆R☆ has dug up a few bits of Online census info as you can see below that help illustrate that point.
◆Knowing we are all excited for more Updates to come and R☆ has gotten some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of Grand Theft Auto Online – including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One. We’ll have some details on that very soon as well.

►Heists coming to Online on ALL(4) Consoles & "...will be available... ...as the first GTA Online Update(1.19) to happen AFTER the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One...";

◆This means it will be the 2nd Update(1.19), the first update AFTER Monday's initial Update(1.18).

☞"Also expect a Title Update to be made available for download on both PS4 and Xbox One by this Monday that will include some last [minute] tweaks, optimizations, [& quick] fixes for game day. In order to experience the game properly, please make sure you install this Update before playing (like all Title Updates, it will be applied automatically as long as you are connected to the internet)."

►The Fixter is now listed as a GTA:Online bicycle on PS4 & XBO according to R☆ Social Club;

The Fixter also shows up right now under the PS3 & Xbox360 pages of the R☆ Social Club, so this "COULD" possibly mean that it is no longer black listed.

►The R☆ Social Club NOW has a PS4 and Xbox One Job/Playlist Section Available;

Below you can see the addition for yourself, but I do not think that the jobs or the "Number of time Played" is actually related to the System/Console Shown on Screen.

~Especially with the information below(reiterated)

Wildlife Photography Challenge
There are new species of animals across Los Santos and Blaine County, and the LS Tourist Board needs someone to document them. As Franklin, catalog unique animal species scattered across the map to unlock the special Kraken Sub.

~So As Franklin in Story Mode Only, Not Online, I don't know if this goes for all animals but it very well could.

Also notice that when R* DID list "● Animals in Online?" they listed it in red and with a question mark.

~What does this mean, I'm not sure, but it sure doesn't make me feel great about it.

Q&As About GTAV/Online on the Current Gen(& PC) concerning the Transfer and Update;

Q○What about the exclusive in-game content I originally received for purchasing the PS3 or Xbox 360 Special Edition or Collectors Edition last year? Will I be able to access that content on PS4, Xbox One or PC?
A☞Yes, if you purchased the Special Edition or the Collector’s Edition last year, when you upgrade to one of the new systems, you will automatically have those items unlocked and accessible. Furthermore, if you missed out on your chance to buy a CE or SE the last time around, we will also make all of that content available for all players on PS4, Xbox One and PC to earn and acquire with in-game cash (original SE and CE owners will not have to spend any in-game cash to obtain them, they will automatically be accessible upon upgrade).

Q○Can you only make the GTA Online character progress transfer once? And if I transfer my GTA Online character to the new systems, will I still be able to play with him/her on my PS3 or Xbox 360?
A☞Yes, you will only be able to transfer your character ONLY once.

After transferring your character to PS4, Xbox One or PC, you can continue playing with him/her on your PS3 or Xbox 360 but the progress you make while playing is not shared to the character you transferred to your new version.

Q○Will PC players also receive the exclusive upgrade content like the Dodo and Dukes?
A☞Yes sirree! The content detailed above will be available to returning players on all three new platforms.

Q○Will any of these updates being made for the new systems be also made available for the previous generation of consoles?
A☞NO!, The vastly enhanced graphics and many other gameplay updates on the new versions of Grand Theft Auto V are really only made possible by virtue of the powerful new hardware of the new consoles and PC.

However, some of the other updates such as the upgrade content detailed above are being designed exclusively as a reward for returning players so those will not be released on the previous versions.

Q○Will my created Jobs transfer over to the new systems?
A☞Yes, any Jobs you’ve published in GTA Online using the Creator tool will transfer over so that you and others can continue playing them on the new platforms.

Please be aware however that Leaderboards, Snapmatics, Playlists and bookmarks are unique to the console generation you made them on so those will not carry over.

Q○Will 30-person GTA Online sessions include competitive modes such as Races and Deathmatches?
A☞Yes, they will! GTA Online on the new systems will support 30 players not just in Free Roam but in competitive modes as well (unless of course the Job you’re playing has been designed to be set to a specifically lower player max). We look forward to seeing what unique matches the community can create for a vastly increased number of players.

GTA IV Style Stallion CONFIRMED for GTAV Enhanced(For PS4/XboxOne);

◆The Stallion is set to appear in the enhanced edition of Grand Theft Auto V as a stock muscle car.

◆It appears unchanged from its GTA IV counterpart aside from a stock car livery.

◆It has livery paint schemes that can be unlocked in GTA Online from completing Stock Car Races.

►New Apartment Pics and Information LEAKED;

One of my favourite pre-release leaks, featuring a new mini-game update to our High-end apartment. The new mini-game is self-explanatory in the photo, Darts! There is also an added-suitcase at the side next to the cabinet, this most likely has no significance Considering the only available Darts area is in Blaine County, this first-time minigame will increase the social-events players can hold in their apartment such as Dart competitions. I believe, from source code, that it will operate the same way that the standard Darts interface works.

In the first of the lot is a screenshot(ABOVE) depicting some sort of a surveillance equipment inside an apartment building with a rest room on its right and a closet on its left hand side.
◆It is not yet clear if this surveillance equipment is meant for some household security or in-game surveillance system for Heist missions.

This preview demonstrates a CCTV-panel with two chairs, two computers and a front layer large screen. Above this, we can see what looks like a first-aid cabinet, looks a bit odd but could be part of one of their future plans as with this CCTV console. At the side, we can see a small amount of the wardrobe area which has some nice shadows that I've not seen on the current version of this apartment. This preview has originated from the old-High end apartment that was available when Grand Theft Auto Online first launched.

In the next screenshot(ABOVE) for GTA 5 next-gen, we get a glimpse of the living room interiors, wherein you can spot a laptop sitting on the coffee table.
◆There is also a gigantic white-board screen on one-side and a large LCD/LED TV mounted on the wall with two wall-mounted speakers on its sides.
◆In other words, it means you can surf the web on the laptop while enjoying your favorite programs on the TV.

This preview isn't as thrilling as the one above, but does show some dynamic changes. Firstly, their are two speakers next to the TV, which links to the Hi-Fi system shown on the bottom right - I don't want to cause a definite 'Yes' game, but I believe from source code that this is a feature allowing you to select music from the XMB and apply the track to the music in your apartment. I can also see a laptop on the glass table, this shows the Lifeinvader page, I don't believe this has any special attraction un-like the others. There is a orange heater on the top right, it is reflecting a nice, warm Orange glow - a new light shadow which looks nice.

◆In this screenshot(ABOVE), you will see a washer and drier to one corner of the modular kitchen with fully furnished wardrobe including wooden shelves, storage cupboards and authentic window screens.
◆Some of the key notable features supported by the modular kitchen include refilling your health bar, washing off blood stains from clothes after getting shot or killing someone with some melee weapon.

So it appears there will also be a washing-machine function added to the Apartment, allowing you to quick-clean the blood from your clothes. Now, the unique element of this preview, is that a Maid-AI character is standing next to the washing machine, according to some other assets I've found, the introduction of Maid-AI features are likely to be added. You can also see an Online character playing darts, I believe Rockstar are demonstrating a player using the new Apartment feature with the new Maid-AI doing their duty in the corner of the room.
◆On a closer look, you will also observe a toaster and a pot cooker sitting on the platform in the kitchen, which could come in handy for making bread toast or some delicious and spicy dishes of your liking.

This preview doesn't have many changes, I can, however, see a few new kitchen things like a toaster, a pot on the cooker and some small items on the white table - these are not currently seen in the current version of this apartment. One thing I can again believe to be a new up-coming feature is the washing machine and dryer on the right - for a while I've seen bits and pieces that relate to 'quick-washing the blood' from your clothes despite the Shower doing something similar to this. Again, I cannot promise this is a definite feature but 90% of the stuff added to this interior update has a feature/purpose.

One of the most strange, but excellent and innovative pre-release features I have collected, is expanded Apartment access. The interior shown in the photo, has in fact, existed for a while but in this preview, you can see an alarm above the door of your Multiplayer apartment front door which is most likely to increase the realness of outside your Apartment or what some may call 'Inside your apartment building'. The odd part of this pre-release preview, is the memorial outside the Apartment door on the right. It seems Rockstar have created a 'dead man next door' theme which matches the theme of GTA Online (being killed, violence etc). Although this memorial has no role in the ability to enter and exit your Apartment manually, I find it a funny but ionic twist to the interior.

The player may now be able to enter and exit their Apartment via the lift manually, rather then the AI moving your character for you and then the ability to open, close and lock your Apartment door. The only downside, is that you can't interact with other players in the hallway of your Apartment building unless you invite them. I am not sure what the 'Lock, Open, Close' misc options are for, if you can't let other players in the lobby but this could be worked-around on the actual release of this feature.

This photo(ABOVE) is the updated High-end apartment which was released in 1.13, they've added a PC, a shredder next to it, a planning board and I've noticed some increased light shadow which is nice.

This photo(ABOVE) is the first High-end apartment that came with GTAO in October 2013. They've added the same PC next to the printer meaning it could be part of the interaction between heists and the planning board - the planning board itself has also been added. Again, I can see some nice light shadowing. A pile of books has been added next to the PC - could this be where heists logs are stored? Who knows!

New Houses & Mansions maybe coming to Online:

I am unable to confirm that the following locations will be added to GTA Online but it seems Rockstar devs have initiated a Dynasty preview for each new location and we can see the infamous 'Keypad' on the wall of each location which I have circled in RED which is only ever seen on current GTA Online apartment buildings - this is a good indication it will be coming to GTA Online on all platforms.

This location does not seem to be a mansion but is part of the future house preview collection.

►Get Ready for the Next Generation in Los Santos*Added to the "-Still To Come" Section.*

Next week(Nov. 18th), get ready to join an entire new generation of Los Santos and Blaine County residents. The power of the latest console hardware has added new potential to the world and we’re all very excited for what, you, our amazing player community will make of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week.
With the advent of First Person Mode, 30-player Online support and other new features made possible by the new systems, our feedback, help and guidance is more important than ever to help R* make the game experience all it can be. Whether it’s letting them know what you like and what you don’t like about the new features, reporting any technical issues you may experience during the early days of GTA Online’s next generation launch, or any other suggestions for improvements and tweaks whatsoever – we need your continued help, and, maybe, just a little patience if there are any teething problems around the launch on the new systems. R*(and us the Beta testers) has, of course, tested the game extensively but there is no way our several hundred testers can be quite as comprehensive as millions of players! Please bear with us should any issues arise - we will be working hard to fix any problems that arise, and generally ensure this launch is as smooth as possible.
To help aid on that front, we want to continue to encourage all players to utilize the following communication channels:
☞R☆'s dedicated Rockstar Games Support website for help with any and all technical issues that may arise. You can browse the knowledge base of known GTAV and GTA Online issues and subscribe to articles there to get automatic updates of when they’re addressed. And if your issue does not appear as an existing knowledge base item, you can also always create a new ticket to get help.
R☆'s dedicated Rockstar Games Support website:"https://support.rockstargames.com/"
☞The [email protected] official player feedback inbox. Over the past year, with each and every Update released for GTA Online were tons of positive changes made as a direct result of player feedback that our development team consulted constantly for input. From specific content added to the game to countless enhancements such as improvements to GTA Online’s RP and GTA$ payouts, insurance system, passive mode, Creator features, damage system – and so much more were all made to the game thanks to your very helpful suggestions. R☆ has said since the very beginning "that Grand Theft Auto Online is as much yours as the players and residents of San Andreas, as it is ours as R☆ Games" and that "–we’re very excited to continue the collaboration ahead."
The [email protected] official player feedback inbox:"[email protected]"
Also expect a Title Update to be made available for download on both PS4 and Xbox One by this Monday that will include some last minute tweaks, optimizations, & quick fixes for game day. In order to experience the game properly, please make sure you install this Update before playing (like all Title Updates, it will be applied automatically as long as you are connected to the internet).
We will be looking closely at your feedback from the initial launch days on the new platforms to help inform other future dynamic tuning changes and Title Updates as always. And get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy).
Beyond that, here’s just a few things to get excited for in Grand Theft Auto Online for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting next week:

Up to 30 Player Mayhem.
☞Whether it’s mass marauding in Freemode or lining up a proper Crew convoy for an epic GTA Race – there will now be the opportunity for nearly double the player action that was possible on the PS3 and 360.

The Next Generation Character Creator.
Give your GTA Online player a dramatic makeover thanks to the new customization options that the overhauled character creator offers. Create a brand new character from scratch or take your current guy or gal for a bit of cosmetic surgery in true Los Santos fashion.

The GTA Online First Person Experience.
☞We revealed the first person experience for GTAV last week, a feature that will be available in both Story Mode and GTA Online allowing you to seamlessly switch between first and third person perspectives while playing. Fancy trying your favorite Team Deathmatch as a first person shooter – or weaving through the turbines at the RON wind farm with a view from the cockpit of your Lazer in glorious 1080p? That’s just scratching the surface of the possibilities that the first person experience will add to the gameplay of GTA Online.

Double the Props in the Creator Tool.
☞To date, the amazing minds who’ve put the Creator Tool to work are responsible for nearly 10 million original custom Deathmatches, Races, Captures and Last Team Standing Jobs. Amongst those are some truly epic experiences including some masterfully imaginative metagames that we never could have envisioned. Now with the possibilities of prop placement doubled, you’ll be able to build enormous arena-style Deathmatches for concentrated chaos, or maze-based Land Races requiring extreme guile, or stack shipping containers around Air Race checkpoints to create large scale obstacle courses for GTA Online stunt pilots… With double the props and up to 30 players, we can’t wait to see the ways in which the incredible Creator community will assuredly concoct brilliant gameplay magic on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

-SeaWallTx Found information in the latest( iFruit Files that lead us to believe there maybe a NEW vehicle on the way:(Along with some other interesting stuff.)

The MOST exciting find in the files is the "Seraph" which is a Vehicle NOW listed just before the DLC vehicles, although it DOES have the exclamation mark like the DLC vehicle. BUT it does NOT, yet, have a HASH #, which is very odd, but it IS there and I will include the files below if you want to look yourself.

<hash></hash>(Odd, no hash, this must be coming later)
<key>SERAPH</key>(Rolls Royce Limo)(Like the Lovefist Limo from GTA Vice City)
<Category>Generic2Door</Category>(2 door limo? huh?)

In Previous GTAs it has been used, by modders, to replace limos(especially the Lovefist Limo);

Okay, that's about all I have got for y'all, below I have posted a link to a ".zip" file with all the info and the files they came from as well as the original ".apk" file:

And if you still don't trust me, here is a like to the ".apk" file that I could NOT have touched:(iFruit1.3.33.1[April 11, 2014"])

-funmw2 found some strings for new weapons in scripts , but I don't think they are for future dlc because R☆ added them in 1.12 or 1.11.

(Out of all of these weapons we HAVE received the Antique Dagger and the Vintage Pistol.)
~Heavy Rifle , Assault MG , Assault Sniper Files:

~ST3V3HACKER was browsing through some texture files when came across something very interesting:

~Four future DLC weapons? (MG/AR, Pistol, Scar and Knife?)

~Here is the textured counter part:

-The StunGun NOW appears on the Ammu~Nation Webpage in Online as "Back in Stock" as well as appearing in the display case in Online.

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to take third person selfies when sitting in the Barbers.

I'm sure this needed to be fixed, i heard those 3rd person selfies can reset your rank and money. < sarcasm

The Furore GT is overpriced. The Hakuchou and innovation has no good customization. Least Giantsgiants can't ruin them.

►A lobby-wide feed notification has been added for players who use the Lester Ability “Off the Radar”.

This is the dumbest. I can't even think of an analogy to sum it up of how stupid that change is.

I think they've remove the ability to shoot tail rotors off, but I need confirmation.

Its freeze all the time.

My spawn location is in last location and still freeze for like 5seg

Crunch McThornbody

Well just f*cking great, they're sucking more of the fun out of the game by announcing when players go off the radar or are in jets.

And the tank still sucks balls.

Haven't experienced freezing yet myself. But for some reason my spawn location always changes back to my apartment on it's own no matter what I set it to.

Unless I am Imagining things, it seems R* have Hot-fixed it so you can not set your Spawn Location to Garage (can scroll to it but does not save the change for me) due to the Freezing occurring right now...As an interesting side note, in my Garage now and every time I get into a PV my character gets straight back out again without the engine ever starting up.

Also: Grenade Launcher will no longer destroy NPC Vehicles or PV's in 3 - 5 hits when Melee attacking them.

Edit: Requested PV and can drive it but Blue circle outside of Garage gone for me so can not put Vehicle away and will need to wait 5 mins for Mechanic to change it... Hopefully changing Sessions will fix this

Is this The Guy?

I had that problem when setting my spawn point to my garage as well, it automatically goes to apt.

Passive mode deativates automatically upon exiting a vehicle even if you have not used your weapons.

Never noticed it before dont know if its new. But I was in a gang shootout and the tally at the end when it says your kills and headshots I got a point blank kill. May just be I never killed anyone point blank before but Ive never seen this before
