If optimized properly and when somebody has a machine capable of it, the game will look better than consoles, no doubt.

 

Best game in the world *in graphics*? No. Codemaster's Fuel is a game I played that had, at least equally, stunning environment views, and the Dirt games in the Colin McRae series (which got killed by some moron sliding around barrels while he fails at any form of serious racing) look more impressive in the car/racing environment area. And then you have other games that match or exceed it, perhaps GranTurismo 6, GRID and Forza Horizons 2. I don't have thát much experience with those games though.

 

Please note I don't mean it looks bad, but I think there are quite some games out there, perhaps in other environments too, that have an equally impressive graphics engine with an equal WOW-factor as V has.

Dude, PC are better and faster than any console. They could make GTA V for PC the best but simply won't. Rockstar is just ignorant company.

I think it'll all depend on your settings, if you have low settings, it'll look like old/current gen and if you have a good pc you'll be able to make it look like next-gen or maybe better, like IV used to be on the highest settings

Well duh, the new gen with further improvements, otherwise we wouldn't have been waiting so long for it.

It's really neat that they remastered it for PS4 and Xbone in mind. I would have been content if such version never even came as a concept and PC just got a port of the PS3/360 one. And for PC alone, they would have never bothered with such upgrades because let's face it, they don't care so much for us.

I am totally fine with that.

I have my PC for mouse/keyboard, 60fps and as flexible work machine. Not for the latest crazy graphics even if it is nice to see real PC games in development like Star Citizen.

Most likely what you've seen in the current gen trailers. Maybe a bit better with the better AA and stuff.

I'm thinking the biggest difference of all between PS4/XBone and PC will be playing it at 60 frames a second if you have a reasonably powerful CPU and GPU. Obviously there is much speculation over what the PC system requirements will be, both minimum and 'recommended'.

 

Given that the last-gen Xbox 360 and PS3 versions run at (very roughly) ~25fps (as high as ~30 and as low as ~20 fps ) and most of us expect the PS4/XBone versions to run at a more consistent, nearly locked 30fps (and certainly native 1080p on PS4, maybe 900p on XBone).

 

Another major difference might be even greater draw-distances on capable PCs, but the one that stands out of course is frame rate.

 

Frame rate is most important thing to me (and I know I'm not alone) because it affects both the 'look' and the 'feel' of any game, meaning both visuals and gameplay smoothness. -- Even though a lot of people say they are fine with a 30fps framerate and can't really tell the difference between 30 and 60 frames per second.

This is one of the most pointless threads I've seen. It will look better than the Xbox One & PS4, especially once graphical mods are made.
