PC Version Will Look Like What?

What do you think GTA V PC Version Will Look Like. I am afraid that it will be like OLD-GEN

It will not only look like old-gen and run like old-gen. With a 15 fps lock and only available on Windows 95.

Think about it. Even the E3 teaser which promoting PS4, XBOne but also PC shows a lot of improvements in terms of graphics. GTA V PC will look at least like NG version or most likely even better. They probably are going to add tessellation, better AA, AO and all that stuff supported by PC. It will be amazing, and I'm sure of that .

Probably a mix between pre release last gen trailers and the NG trailer we saw in June.

Better than both and the best Game in the World. I played Watch Dogs(sh*tty Handling but many Things to do), FC 3(beautiful World, Animals etc.), Skyrim(possibility to mod and good Story etc.) and other Games and they all are good, but not one of those Games will ever top Grand Theft Auto V as an Open World Game. Its just superior in every aspect. Can`t wait.

Dude, both CG trailers are filmed on PS4. Expect a parity, or better.

I'm not a PC gamer but I know that GTA V PC will look so awesome. I have a PS4.

It will be on par with the next-gen versions in the worst case. And even then, it would still have exclusive features like higher levels of MSAA, SSAA, etc. In the best case the graphics will be considerably better than on any of the other four platforms, while performing acceptably on high performance hardware of the recent years. I would say the most reasonable thing to do is, to expect a mix of both.

 

In other words, the graphics will be most likely slightly better on PC than on the PS4 and Xbox One. Hopefully it will be amazingly optimized so that you don't need a High-End card of the newest generation to max it out. It's just a question of how much better the PC version is in terms of visuals and optimization.

Well that depends on the PC you`ll be using. If you are using some old toaster then it might look like old-gen, but if you have like Titan SLI, 16Gb RAM and some high end CPU then it will look better than new consoles. I don`t think new consoles will run GTA5 on ultra with anti aliasing. Probably High settings with no AA. Hardware in new consoles is much better than old ones, but still it`s not very impressive. 8Gb of ram is good though, that would be the standard for PC right now. But I think it will run great on consoles, but will probably be capped at 30 FPS. I just bought 3 month gold for my xbox and you know what. For GTA game with a controller 30 FPS is not so bad. You don`t really notice the 30 FPS as heavy as on PC where you can twitch move and stuff. It hits hard when it drops to something like 25 though. Yesterday while playing we were having a complete mayhem and it felt like the frames went down to 20 at one point.

I wonder if the textures will have a higher quality on PC. Most likely they are 2k on PC, but somebody said they would be the same on PS4.

I wonder what Anti-aliasing modes supported by V PC. I sure hope that it'll support SMAA.

I highly doubt that it will look that much different from the PS4/X-Box One versions, textures and models wise.

 

Probably better draw distance and Anti-Aliasing, but other then that nothing substantial.

There actually seems to be quite a bit of aliasing in-game, still. Judging by the latest trailer.

 

Not nearly as much as before. Goodness, no. The PS4 version is a big improvement. But still, I can definitely spot the aliasing with ease, and I'm someone who's not too picky when it comes to these things.

 

I think the textures are also going to be better, provided they give us an HD texture pack of sorts. The current textures on PS4 are pretty good, from what we've been shown. Still leaps and bounds over what we had on last gen, no question about it.

I believe the jaggies were noticeable in the new trailer due to a lot of the scenes taking places in the daytime. It's the same with the last gen versions of V. The aliasing isn't that intrusive during the night, but during the day it can be an eyesore.

 

Kinda surprised it's still noticeable on character models, though. Like the old guy Franklin talks to in the trailer, his hair has some serious jaggies, lol.

I didn't notice sh*t with tesselation on or off in Max Payne 3, theres more jaggies in the grass compared to the grass in the E3 trailer

Or someone who can't afford a good PC or a console to play the game. As a console player, I'm sure the PC version will look better, with better AA and some small aditions to draw distance and textures. Of course it will look gorgeus with mods. Can't wait to see the mods. No hate for you guys, I'm not trying to be a peasant or so...I'm just as sad as you for the delay, because I wanted to see how beautiful can this game be...but I'm sure you'll get a very good game to keep you busy for a while. And who knows, maybe I'll buy it for PC too just for mods sake.

Not everybody who owns a console is a "console fanboy" or "console peasant", actually I like consoles too, it's nice to stay relaxed on a couch and play games,

but I prefer to play on computer for mouse/keyboard and slightly better graphics.

Pretty much, yeah. with the ability to have more AA and higher framerates, given powerful enough hardware.
