I understand your point of view and I agree, I mean there could be a slight chance that this Twitter account belongs to someone at Rockstar games and they are simply taking a slight advantage of the moment and just building hype OR it could be a guy just wanting to mess around with the crowd. But we will never know, although I do hope that this Twitter account is telling us good info. that is possibly legitimate or at least they leak something special. Yes, you can report him, but I don't think false identity would count because he isn't really trying to act as individual, he simply is stating he works or is associated with a company. I would say the only people that could take care of this would be Rockstar since they can prove that this individual is misleading others by providing false information. If, in the end, he will turn out to be legit i'd be greatly surprised! By the way i'm loosing the last bits of hope seeing the game, on PC, in december... It's just too good to be true. People think that it would be smart, because now people are buying consoles to play the game and then PC gamers will spend a lot of money for the holidays. But think about it. A lot of PC players will buy NG consoles for GTA V, just to discover, a couple of weeks later, that the game is due in 2014... I think they would start a riot against R*, in that case. Toronto was responsible for Independence FM in the HD era. North was only responsible for the first ever custom radio station in San Andreas, and that was 10 years ago. The fact that this guy acts in such unusual patterns is what's interesting here. It's too obvious for a troll. It seems like it's someone that's high up in the company being a cryptic arse under a fake name. I'm not clutching at f*cking straws. I'm defending equal possibilities. It could be fake just as easily as it could be real. Don't force one or the other down my throat. Also, I think the theory that this account is actually Lewis himself is what's most likely at this point. Hum... I actually would like that guy was for real, specially because with what he said he gives me even more hope for my theory and that "we're working hard to release it in 2014" is exactly the kind of "heroic speech" I've been saying that Rockstar could use to explain why first said Jan and then December. That is exactly the kind of stunt I could expect, this way they would change from hateful to amazing and pull their stunt for CG consoles and get the Christmas train for PC. Although I really doubt that guy could be genuine just for a simple reason. I was a BoardAdmin at BIGPOINT/ 7GAMES in an online game, and I was also part of the support for that particular game and also made official posts in the website and forum. And we had very straight rules, what this guy is doing would be enough to be fired and get legal consequences on his shoulders. By comparison the company I was in was very small, I'm sure Rockstar wouldn't allow this kind of behavior by anyone. Unless he is being paid to do that, but I really doubt it. S1LV3R_W0LF Posted September 30, 2014 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Yeah anyone could, but you need to be clever to do it some trolls are very easy to spot others take longer if he wasn't so obvious and so "open" he could have looked more credible but he exaggerated. So now that account was "killed", c«so what could have been th ereason? He deleted it or someone asked tweeter to do it? Personally I think he did it for two possible reasons, the first is to avoid all the hate, the second because by doing so he looks "credible" and he will come back and bring all of this up to enforce that idea. People will think that he was for real and Rockstar got him fired... but honestly no one with any sense would pull a trick like this and risking their job.
