I would rather see a nice Second Gen Split Bumper specifically a Baldwin Motion Phase 3 Split Bumper. in here instead of a bulky overweight Fifth Gen.

You can get a used, but relatively new, corvette Z06/Z07 (C7) for much cheaper: ~50k. Same engine, better amenities, and faster. Honestly, if you want a spiffy awesome camaro, get a newer used ZL1 or 2SS ($20-30k) and dump some money into mods. You would have a kicking' car after just a few thousand thrown into the engine and chassis/suspension and it would still allow you to pocket quite a bit by saving yourself from buying that Z28.

The Z28 is built for road racing. That is why it seems like the ZL1 is better. The ZL1 is made more for straight line performance.

The Corvette C7 Z06 isnt even out yet. The C6 (2006-2013) does have the same engine as the Z28. The Z28 is so expensive because it's a track car and it has $6-7k tires.

My bad...I get a lot of the newer generation corvettes mixed up. I like the older models myself. I meant C6, but I had been recently reading up on the new C7 Z06 and it sounds ridiculous.

 

Also, I know the Z28 is track oriented, but I still stick with what I said. You could build your own faster camaro for much less... Minus the carbon ceramic brakes. Lol. And also, running those pirelli pzero tires ($4k per set)... There are slightly less expensive tires and parts that you could buy to save money while sticking with quality (brembo brakes and all-season tires). Either way, I can't justify spending that much on a camaro when there are better options, especially for customization costs and preferences.

The Gauntlet is a hybrid of The Camaro and Challenger respectively. All the cars in the game are like this (concept combinations) to avoid huge lawsuits.

 

But like I said months ago when this was brought up in a thread (dont see how this one survived a "lockout") That they can make newer cars with the unused Parts, like they used Challenger front and Camaro rear for the Gauntlet, just take the Camaro front and Challenger rear and BAM!!!: brand new piece of overpriced bullsh*t.

Also, there are two vitally important details that mark the Gauntlet a Challenger.

 

The headlights and the maker. Sure, it's profile is similar to a Camaro and it has Camaro taillights, but it's built by a Dodge parody.

But unlike that thread I've actually done some two sketches for two Camaro designs that could be implemented. One based off the early 2000s camaro and one based off the Modern ZL1:

 

Based off a 2001 Camaro with some elements from the 2001 Firebird (particularly the front cluster and the rear section). I call it the Vigero LZ1 in reference to the Camaro LS1.

 

This version is based off a Camaro ZL1, with some elements from the 2007 Monte Carlo and the 2009 Ford Mustang. The four headlight set up is a homage to the original Vigero and it's four headlight cluster. This version is called the Vigero LZ4 in reference to the ZL1 name (and the fact it's meant to be a successor to the Vigero LZ1 above).

I agree that it's not a prefect replication of either the Challenger or the Camaro bit it does share enough of each of their characteristics I wouldn't expect any different versions of either car.

Too bad Pontiac doesn't exist anymore... It was the awesome-sauce division of GM. Btw, that is just a rebadged Camaro with a body kit and some kind of shaker hood. GM needs to rekindle Pontiac because so many people still love that part of the company.

No. Anything but the ugly as sin new gen Camaros. I despise the new ones. Plus, you got your title a bit wrong. There were no 2007 model year Camaros. They were in the Transformers movie, but that was not a real new Camaro. Their first official model year was in 2009. So your title should have the 2009-2015 model years.

Indeed. Pontiac (along with Oldsmobile) was always my favorite GM division. Even though the last V8 they made themselves was the 301 (which they discontinued after '81) and through all of the badge engineering, they still made the best-looking cars usually... better than Chevys at least.
