Why is the sentinel so slow

I just ran 56 second lap times easily in an Elegy. 1:06 is not fast.

 

Many people got "world records" due to a glitch. I actually got one on Ring of Fire also, in a Stratum.....

 

Also, no Comet holds any world record.

 

I didn't say I have THE world record... I said I have A "world record" (SOMEONE FOR THE LOVE OF SAINT PETER CLEARLY EXPLAIN THE W/R BUG. YEAH I GOOGLED IT LOL!!!)

 

56 seconds in the Elegy is relative. And 1:06 for a sentinel must be fast if no one else dunnit. (Quite a few people have times better than mine in the elegy in fact from the actual WORLD RECORD holder to me at two hundred and something thousand only 12 elegy's appear. Not many...)

 

From number 1, to where I'm at on the leader boards one comet appears with a time faster than your elegy.

 

If you are on PS3 you will be the reason I play this game soon. And I haven't played in days, but don't let that fool you... Games are in my DNA.

I know it isn't THE fastest time on that track, not even close, BUT I have proven the Sentinel can infact sh*t and get, you just gotta drive like you stole it (which I did steal mine.) and I have been looking for some of these day one players that would give me a chance to compete. I tried months ago and they were like "you're not ranked" or "your crew isn't good enough..." LOL.

 

Psycho Gamer almost lost to an unranked tennis player. I put so many aces on his booty he thought he was flying transcontinental on American Airlines.

 

(he probably would have beaten me if the tourney wouldn't have turned out the way it did, but the student would have surpassed the master in no time, I've done it before in other walks of life. He would have been another in a long line of examples LOL!!)

 

I don't ever call anyone a noob unless I'm kidding. I give everyone respect. With that said respect the Sentinel. I'm sure Rockstar will bring back the other one.

If you are looking for a challenge in racing, look up some of the bigger racing crews. Just add one of the more active members and say you want some competition.

OT: I like the Sentinel a lot, but I prefer other cars in the Coupes class. I've seen some good drivers go relatively fast in it.

The Comet and the Coquette were like the fastest cars in the game. But in this game it's an entirely different story. The huntley sport was up to par with sports cars as well. Schafter was really fast. In this game it's the exact opposite. In IV these cars were rare to find and they were luxurious and boasted great performance. That is what made them unique.

Yeah that is definitely f*cking realism. Because it takes 5.8 seconds for a BMW M3 E92 equipped with the Competition Package to go from 0-60 in real life right?

 

You're full of it, do some research. The Sentinel should be .1 seconds faster than the Massacro (based on the Vanquish which does 0-60 in 4.0 seconds) because the real M3 E92 with the Competition Package CAN do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. So why is the Sentinel so slow in V? Because Rockstar doesn't know their sh*t and they hired a bunch of new idiots to create the cars in V who assume that any car that isn't sport, super, or hyper is slow.

 

So the Sentinel is slow because the team that designed it didn't know what the f*ck they were doing. Unfortunately giving it the best engine and tranny upgrade will only improve it's performance by a just a little bit.

I own 20 vehicles... Outta all twenty of them, only like 6 have turbo. This one, Zion, Gater, Zentorno (just me keeping up with the joneses, ya'know the super car dicks.) Mesa,and futo. LOL!!!!

 

So I kinda agree the sentinel is slow, but for those acting like it's SUPER slow, and no fun to drive, just wont admit they don't like driving the car, and prefer other cars. Mine is unchanged now at a year in. Ridic. It might be the only car where I went fully modded. I love how it's still STD... All in all I have zero qualms with the car as this is one of MY favorite looking BMW's.

I'm aware, it just reminded me that I don't have the garage space needed to make a wild BMW... I played this game to death so much in fact I haven't touched it in days because there is nothing more I can see or do, besides more auto that hasn't been done. I'm living vicariously though you guys on this fourm. I think I'm at 31 days still and have been for months now. LOL!!!

I play this game less now. It's gotten so boring and stale. I'll just go into a FR, cruise around, get into gunfights with tryhards with mics and that's pretty much it. Once I get an Xbox One I'll finally ditch this game. Horizon 2 FTW!
