Why is the sentinel so slow

For the same reason that the Bullet is now practically the underdog in the Supers class, R* just chose to nerf it for some unknown reason.

 

I myself think it was very unreasonable to nerf the Bullet, It's a Ford GT, It's meant to be fast and hard to handle now it's just too agile it doesn't feel like the Muscle/sport it is IRL.

 

The Sentinel has went through the same thing now it's all show no go.

I have owned all 3 different Sentinels (2 now) and the XS outperforms the Open top in every way and is a pretty quick and nimble car once you figure the handling. Unfortunately the car that SHOULD be worse, the Zion, is actually a far better choice overall.

Yes, performance is more of a 323i, not M3 unfortunately. The older model from GTA IV was much better looking. They don't make them like they use to anymore.

i dont know, but fact is the zion is definatly the faster of the 2 yet the sentinel xs, and sertainly the sentinel convertible are way more populair then any of the 2 zion variants

The only small advantage it has now is its spoiler. Outside of that, if you've won races with it, it was was probably due to skill and luck.

How you come to that decision?

The Zion Cabrio and Zion XS are powered by a V8 and V10 respectively, while the Sentinel line is driven by a medium power I6.

I'm one of the luckiest and MOST skilled then... I have a WORLD RECORD in that car on the track Ring of Fire... LOL! It hasn't been said yet, but either you love the car or hate it. I have had one since day one. As far as GTA world is concerned I love the sentinel, and do miss the old one. I wish the vice city one could come back so I can recreate the car from "Fracture"...

Haha! 1:06:00 is criminal on that track...Since you're analytical... Tell me how many Sentinels have that time... It's a FAR smaller amount than the fingers you have on both hands. LOL!!! My name on there is the same as here... Like the one dude said... I probably got lucky...

 

And soo many of those lap times are glitched the ones below fifty seconds...

 

And you're correct I probably did get the bug on that track, but that time is commony held for many people in MUCH faster cars... (I'm not aware of the bug though.)

You do not have the world record for that track. Not even close.

 

I just ran 56 second lap times easily in an Elegy. 1:06 is not fast.

 

Many people got "world records" due to a glitch. I actually got one on Ring of Fire also, in a Stratum.....

 

Also, no Comet holds any world record.
