woggleman
I am about to get a PS4 in the next few weeks and I have some questions. I know you can't play last gen games on disk but can you download last gen games digitally. Can I download GTa IV or RDR from next gen PSN or On Demand and if yes are they good quality? TheTruePiMs
You'll be able with Playstation Now. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/psnow/
TheMisanthrope
... Screw that PlayStation Now sh*t. If you stream it I think you probably gotta have a good internet connection and if you're like me and do not it'd be a waste of money. So, no unless you go that route and buy into their money milking scheme you will not be able to play older games. Oh and along with that you can't download MP3's to your console, can't download movies and pictures either... It's like they downgraded from the PS3. Mind your I do love my PS4 it's just I miss a lot of features the PS3 had. All in all great console though. But if you still got your old games and old console why do you still wanna play all those games on the PS4 for a price? Doesn't make sense to me. But whatever to each their own. RedDagger
That's the good think about PC. STEAM - Letting you play any game from any generation since 2003. ...RDR... KEEP CRYING PC BABBIES Anyway, depending on how desperately you want to play last generation games, if you don't have a PS3/xbox then you could buy one. PS3s can be around £90, and Xbox 360s at around £60. Edited September 27, 2014 by RedDagger

woggleman
I have a PS3 but I only have so many HDMI ports on my tv so something has to go.
Johan
Sorry you cannot, Sony currently have a new program called "Playstation Now" which will let you rent and stream older games from past generations into your PS4.. they're slowly rolling out new games every month and I'm sure eventually they'll put games you wanted to try out. Can't tell you how good it is since I haven't tried out any of their games so far, but if you have a strong connection I'm sure you won't have any issues, otherwise as of right now there's no way you can play those older titles unless you still have your PS3. woggleman
Maybe I need to get an HDMI switch box. They don't mess up the quality of the picture do they?
