Get a car, do a few doughnuts....
Get a bike, pop a wheelie

Get a plane, do a barrel roll.

Get a helicopter, take off and land again.

Try to find a public race where some one isn't trying to ram the sh*t out of you (Could take a while that one).

Spend some time chilling out in your apartment (that's not boring at all)

try to become the all time Daddyo at Arm Wrestling (still not tried Arm wrestling yet myself, so let me know how you get on with that)

Do up a car and then sell it..

Go offroading, (you dont just have to stick to the tarmac you know)

Head to the beach, and have a little swim about..Take some snacks with you and make a proper day off it..

Shoot all of the red blips on your map, for being red and spotty like.

Keep pressing the stealth button, makes your guy look like he has gut ache..

Get a hair cut..

See how far you get on a motorbike with your eyes shut..

 

Man the list is endless... How anyone can possibly get bored is a mystery to me.....

With over 550 million, and after a recent suspension, I'm starting fresh. Keeping my money on my 1st character and starting fresh on a second.

 

Unfortunately it's really effing hard to rank up nowadays.

 

Currently only level 15 and played for two days, few hours each session.

I've played nearly every race, all missions, seen every corner of the map, used every vehicle at least 10 times, did the story mode 3 times, shaved my head, bought all clothes, and I can go on but I'm sure you get my point. So what can I do now?

 

I've made this topic so we can try and come up with new ideas on what to do now in GTA Online.

If you know something, or if you did something recently that you think some of us would enjoy, do share your ideas!

 

Hopefully this topic will result in many new ideas.

I can understand where you are coming from

after a while it does get harder to enjoy the game,

Like you i have did the story mode 2 or 3 times, and as far as cars/vehicles owned, if its in the game or been added, i have owned it at one time or another

 

What i am doing now is going for trophies and working on getting all of them......i think i like 5 or 6, which will put you back in the story mode as most of the trophies come from that part

while online i am working on completing all the platinum awards

 

But like some others have said, good friends and a crew helps to keep the game fun ........most of my friends are ranked high and have a good cash surplus so grinding for money isnt a motivator, we do missions just to see how many times the bad guys will repawn and how many kills we can get all total, we also just goof off by seeing how long and how big of a wanted level we can get without firing a shot back at the cops

 

there is one area you can test that is more or less a virgin area in the game ........creating GOOD and FAIR deathmatches 99% of the user created ones i have tried are sh*t Mini guns on one side and knives on the other.....its not hard to be a death match champion when your on the mini gun side

 

when all else fails play another game for a while, i have went back and blew the dust off titles like Motorstorm App. and Dante's Inferno, COD and others after a week or so the game feels fun again ......and having friends who play the other games also helps keep it fresh for them two

3 hours... 3 BORING AS F**K HOURS hunting the city for birds... All for a new helicopter spawn point... Waste of my life...

 

Oh, and then I had to hunt ANOTHER hundred on the DLC's...

it probably started as some running joke at the dev studios on the whiteboard...

 

Dev1: "Lets get them to run around the entire map to kill pigeons"

Dev2: "Huh? That's ridiculous. You think anybody's going to go up and down the map hunting pigeons just to unlock an achievement?"

Dev1: "yeah"

Dev2: "Okay, what were you thinking, like 20 pigeons?"

Dev1: "No, two hundred."

Dev2: <silence>two dozen?"

Dev1: Two hundred

Dev2: Well maybe just put them on the island so they are all in one place...

Dev1: No, all over the entire map. Everywhere.

Dev2: "And it's just a fun mission that's optional, right?"

Dev1: No. They have to complete it to get 100% game completion.

Dev2: F**k it, let's put it in.

What i allways enjoy is robbing stores, make a good plan, plca a getaway chopper. Or take a strange getaway car.

Or what i do with my crew is events with very organized plans to rob stores, or pretned to rob banks, and money trucks.

That's something i allways like to enjoy, or police shootouts,

What i'm currently busy with is a plane store robbery complication. Robbing all stores in the biggest planes possible.

I din't know if you like robbing stores OP, but you shouls try out some robbery sprees yourself

Retired Mafia has a very good point here, OP, consider it! To do it properly, you need to be a high-ranked, disciplined player with access to the best guns and armour. And if you want to do more in this game, it's one of the best options. Since this "heist" it's not profitable by itself, you're going to need to accumulate some money ($15,000 will be enough to start, especially if you're going to be heavy on explosives).

 

From my experience I can advise you to try rooftop sniping with your Buzzard. Ambush groups of players and try to kill them as many times as you can. Bonus points for staying alive on the roof, staying alive on the same roof with half of the map cruising around with sole intention of eliminating you, clean getaway. Try to shoot moving cars over render distance, that's pure fun.

Some tips: always rig your Buzzard with sticky and be ready to detonate it.

Pro-tip: find some hole on the map, barely accessible to others (cave, Trevor's lab) for additional fun. After you gather enough followers it will be a shame not to lead them to this place, defending yourself with anything you can and spending thousands of dollars on ammo.

Enter a violent freemode with many red dots and try making it from one side of the map to the other on foot without getting killed. Then if you make it, turn around and go back...
