Cosmic Gypsy
So yeah, over night vinyl sleeves that were straight have become wavy, everything is fine apart from the fact the sleeve (cover) is wavy, almost like warping but for the cover haha. I basically placed the vinyl flat in a pile and closed my windows to try and straighten them out, they were previously stored vertically to showcase the artwork etc. I also closed my windows in case the cold slightly wet weather effected the sleeves.Any advice from the record collectors out there?EDIT: This has never really happened to me, but recently I've had a shortage of them plastic folder things you keep vinyl in so i haven't been putting my new additions in the folders, starting to think maybe it's time to get more haha, will the sleeves regain their straight shape over time? I've been putting off buying a record case, guess i'll have to finally get it done. Since saying i put the vinyl flat in a pile I've removed them from the pile for fear of ring wear, their now placed individually, flat and away from my wall. EDIT: I put them back up against the wall where they were originally but i stuck some cardboard in between the wall and the vinyls to try and avoid moisture, the sleeves have pretty much gone back to normal over night lol, this'll do until i finally get some plastic sleeves and a record case.
