VAC for GTA ONLINE (PC)

As you all know cheating is simple in gtaonline and on console as a whole, theres no real block against it, on pc theres services like punkbuster or VAC.

 

So i wounder would it be a good idea to use VAC with gtaonline then keep sp and gta online seperate as if it's not then files will be locked down hard

I AGREE with this. Whatever Rockstar's anti-cheater system is that they're using is doing a piss poor job. I think Valve Anti Cheat will do a better job, in my opinion. Then again, Rockstar should still implement dedicated servers + an improved anti cheat + VAC to iron out the cheaters/modders.

They should just disallow everyone with different files from entering multiplayer.

VAC is not needed, R* cloud security works just fine!!!

I beg to differ. If that was the case, UFO's, money glitches, and god mode wouldn't be in this bad of a condition. VAC needs to be implemented, otherwise GTA Online will continue to be broken on PC, and we don't need that.

but yeah they should definitely add some kind of anti-cheat protection especially on PC

think modding is bad on consoles imagine what people could do on PC

I'm sure they will add more protection to cheating especially on PC, and if they can't stop it they will probably do what they did with GTA IV, make it that if you have modified files you can only join others with moded files (atleast I think thats what they did).

VAC Is NECESARRY For gta online,I mean,if mod menus are possible on console,I Wonder what is possible on PC

well what we really want is RAC (R=Rockstar) cuz asking for AC is just confusing for every1 XD
