The forklift is weak

How about this one here? It's pretty much the Dock Handler converted into a forklift.

That would do it. I used to work at a lumberyard and a forklift like the in-game one would have trouble moving a lift of cedar, let alone flipping a car.

 

A car isn't all that heavy.

I know a mustang gt weighs in at around 3500 lbs. That's what I drive...and the forklifts we used that looked about that size are rated for 2500 lbs. but whatever. It's a video game lol. I also discovered that none of the trucks in game can haul a pallet of cement without bottoming out hard, so no realism there.

 

I'd expect a forklift of that size to lift a lot more than 2,500 lbs (1.113 tons), and I say that as someone who drives an 8 or 10 tonner as part of their job.

8 or 10 tons? That's pretty big. Either, way, what you'd expect is irrelevant in this case. As I said, this is a game. But even if it wasn't, comparable to the size of a dominator,(mustang gt) the in game lift is approx. the same size as the ones we used to use, and the load capacity was 2500 pounds. Period. It's not what "I'd expect", it's what I know for certain. There's nothing to argue about. ANYWAY, back on topic for change. What about stealing containers instead of actually working there? Like having to offload them onto a truck and drive the truck somewhere to deliver the goods?

Wow, OP, thank you so much for making this thread. I was literally about to make a thread in the Help section about how to use the forklift. I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I've wasted on Dock & Stocks trying to figure out that you only had to press Right on D-pad to grab the container. Duurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This would be optional though, so you wouldn't have to go through with it.

I encountered 20ft container spawning in SP, also in freeroam. You can pick them up with Cargobob and i guess, with the Dock Handler.

I don't know whether the Dock Handler can be hooked up by the Cargobob, though.

 

However, the spawned containers behave just like the orange balls: they disappear when you leave their designated radius.

 

The Dock Handler should also have the 40ft version, too.
