I knew at the time of posting this I would meet great resistance and bias from some of the members or guests on here but I didn't know of many other places where I may find an answer to this. (I have contacted Rockstar Support, still waiting for a response) Yes I generated an account on here for the first time in order to help solve this and I would be foolish to expect people to take me as a credible source when none of you can judge my integrity from prior posts. I get that, but I assure you my motives here where not to troll or upset anybody nor was it to start a rumor. I'm merely trying to ascertain if A. This information is correct B. To see if this is happening to anyone else and C. To inform myself and others not to Farm Rooftop Rumble, should this be deemed as correct. If I am right, I'll be doing some of us a favor, If I am wrong, then I accept that and would be delighted to know that Rockstar's seemingly ruthless Ban Hammer isn't nailing people for what we all agree is something that should not happen. That is, removing cash from player accounts for Over Farming Missions. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game, it's almost perfect and I think that's one of the main reasons why people are so hard on Rockstar when problems arise but lets not forget that one of the problems people have supposedly had on here was the banning of player accounts for "receiving" hacked money back in the day. Again, unsubstantiated but never the less, reports of this happening exist and either way, I still wouldn't put something like this past any gaming developer, who is cutting their teeth in the controversial, new world of Micro Transaction Gaming. A little off topic but here is one example of the infamous Rockstar Ban Hammer at work. If you listen carefully, at the start, he is stating that he did not glitch for money and has only ever bought cash cards. Which the Rockstar employee claims that their system does not reflect that and didn't acknowledge those purchases. Broken System or Troll/Liar? You be the judge..... If you listen, he said he posted the glitch video, was banned on that particular occasion, he then removed the said video from YouTube and his account was immediately re-instated, he has not posted a glitch video since. I am drawing attention to the current ban he was placed under several months later, and his claim that Rockstar gave no valid reason (the second time) and failed to acknowledge his cash card transactions. As for the highlighted portion, Rockstar doesn't even tell us when they (hot)fix things, nor do they fully disclose everything addressed in a patch/title update. If you're looking for a possible explanation, the only one that could be remotely feasible seems to be that your friend possibly exploited some mission bug, one where you could earn double the mission payout for playing a mission for the first time, each and every time. Or, maybe your friend participated in mission glitching during those months of grinding RR. You can doubt your friend with no penalty. You should realize this.
