"PS2 map + map fixes" changes map object positions to be like in the PS2 version of San Andreas, in addition it fixes some bugs like flying objects or incorrect placements

"Map textures fix" fixes most of the texture bugs and changes textures to fit each other, in addition makes some little changes like Shady Industries and the SF smoking guy to fit better with PS2 but trying to get the PC quality and style

 

They are completelly compatible the first only changes map positionings and the second the textures

 

The problem start when mixing them with "GTA San Andreas Map Fixes", since it changes models and map placements, so you should ignore the IPL fixes of this mod and just install dff/col and then use the "PS2 map + map fixes"

 

I don't personally use Mod Loader but that also may be a solution for mixing both

Well, that's a good cuestion, but I think it has an easy answer, every one of us has got a different way of making mods, different skills and different updating ways, so keeping the things separate you'll get the latest updates faster and a cleaner vision of the developing, also every one has got a main objective (map, models, textures), so this way the people can make a choice or download them all

Hey there! First off, I want to say that this project is a definite must have, and I hope it keeps going!

I'm not strictly new, but I'm returning as a fellow VC modder (low level)

 

Anyway, to keep this post on topic, I've found some more map issues that need fixing..

Currently, I am using the most up to date version of modloader, SilentPatch and BinaryIPL

OH! I have a question I've been meaning to ask for years now since Vice City. Is it actually possible to restore cutscene props? For example it would be great to put the photoframe of Beverly back where it belonged on the table with the baseball bat Big Smoke throws onto it.

This isn't a map / texture fix, but I noticed CJ's mouth DOESN'T move when he's talking on the cellphone. The only time I've seen it move is when Sweet suggests CJ gets some new clothes, which is weird. Can this be corrected?

I've tried swapping the closed door with the open one, but doing that crashes my game :|

Does anyone remember how the PS2 version had this glitch where a pedestrian would slide up a telegraph pole, then fall off and die?

It's borked for the PC.The ped will only go halfway up, then jump down unharmed.

For the record, the middle texture is of VC and III, not LCS and VCS. Hell, those two came out after San Andreas. I'd change that if you want it accurate.

The golf course in Las Venturas looks worse when applying the IPLs. It would be great if you put the trees back where they were at the golf course, because this is important for my golf mod.

Is anyone else having this issue when they install the Beta Mulholland Safehouse via modloader? It's solid and has invisible barriers meaning you can get stuck :|

Please try this in both a new game, and a game where the driving school is unlocked, and you HAVEN'T met Michelle / dating her

 

- Teleport / jetpack to San Fierro

- Go inside the driving school

- Find Michelle and the ped she's talking to

- Kill them both

- Walk into the front entrance marker to get back outside (NOT the rear lot)

 

What happens?

There is another problem which has no solution. On the PC version of some of the streets are empty. And a lot of the streets. On the ps2 is no problem. On the PS2 version can be seen that some streets have peds. It's a shame. PC port worthless. They do not even want to bother just to copy the ped path ps2 version PC version.
Who knows the solution to this problem?

Well there are missing ped spawnpoints in DFF files. We have PS22PC dff convertor but it sadly doesn't copy/convert spawn point for them nor animation (Jizzy's bar)
