[WIP|SA] GTA San Andreas Map Fixes

It fixes alot of collision files AFAIK. Any documentation I've seen on this has been very vague.

Stupid authors packed it into the gta3.img file, so its hard to tell what has been changed. They also included most of the data files, which are still originals. Only very few have been changed.

 

Regarding PSA .. Well I still got the files .. About continuing it, more than likely not.

 

One cool thing that Danikov was doing for PSA, was putting in extra traffic lights around LS where there weren't any.

Pay close attention to the traffic. They will just stop randomly @ non-existant lights. Prime example is at the start of the game, as CJ comes out of the alley, in that area there.

Hmmm, I'll have a look at the patch then. Thanks for the info.

And I hope PSA will be back soon too! :)

Damn you San Andreas with all you bugs! :lol: nice job Az, I hope that you have only a few fixes left. The map in SA is one of the buggiest maps in the whole series, so beware my man :^:

More bugs, is possible fix it?

 

 

 

LVPD Parking transparent at some point of viewing it (this one is present on all versions, PS2, Xbox, PC):

Bug road on Las Payasadas, on this the wheels drowns on the pavement and the vehicle lost their shadows and his lights too (if them is ON), looks like a transparent triangle on that part before the vehicle lost their shadows and his wheels drowns.

The Strip Club in Venturas (I don't know if this is present on PS2 too, someone can prove it?)

Well, here the most annoying bug ever on the game. A lot of bugs on this one. :panic:

These transparent textures and probably no collisions or lack some of them, something weird. On Verdant Meadows.

R* logic attacks again.

IIRC this was fixed with aftburner's 2dfx and prelight fixes.

I was doing Beat the Cock and near the SF to LV bridge (idk what it's called) I accidentally bunnyhopped into my doom ;)

Also what about more parked vehicles shown in Vadim's PS2 vs PC video? I recall there being some low limit on PC so can it be done with OpenLA or something?

Where is this stored anyway? I'm surprised noone tried to use its PS2 equivalent.

For the enex you can just edit the IPLs, for the clerk (I'm not sure if he spawns or not in the interior?) you can just make a CLEO script or something.

I think he means the thin line of shadow by the bonnet of the Tampa.

So if you can Aztecas_5 fix this "thin line" of shadow bug :)
