Adding stripes to cars in 3DSMax?

I need help on how to add a stripe to the Sabre from GTA San Andreas. I'm familiar with the tools in 3DS Max, but I can't seem to figure out how I can add a stripe (or two) to vehicle models. I would like to know how to model them to also be the secondary color of the car. Thanks.

if you would like to add a stripe to a vehicle model all you need to do is select the polygons where you want the stripe and assign them to be secondary color you can also do this to give vehicles different colored panes like a different hood or door etc AND ALSO! when you do change the vehicles color don't forget to change the color of the damaged part too!
