For example: A guy at Subway was making my sandwich and he was incredibly nice and assuring through his dialogue and side questions. "So David, how was your day, man? Things are okay with you, brother? You want to eat here? Sure, brother it is no problem.." And on top of that, he had an Indian accent. I know being friendly is apart of his job, but he was sooooo nice to me. And... I like that. Usually people glance over me and aren't that nice. But when it happens, I smile with glee. SWEET SUCCESSS!!! ~When driving up and then down a really big hill and getting tickly butterflies in your stomach ehehehe ~When you've developed a bond with a baby and their eyes light up and they can't stop smiling and giggling when they see you ~Movie theatre popcorn & movie dates. Recently, I've been on a winning streak when it comes to my social life on campus. I go to a community college, and this is my second year. Last year, I enjoyed my experience, but I had a tough time clicking with others. I had a tough time making friends. I felt insecure and overly self-conscious, so it wasn't fun to me. Well, things have changed, as it feels as if I'm going to a different college now. I'm making friends with ease. I'm socializing with no trouble. I ultimately realized I could still be that carefree, blissful ten year old I once was if I so desired, so I figured I might as well take on that mindset again. Positivity is great. I saw this one guy from my U.S. Women's History class, which I took during my very first semester, and decided to talk to him. That went extremely well. I look forward to introducing myself to other folks at school next week. A couple months ago, I wouldn't have had all this courage and confidence.
